SUKMA: The Deal With the Devil

SUKMA: The Deal With the Devil
Retrocognition

Like the early hours of the previous day, Mr. Risman woke up to perform the tahajjud prayer. However, when his consciousness was fully gathered, he was surprised to find that the eldest was not with Bu Inah and Sukma.

Immediately Mr. Risman got out of bed, then walked to the entrance. The door was locked, still locked. It's impossible if Atikah goes out at night. Mr. Risman also walked to the bathroom located next to him in the kitchen.

Upon arriving in the kitchen, how surprised the middle-aged man found his eldest daughter unconscious in front of the bathroom door. He grabbed Atikah, then patted his daughter's cheek. Atikah was still unconscious as well. Quickly Mr. Risman carried her to the main room, then patted her cheek again.

Mr. Risman's panicked voice accidentally woke Bu Inah and Sukma. How surprised Ms. Inah when she found Atikah unconscious on her father's lap. Immediately Ms. Inah took a small bottle of eucalyptus oil and put it in front of Atikah's nose. While trying to wake her daughter, Bu Inah squeezed the tip of Atikah's toe.

"Sir, you should ask for help from neighbors, who knows they are willing to help," said Bu Inah.

"But you're not good at waking them up, ma'am."

"Ah, what is this father, anyway?"

While both his parents were busy waking Atikah, Sukma sauntered into the bathroom with the excuse of wanting to urinate. According to him, Atikah fainted due to the presence of a woman with a knife in her stomach, which sometimes appeared suddenly.

Upon arrival in front of the bathroom, Sukma opened the door. When he got in there, he circulated the view to all corners of the bathroom. There's nothing there.

After making sure everything was okay, the little girl came out of the bathroom. However, just a few more steps towards the main hall, Luka felt that someone was standing behind her while blowing a gentle breeze caressing her nape. Feeling disturbed, he patted his nape, then looked back. There's no one there.

The patient returned to the main room. Atikah is still unconscious. Sukma who felt compassion for his brother, helped awaken him. He held Atikah's hand, and closed his eyes. Mr. Risman and Mr. Inah question his strange behavior, but Sukma remains unmoved. He breathed deeply, until his body slowly relaxed and became unconscious in Bu Inah's arms.

The middle-aged couple grew increasingly panicked to see their two daughters unconscious. Ms. Inah urged Mr. Risman to ask for help from neighbors. This time, Mr. Risman agreed to his wife's request, then rushed to seek the help of the next-door neighbor. Bu Inah continued to put a bottle of eucalyptus oil in front of the noses of his two daughters alternately, while calling their names to wake up immediately.

While both her parents are busy seeking help, Atikah and Sukma are deepening into the subconscious. When he opened his eyes, Sukma was surprised to find himself in the rented kitchen he lived in some time ago. There was a noise from the main room. The little girl rushed to find out outside the kitchen. How astonished he was to find his brother protecting a woman from the attack of the man with the face of the sangar who held a knife in his hand.

"Steak! Get away from there!" exclamation Sukma.

"Strong?" Atikah was astonished to know that her sister was in the same place. "Go away from here!"

The stubborn Sukma, immediately pulled Atikah's hand until it fell. Meanwhile, the man with the face of Sangar stabbed the stomach of the woman protected by Atikah earlier. Blood poured out from the woman, making the man with the face of the sangar feel satisfied. For a moment, Sukma's chest felt tight watching the terrible murder that occurred before his eyes.

"Why did Dedek, anyway, pull the hands of everything?" gerutu Atikah is upset. "Teteh the woman. Poor him, from earlier beaten the same man until cry for mercy."

Sukma was stunned, and looked at his brother's eyes with regret. "M-maafin Grandpa, Tea. Dedek just don't want to tease out why."

Atikah grunted as he saw the look of regret on his sister's face. However, Sukma who is still confused to see the terrible events a few moments ago, does not really care about the frustration of the brother. He saw the man with the face of the sangar smiling with satisfaction and went to the bathroom to wash his hands from the blood of the woman.

Moments later, the man returned from the bathroom. Regardless of the dying woman in one corner of the room, he casually breezed out like nothing had ever happened. Of course, his relaxed attitude made Atikah even more furious.

Atikah ran after the man outside the rented room. However, his steps immediately stopped when Sukma held his hand. Atikah stared intently at Sukma.

"Not a thorny hand?" atikah.

"Seek, there's no point chasing after that. Come on, let's go home!"

"Going home? Go home to where?"

"To our nature, Tea. This is not our nature. Come on!"

"Dedek said what, anyway?"

"Just like Teteh came home with Dedek. Poor Dad same mom waiting for us at home."

Atikah undoes his intention to pursue the man with the rogue face. While following Sukma from behind, he occasionally looked bitterly at the woman who had been cruelly killed by the man. But on the other hand, his little heart realized that there was something strange there. Every time he cried out to help the woman, no one would bully him, as if his presence were considered to be non-existent.

Arriving in front of the bathroom, Sukma told Atikah to enter first. Atikah said, then went into the bathroom. Atikah's view was darkening. Faintly heard the voice of his father and mother calling him from afar. The voices of Pak Risman and Bu Inah were getting very close, until finally Atikah began to realize that what he experienced a while ago was just a dream. As his consciousness was fully gathered, the memory of the female murder slowly vanished.

Weakly, Atikah opened her two spells. Anxiety on the faces of Mr. Risman and Mr. Inah, finally turned into a springy look. They looked relieved after seeing his eldest son muttering.

"Father, Mother .." said Atikah with a raucous voice.

"Well, thank God, you've finally regained consciousness" said Mr. Risman hugging tightly Atikah's body.

A couple who are next door neighbors of Mr. Risman's residence, are happy with the already conscious Atikah. However, the happiness between them had not yet fully returned. Sukma is still unconscious. Ms. Inah and her neighbor's wife, Lina, were still trying to pat the little girl who was shaking, like she was sleeping very fast.

"That's it, sir. I asked for help first with Mr. Suwandi, he happened to be quite reliable in handling things like this," proposed the man who is a fryer, his name is Ujang.

"What happened to my son? He just passed out normally" Mr. Risman said.

"If you're just passing out, which is possible all along. Now at dawn, Mr. Suwandi is usually awake" said Lina.

"No, no. Definitely Dedek will soon wake up really," said Mr. Risman insisted.

Bu Inah was still anxious, shaking Sukma's body. The little girl still did not wake up. Ujang, the fryman tried to persuade Mr. Risman to ask for help Mr. Suwandi. Similarly, Lina, who continues to give Mr. Risman understanding, that unusual things are happening to Sukma and must be resolved by metaphysical forces. While Atikah who does not remember anything else about the incident she experienced during fainting, can only be pensive to watch her sister.

Far away in other realms, Sukma apparently did not want to return to human nature. He was still in the contract that inhabited the dying woman earlier. Slowly the little girl approached the woman in red who was standing in the corner of the main room.

"Yes. Help me, Dek. Tolooong," said the woman panting.

"If you may know, what's Aunt's name? Why was Auntie stabbed with that evil om?"

"My name's Euis. I don't know why my husband would kill me."

"Oh, so that was Aunt's husband? That's bad he stabbed Auntie in the stomach."

"She has been doing that for a long time. Even when he came home from his first wife's house, he was always rude to me" Euis explained in a raucous voice.

"Oh, has Aunt made a mistake with him?"

"I'm just asking for a living and justice. He spent too much time with his first wife, forgetting that there was me to bless" he explained. "Am I wrong to make a living on my own husband?"

Sukma scratched his head while grimacing not understanding. What he means is just a matter of living. He knew about his living because his mother often talked about it repeatedly with his father. During this time Mr. Risman only gave a living to taste, but Mrs Inah managed it until all living costs were met.

Euis was sobbing. His face is getting smelly. Sukma could not bear to see him constantly crying, until he had to pat Euis on the shoulder.

"Already, Aunt. Maybe the evil om does not like Auntie," persuaded Sukma to pity Euis.

"I knew. But I can't keep this up. Ever since I broke away from my body, I have remained in pain from the knife that stuck in my stomach. My blood doesn't stop flowing. So sakiiit."

Sukma, curious about the knife in Euis' stomach, tried to pull it out. As forcefully as he pulled the handle of the knife, but it seemed reluctant to escape from Euis' body. Nevertheless, the little girl never gave up. In the second attempt, Euis screamed in pain until the knife was removed.

The blood from Euis' stomach was still flowing. Sukma is confused, looking for a cloth or medicine that can stop bleeding in the stomach Euis. However, slowly the blood dripping from the woman's stomach slowly stopped before Sukma managed to find the wound dressing cloth.

"Dec, the wound .. the wound stopped," said Euis in admiration.

"really?" Sukma smiled in a knot, then looked at the wound caused by the blade in Euis' stomach.

The woman's stomach was slowly rubbed. Euis was still grimacing due to the piercing pain in his stomach. A dark blue light suddenly emerged from Sukma's palm. Slowly, the gaping wound in Euis' stomach closed and no longer shed a single drop of blood.

"Well! Aunt is healed! Auntie's not sick anymore, is she?" decak Sukma was amazed.

"You're so talented, Dek. The wound in my stomach is healed. Thank you, Little Adek," said Euis, then hugged the small body of Sukma.

"Tante, I'm going home first. I'm worried, Father and Mother are sad," said Sukma to take off Euis' embrace.

"All right," said Euis. "But you must pray for me to be calm forever. I'll go back to where I belong. Again, thank you, Dek."

Sukma departed from before Euis. He walked into the room where he first came. But just as he was about to enter the kitchen, a middle-aged man dressed in all white came clasping his hands. Sukma rebelled, afraid that the man might harm him.

"Who's Father? What do you want me to do?" ask Sukma to panic.

"Same father your mother waited for you from earlier. Let's go home soon!" take the man.

Soon, a bright light illuminated the kitchen area to make Sukma glare. Along with that, Sukma's consciousness began to gather until finally the awakening of his stupor. Slowly Sukma opened his eyes, staring one by one at the people nearby. Three people were recognizable, while the other three looked foreign. Bu Inah and Mr. Risman looked happy to see the youngest was awake. However, not for Sukma who feels pain in his wrist.

"Mother, my hand hurts," Sukma complained with a slight whine.

"It's okay, Deck. Earlier, Mr. Suwandi held Dedek's hand to get up," explained Bu Inah, rubbing Sukma's wrist.

"Thank God, Dedek is awake," said Mr. Suwandi rubbed Sukma's head.

Sukma hugged Bu Inah tighter, while occasionally staring at Pak Suwandi cynically. Even with Mr. Risman, who actually does not like to ask for help from smart people to solve his problems. Even so, he still thanked for the help of Mr. Suwandi and his neighbors.

"Other times if you need help, just call me. My house is close by, just walk forward a little past three houses" Mr. Suwandi said in pleasantries before leaving.

Mr. Risman smiled while nodding, although his heart did not like if he had to ask Mr. Suwandi for help.

"By the way, this Sukma Deck why is it so hard to wake up? Though it had been given the smell of eucalyptus oil, the big toe had also been squeezed," asked Lina curiously.

"Oh, that. He was lost to another realm. So the stings are not arbitrary fainting," explained Mr. Suwandi.

"Once again I say thank you, sir," said Mr. Risman, actually wanted to strongly reject the statement of Mr. Suwandi, but felt bad.

"Yes, Sir. I'll take care of it."

Mr. Suwandi breezed away towards the rented gate, while two others reentered the contract next to Mr. Risman's room. After they left, Mr. Risman went back to see his daughter. Sukma was still pouting, his hand hurt from being gripped by Mr. Suwandi.

"The fathers are evil. Though I want to go home alone, but my hands are held firmly. Dedek is not naughty, Mom. Dedek just help Aunt Euis get the knife out of her stomach. Pity him, cry constantly because the knife can not be removed," said Sukma while stroking his wrist.

Bu Inah continues to persuade Sukma to forgive Mr. Suwandi. Not to forget, he also said that the pain on his wrist will soon heal. However, Ms. Inah and Mr. Risman did not care about Sukma's story. They thought, her youngest daughter was just dreaming in her stupor earlier.
