The first day of fasting, Hilman felt bored, especially Ramadan this time coincides with the holiday. Hilman had an idea, to invite his son and wife to visit Mr. Risman's contract, while looking for clues about the whereabouts of the midwife who dumped her sister-in-law's baby. He was convinced that Ms Ratmi's daughter was still alive today.
"Why, anyway, Pa, pay a visit to their house all? Their home is no bigger than ours. After all, it is not the rich who have to kill the poor. It should be those who come here to ask for alms" Farah said lazily.
"It's not about the poor and the rich, it's about human relationships. Although Mr. Risman used to work here, at least I have considered his family as my family as well" said Hilman casually.
"What's? So, Papa doesn't think they're our family, too? Holy hooch! Papa this is starting to whine, huh? Since when did the poor become part of our family?" farah asked in annoyance.
"Since Om Hamid married Aunt Arini. Don't you know that Arini isn't from a family?"
"Yes ..it's another story. Aunt Arini, right, orphan."
"Where are the orphans? She did not want to admit her own parents in front of her husband's family. I know everything about him. Actually, he was married at the same time Om Hamid was deliberately not hijak his family because of the shame accused of the son of a weasel. You remember, don't you, Aunt Arini's shaman cousin?"
"Hm, that's right. But I still don't want to see Mr. Risman's family. Who is the real employer nyamperin his former assistant?"
"If you don't want to, yes. I want to take Albi. She must have met Atikah again."
"What?! Papa don't bring Albi all dong. He's gonna be a naughty follower like their son."
"Rogue? Naughty what? Ah, you like suuzon mulu. After all, they only play a day, there's nothing."
"But, Pa ...."
"Udah, ah. Now I'm the same Albi left first. Pity our son, the boss at home all day."
Hilman breezed towards Albi's room. Farah could only snort in disgust with her husband's behavior. Although Sukma had helped him, his heart had not changed. He still felt taller than the workers in his house.
After picking up Albi from the room, Hilman and his only son rushed to the car. The two say goodbye to Farah, though the woman does not like to see them go. Leisurely, they got into the car, then left his magnificent residence.
While Hilman and Albi are on their way, Sukma invites Atikah to play outside the rented area. He wanted to play soap bubbles. Atikah, feeling lethargic, was forced to follow her sister outside the gate.
"Tea, buy the bubble where, huh?" ask Sukma enthusiastically.
"Try at Pak Beni's shop. Who knows," replied Atikah.
"Ah, yes yes."
So hurry the two to the shop of Mr. Beni. Despite not eating and drinking all day, both are still given an allowance to buy maninan. Bu Inah understands very well, that children also need entertainment while undergoing fasting, as long as it is not excessive.
Upon arrival at the stall, Sukma and Atikah met with Mr. Beni. The fat man's face seemed to be exclaiming the arrival of the small buyer who bought his wares. Sukma and Atikah each took a small bottle of red soap liquid.
"How much is this, sir?" ask Sukma.
"Five hundred, Deck."
"This," said Sukma while handing the coin into the hands of Mr. Beni. "Pak Beni, Mr. Beni. You don't feel awkward in Pak Haji's contract anymore, huh?"
Mr. Beni smiled widely. "No. I have not sprained again with Mr. Haji, so it is not nyimpen cuckoo again there. But now I have moved on to the right path. No more stuff with dedemit."
"Well, thank goodness then, sir. I'm going with the seneng. That's a lot of bubble selling, sir. I'm the same Teteh will snack here every day," said Sukma.
Mr. Beni chuckles. "Yes, later the Father sold his bubble a lot, let many buy."
"If so, we go home first, yes, sir," said Atikah.
Both went home. Sukma can't wait to blow his toy bubbles. So does Atikah, who looks carefree playing with her sister.
Long enough they play around bubbles in the rented area. From the top floor to the bottom. Wanara, who meditated on the rented roof, was not at all disturbed by the activities of the brothers. He was completely calm when Ramadan arrived. For him, this is a good time to get to know who the creator of the universe really is, even though Wanara used to mislead people by his magic.
A few minutes later, there was a sound of a car parked in front of the rented gate. Shortly thereafter, Albi ran into the rented area, followed by Hilman behind him. Their presence made Sukma and Atikah cringe, then scream with excitement.
"A Albiii!" they shouted rushing down from the top floor of the contract to welcome the arrival of Hilman and Albi.
Albi seemed excited to see the two brothers. He ran towards the two with a radiant face. Meanwhile, Ms. Inah who had been in the house, rushed outside to welcome the arrival in question.
"Well, Mr. Hilman! How are you?" greet Ms. Inah kindly.
"Good, Mom. What about my family mother?"
"Good God."
"Yes, where's Mr Risman?"
"Oh, now Mr. Risman trades, yes. Thank goodness."
"Yes, Sir. Oya, please sit down, sir."
Hilman nodded, then took off his shoes and sat down on the rented porch. Madam Inah went into the contract, to replace her face with a long veil. Meanwhile, Mr. Risman who had just returned home shopping, was astonished to see the whereabouts of Hilman in front of his contract.
"Pk Hilman? Have you been waiting here a long time?" ask Mr. Risman semringah.
"Ah, no, sir. Me and Albi just arrived" Hilman replied with a big smile.
"Oya, where's Miss Farah? She's not coming here?"
"I asked you, sir, but I didn't want to. You also know, right, my wife is like how?"
"Ah, yes, it's okay, sir. Come in, Mr. Hilman. It's hot outside."
Hilman. Before entering Mr. Risman's house, he called Albi to meet with both Sukma and Atikah's parents. The three little children who were playing the bubble, rushed over to Hilman. Albi kissed the hands of Sukma and Atikah's parents, and vice versa.
After which, they played again outside, blowing bubbles cheerfully. Hilman with Mr. Risman and Ms. Inah, talked about the life they lived this time. Hilman was thrilled to see the progress shown by Mr. Risman's family. Without his help again, Mr. Risman can be independent and earn more than being a gardener in his house.
"Yes, Mr. Hilman. What about the company, Father? Is it recovered?" ask Mr. Risman.
"Alhamdulillah, Sir. Although it was initially quite difficult to recover it, it has now improved, even more advanced than before."
"Alhamdulillah then, sir. Good luck, yeah."
"Yes, Sir. I would be very sad if I went bankrupt. The factory was my sister's only legacy. It's a pity that it went bankrupt. If his daughter had met, the factory would have been handed over to my sister's daughter. Then, I'll take care of the branch out of town."
"Where is your sister's daughter?"
"First, when she was born, my sister-in-law told midwives to throw her away. Now, I don't know where the midwife is. Last time I heard, the midwife was admitted to the RSJ. But after I searched, the midwife didn't exist."
"That, yeah. How long has it been since your brother-in-law threw the baby away?"
"It's been a long time, sir. About seven years ago."
"Well, it's been a long time, yes, sir. Lucky if the baby finds, if not-"
"Hopefully he's alive, sir. I was so hopeful. Whoever is now taking care of my sister's daughter, I hope she's a good person. If I meet the person who takes care of my sister's daughter, I'll give you a lot of money as a token of gratitude."
"You should try while praying, may Allah facilitate the good intentions of the Father to find the child. Oya, by the way, how's your brother-in-law in Kuningan?"
"The conditions are getting sadder, sir. The last time I went to Kuningan, I saw her being shackled because of hallucinations and troubling people. Sometimes he screams hysterically, for seeing creepy creatures."
"Wasn't anyone in his family trying to treat my brother-in-law?"
Hilman. "I wanted to take it back to Bandung, to be treated at RSJ only, but his family strictly forbid. They said, just let him be shackled. The hallucinations he experienced were nothing but punishment from his fellowship with the devil just for the sake of having a child."
In the middle of their conversation, Sukma came to see his mother. So did Atikah and Albi who were waiting outside. Apparently they are tired of playing in the rented area.
"Mom, we can play outside, okay?" pinta Sukma with a face.
"Don't ah, outside a lot of traffic vehicles."
"Come, Mom. We'll be careful."
"Hm ... Dedek is stubborn, anyway. Yes, Dedek can play outside as long as not far away as it was."
"Yes. Dedek promise. Dedek also will not be far from Atikah Teteh."
Madam Inah nodded. Sukma rushed outside, then ran with Atikah and Albi. All three looked cheerful as they walked out of the rented gate. Albi's idea of playing hide and seek became a reality.
Before starting the game, the three boys were overflowing first. Whoever loses, he is the one who is on guard. After long enough to flip through the palm, finally Albi lost. It is his turn to guard.
Along with Atikah and Sukma who were hiding, Albi closed his eyes while facing the wall. After finishing counting, the boy turned around to look for Sukma and Atikah. When a few steps were about to leave his place of vigil, two large-bodied men caught him suddenly. Albi tried hard to rebel, break away. However, Albi's attempt to break free was nothing compared to the strength of the two foreign men who captured him.
Knowing Albi was kidnapped by two foreign men, Sukma and Atikah come out of hiding. They panicked as they chased after Albi. The two kidnappers got into a car parked on the front road, then left. Sukma gasped, his speed reduced. His demon side was suppressed by his human side which was increasing every time he fasted.
"Oh, how's this, Tea?" asked Sukma gasping.
"We tell Om Hilman."
