Romantic Dinner Part 1

Dane says he'll pick up Denna at seven in the night.

"I'll be waiting for you. Dane, I'm going to the hospital first."

"Yes, be careful Denna."

Denna looked smiling as she clutched the phone to her chest.

Denna went downstairs and ate with her family.

Nara and Jaden looked at each other strangely as they saw her daughter seem to smile to herself.

"I go to the hospital first, huh?" Denna kissed her family's cheeks one by one.

"Son, be careful on the road."

"Don't imagine the Dane going on. Focus on driving" his dad said.

"Dad!" Denna pouting.

"Did you say the wrong thing?"

"Hem ...!" Denna walked to her car.

At the Dane mansion, he was also eating together with his grandfather and son.

"Daddy, I'm going to go to the bookstore to buy a lot of storybooks. Does Daddy want to come?"

Dane looked at his grandfather. "Honey, Daddy you can't come because there's a very important business. Nio is just like Grandpa and Uncle Sam" explained Rayhan's grandfather.

"Daddy's job is a lot, huh?"

"Daddy has an appointment with someone and the promise has to be kept, right?"

Nio nodded quickly. "Then Daddy has to keep his word. We'll take a walk together sometime, and we'll take Aunt Denna like that."

"Surely, Son."

Nio resumed eating the morning. "Dane."

"Auw," Dane groaned softly as his still sore hand was held by his grandfather.

The old man immediately looked suspiciously at his grandson. "Follow grandpa to the study for a while. Uncle Sam, please accompany Nio to a meal."

"Good, Cake."

Dane seemed silent for a moment. He would definitely make his grandfather worry.

Dane followed his grandfather. When he was in the study, Grandpa told Dane to take off his shirt because his grandfather wanted to see how many wounds were on Dane's body.

"Sir."

"If you still think this grandfather is your grandfather, do grandfather's orders."

Dane can't say anything more. He took off his suit and opened one by one the buttons of his shirt.

Grandpa could see there were cuts to Dane's stomach and arms that looked brand new.

"Oh God! Why not tell Grandpa all this?"

"Grandfather, this isn't the first thing for me and grandpa."

"Who would dare hurt you like this?"

"Sir, this is my business and my business. Grandpa knows how I am, right?"

The old man sat leaning against his proud chair. "Grandfather is afraid, son."

"Grandfather calm down. I'll be fine. Rayhan Danu Atmaja's granddaughter will be fine."

"Son, don't be like that. Grandpa was really scared. Don't intervene on your own. Let your men do it."

"What is that that grandpa taught me? I have to keep intervening on my own what else is taking care of those people.

The old man sighed slowly. She had a huge fear of her only grandchild ever leaving her, and it was like a nightmare for Rayhan.

Rayhan knows that being a mobster like himself will always be involved in danger, but when he sees Dane dying because waiting for a heart donor is a very scary thing.

"Grandfather, we'd better get back to the dinner table because Arsen's gonna ask why we've been in here so long."

"Son, aren't you willing to leave this black world? Get married and live happily away from your present life."

Dane looked at grandpa ya flat. "Grandfather, I will one day leave all this behind, but not for now because there is still some unresolved business. I'll find out who made Tiara an accident."

"What's? What do you mean, Dane?" Grandpa surprised.

Dane recounted the information he got from the man he had dueled yesterday.

"So, Tiara died because someone accidentally hit her car?"

Dane nodded. "I'll find that guy until I see him."

Tonight the Dane's been looking neat with after black shirts and matching pants. He did not use a tie, but buttoned his buttons full up.

His son and grandfather had left the house. Grandpa knows that Dane's going to dinner with Denna. So, he took Nio for a walk to buy his favorite story book.

"Zia's? What are you doing here?"

Dane was slightly surprised to see Zia who was suddenly there. "Mas Dane!" The girl suddenly hugged Dane.

Dane seemed speechless not responding, but he endured the pain on his hand. "Zia, watch your attitude." Dane pulled the girl's hand away from her.

The girl in front of him was wiping away her tears. Dane looked at him flatly.

"Mas Dane, I'd like to apologize to you, Mom."

"Sorry for what?"

"Mba Denna must have said something about what she heard."

"On that. Do you really love me?" The girl nodded. "You want to be my wife, but you don't want to be my son's mother?"

"Mas Dane, I can explain it all to you."

"No need, Zia because I don't need any explanation either."

"Mas Dane, I fell in love with you at first sight and I really like you."

"I appreciate how you feel about me, but I'm sorry, I love other women, and that woman is going to be the mother of my son."

Dane walked away from there leaving the girl standing alone in her place.

"I've really lost the man I love and the man who can make my life happy and it's all because of that woman." Zia's tears drip slowly on her cheeks.

Dane in the car saw Zia who was still standing there. "I don't want to hurt your heart or another woman, but I'm sorry." Dane dialogues by himself.

Denna stood in front of her house pacing back and forth waiting for Dane to come. Several times he looked at the clock on his wrist.

"She's coming at seven, but why is it that seven and fifteen minutes have not come yet?"

Nara and Jaden were behind the window looking at her daughter.

"Didn't Dane take my daughter to dinner?"

"I don't know, honey, but I'm sure he's coming."
