Difficult Feelings to Explain

Denna turned around and saw that there was a small black box under her feet that Dane had wanted to give her.

Denna picked it up and opened the box. Tears suddenly fell down without permission when Denna saw what was in the box.

A small round diamond ring, looks very sweet. Denna took a deep breath, and stopped her slowly trying to calm her heart that was not because it now felt.

"He was serious. Why did she suddenly want to marry me? I can't marry him. Can't." Denna carries a ring that she intends to return to Dane.

Denna went inside the house, and when she got to the door of her room. Denna was surprised to see her mother standing there.

"Where are you from?"

"Mama? I was out for a while because-."

"Is there a Dane outside?"

"Do you know he's here?"

"Mom knows and sees everything." Nara smiled and approached the princess.

Denna was gaping to hear what her mother had just said. "So, Mama just saw me and Dane being-."

"Look at everything, honey." Nara pinched the little nose of her daughter. "Now try to explain to mom what she's doing in the middle of the night?"

"There's nothing, Ma. Ma, it's night, we better get some sleep." Denna walked past her mother into the room.

Nara came in because there was no way there was anything. Nara also wanted to know the meaning of their kiss.

"Denna, if you don't want to tell me, I'll ask Dane directly. If you need to call Dane tonight.

"Don't, Ma! Oh my goodness, Mama!" Denna is confused what should she say if Dane asks her to get married?

"Denna!" Nara looked with glaring eyes at her daughter.

Denna shows the gift box from Danne. "She wanted to give me a birthday present, Ma."

"Yes, Ma because tomorrow morning he has to go somewhere and doesn't know when to return."

"What's? He proposed to you?" Nara was surprised. Denna nodded slowly. "When?"

Nara took the ring. "It's so pretty this ring, son. So, you've accepted Dane's marriage proposal? Mama's very happy, Denna." Nara hugged her daughter.

"Not yet, Ma," replied Nara slowly.

"Ma, me and Dane have nothing to do, and she suddenly says she wants to marry me. I-I certainly can't take it for granted, Ma, I have to know what Dane means."

"Perhaps, she secretly loves you, Denna."

Denna sat on her bed, and her face seemed to be thinking. "He loves me? How come? He never said he loved me."

Nara sat down next to Denna and rubbed her daughter's head slowly. "The man there is a type that is not easy to say love to a woman, there are also those who easily say love to every woman. Dane's his type like your father used to."

"Absolute father like that?"

"Of course, therefore mom loves your dad very much because he's the type of guy who doesn't need to say he loves mom, but mama knows he loves mama. Most men like that are loyal and love only one woman."

The mother and son were shocked to see Jaden suddenly on the doorstep of Denna's room with his upset face.

"Dad." Denna approached and hugged her father.

Instantly Jaden's annoyed face was lost when he got a hug from his daughter.

"You can make my mood better. What are you guys talking about? Why not tomorrow morning? Isn't it sleepy?"

Denna looked at her mother. Nara moves out of her place and takes Jaden back to the room, and tomorrow she will tell him what she and Denna are talking about.

Denna is seen lying on her bed and she looks straight at the ring Dane gave her.

"What do you mean you're asking me to get married? You secretly love me or you just want a wife figure who can take care of Nio? Then why not just marry Zia?"

Now Denna also remembered Zia. How did Zia feel when she found out she was invited to marry by Dane?

The confused Denna finally tried to close her eyes so that she could sleep for a while.

At his house, Dane was in Nio's room. He lay right next to his son. Dane stared as he slowly rubbed the face of the sleeping little boy.

"I'm sure if this decision I'm making is true. Denna is the right woman who can stand by me and somehow I don't want her to be away from me?" Dane held his chest. "Dimas, is it not because your heart is on me? But this is exactly the feeling I feel for Denna. I love Denna, and I'm in love with her" Dane talks to herself.

No sooner did Nio's room door sound knocked on by someone. Dane sent people in.

"Young Master, everything is ready, and you can leave immediately."

"Thank you, Uncle Sam. Grandpa will be home soon and I'm asking for help to keep Arsen well here. I've given Arsen my understanding that I'm leaving in a few days for an important job. So, he doesn't have to look for me because I'll call him often."
