Surprise Party Part 2

Rayhan's grandfather said that Dane actually likes to paint. The painting given to Denna was the result of Dane's own imagination because Denna had never taken such a picture. Nio told his daddy that he was confused about giving Denna what for his birthday gift and Dane proposed giving the painting.

"Tante Denna, the painting will be placed in Aunt Denna's room, yes, so that Aunt can remember the same Nio if she returns to Aunt's workplace there."

"New workplace?" Nara wonder.

"Eh! Sorry, Nio when the day to look for Denna, but Danne said if Denna there is a task to another place a bit far away. So, it hasn't been able to meet Denna yet" Grandfather explained by gesturing to Nara and the others.

Nara understood immediately. He understands that his daughter is having trouble with Dane.

"Yes, Auntie's gonna put it in Aunt's room. You know what, Nio? Aunty's back at the hospital here. So, Nio can meet with Auntie."

"Are you, Auntie? So, Nio can play at Aunt's house like that?"

"Yes, later if I move back to my old house. You can stay over. We'll spend some time together there."

"Thank you, Auntie!" exclaimed the little boy happily while hugging Denna.

There were no long sounds of fireworks in the sky. Denna looked amazed to see it. The atmosphere there became very lively because the sound of fireworks did not stop..

"Happy birthday to the Beautiful Doctor."

"V! Why did you just show up, when I saw your bike was here?"

"I'm still hiding to prepare these fireworks for you. It's also a pretty flower for a very beautiful woman." V gives a bouquet of medium-sized white roses.

"Thank you, V, this flower is so beautiful." Denna hugged each other with V.

Not far from there, Rayhan's grandfather approaches Miranti's grandmother, and Rayhan's grandfather asks about who the man who gave Denna the rose was.

"He's V the late Dimas' adopted brother I told you about."

"His sister? Does he like Denna?"

"I don't know, Ray. However, judging from what V always does, it seems like he does like Denna."

"Did Denna like it too?"

Miranti's grandmother poked her shoulders up. "If Denna is near someone. She would have told her mother, but for now she would often tell me if she still didn't want to think about the matter."

"Dane too. Every time I talked about getting her married, she just dodged. Said Sam's uncle, Dane was being approached by Nio's school teacher named Zia."

"Zia's? Have you met him?"

"I once met the girl while driving Nio to school. I see her very kind, gentle and beautiful. She was also a simple girl, but Dane never talked about the girl. Even Dane has asked Denna a few times."

"They both seem hard to put together like this." Two people of the same age looked at each other.

The show went well. Denna looked happy, although there was a little something bothering her.

The dane. That man is what made Denna's heart tonight not entirely happy.

"Tante Denna, thank you. Nio wishes Aunt Denna a long, healthy life always and soon to be a mommy. Uh, I mean get married fast. Uncle Sam I forgot his words." Nio immediately looked at Uncle Sam.

The middle-aged man was even grinning. Feeling caught if he taught those words to Nio.

"Yes, that."

Denna smiling. "Thank you, Nio."

The evening's show was over at eleven p.m., but Nio and his two grandfathers were coming home at nine because Nio was going to school tomorrow morning.

"Denna, that was Dane's son?"

"Yes, that's Dane's son. His name is Nio and he's such a sweet kid." Denna seemed happy when she told him about the first time she knew Nio.

"It's worth it that you're very familiar. You're like his mother." V gulps his orange juice.

"I don't know why I love him. He made me slowly forget my sorrow."

"Denna, are you and Dane not in a special relationship?" V glanced at Denna.

"I? Of course not." Denna has nothing to do with Dane.

"Because usually a woman if close to the child of a man. He usually gets close to his father. What's more Dane's single parents and you're single."

"I was close to Nio, but Dane wasn't. You saw for yourself yesterday that Dane was eating with his girlfriend."

"Yes too."

From a distance Nara and Grandma saw Denna and V sitting together at a round table in the middle of the garden.

"So, did Dane say he wanted to marry Denna? But why didn't Rayhan tell me?"

"Nobody seems to know if Dane invited Denna to get married."

"I actually can't believe I you said this because Rayhan told me that Dane always avoided talking about marriage, but didn't know she was doing the unexpected."

"Dane's kind of a guy like Jaden. He'll do things no one else wants to know."

"Then, what's Denna's answer?"

"He hasn't answered. He wants to give back the ring that Dane gave him. Denna says she doesn't want to marry a selfish guy like Dane. My daughter seems to be upset and angry that today Dane did not come to her birthday. He even left for a few days leaving Nio as well."

Grandma Miranti sighed softly. "Dahal, grandma hopes they can get married. Dane seems to secretly like Denna."

"Pun with my daughter, it's just that she hasn't realized it yet. Why is he this guy so similar to me and Jaden back then?" Nara glanced at Grandma Miranti.

Denna still seems to be talking to V. They even seemed to be enjoying the conversation at this moment.

Until finally, the whole show was completely finished. V went home and Denna slept in her room.

Denna, who was lying on her bed, looked at the ring from Danne, and she even wore it.

"It's so beautiful. Why do I like this ring so much? And why do I miss the man who gave me this ring?"

Denna got out of her bed and she was now sitting by the window of her room looking outwards hoping she saw a Dane like that time, but she waited a long time, dane's car wasn't there.

There was a sense of disappointment in Denna's heart, but she regained her senses if Dane had indeed said she would go somewhere in a few days.
