The Sadness of Friends

That morning Denna woke up with a happy face. He looked at his phone and it turned out that there was one incoming message.

When he opened it, it was from Dane.

Denna accidentally doesn't open it first so Dane thinks Denna hasn't woken up. Denna also hopes that Dane thinks that Denna does not expect it too much even though in Denna's heart it is other contents.

"Morning, Mom, Dad and Grandma." Denna sat with her face lit up.

The three people who were there looked at each other. They were astonished to see the youngest woman there.

"Denna, are you okay, son?"

"Yes, Mom, why?"

"Tumben, very cheerful. Did Dane just call you?"

Denna suddenly coughed her mother asked about Dane. "Nara, how are you? My daughter was surprised so." The father who loved his daughter was upset. Him

patting his daughter's back slowly.

"Thank you, Dad."

"Where is my fault? I was just asking if Dane called Denna because this morning your daughter looks so happy."

"Absolutely, am I happy to have been contacted by Dane?" Denna.

"So, wasn't it because of Dane? Wrong then mama. Mama guess because of mom's future daughter-in-law."

"Mama! Denna hasn't decided whether to marry Dane or not."

"If you don't accept it, you just call him, and if you need to send the ring to where he is now."

"Dad, that's his cruel name."

"Dad likes the cruel, indeed" replied Jaden briefly while devouring a meat stick made by his wife.

"Dad!" Nara patted her husband's arm. "Denna, Mama just made sure if you and Dane really don't have any feelings, and you also don't want to accept Dane's invitation to get married then, mama will introduce him to your friend's son."

"Ma, just later or anytime to discuss this matter. Dane's still coming home next week."

"Do you know that Dane's coming home next week?" Look at Nara suspiciously.

"Of course I know. Last night he called me. I'm going to the hospital, yeah." Denna said goodbye and then she walked towards the exit smiling to herself.

"He seems to be in love with someone again. I must prepare to release my beloved daughter for the second time."

Nara looked at Grandma Miranti and the two women smiled happily.

"You should be happy because we'll soon have two cute grandchildren." Nara stroked her husband's cheek. Jaden's face looked flat

Denna arrived at the hospital. While opening the door of the room where he used to gather with the other pediatricians on duty today. Denna saw that her best friend was already sitting there smiling, but not the smile of happiness that Denna saw, but the forced smile, and the puffy eyes on Diaz's face.

Denna walked slowly closer to her best friend. There is an unpleasant feeling that Denna felt when she saw the state of her best friend.

"Diaz, you-you."

"Denna!" The woman immediately hugged her best friend, and now her cries sounded louder.

"Diaz, what's wrong? Don't cry like this. It's not good to hear anything else." Denna tried to calm her best friend.

The door is opened by someone, Denna sees one of their friends enter and upon seeing Diaz crying, the male doctor permits politely to come out again.

"Why you?"

"I'm gonna cry first, Denna."

"Yes, you cry first." Denna hugged her best friend tightly.

Denna walked out of the room. He climbed upstairs and met his cute little patients.

Denna today is very happy because there are so many children whose condition has improved and he allowed to go home.

About an hour later Denna returned to the room, but she did not see Diaz, only her bag was there.

Denna came back out because she had to go to her practice room. There are already some Denna patients who have come waiting for treatment.

"Sus, do you know where Doctor Diaz is?"

"Doctor Diaz I saw upstairs in room B203."

"THE B203? There isn't just one patient left, Sita?"

"Yes, Doctor Diaz is seeing him."

The nurse went out to call Denna's next patient.

Hit shows the number twelve noon. Denna returned to the doctor's room. Denna did not see Diaz and the other doctors who had gone home, and some were still in their practice room.

"Diaz why is this? Why does he look so sad like that. I've never seen him like that before."

"Denna, you haven't come home yet?" Diaz walked slowly towards Denna's desk.

"I'm waiting for you, you've visited the nursery, right?" The woman nodded, she sat down beside Denna.

"Denna, can I stay at your house tonight?"

"Stay at my house? Did you say the same to Mas Rio?"

Diaz's best friend shook his head slowly. "No need to ask permission. He won't be looking for me either."

Denna's heart beat hard when she heard the words of her best friend. "Why isn't Rio going to look for you?"

"Denna, we go home now, I don't want to cry here anymore."

"Yes, we've just gone home, but stopped by the ice cream shop for a bit. I bought you chocolate ice cream." Diaz nodded slowly.

Denna's driving her car. His gaze occasionally glanced at his pensive friend looking outwards.

They stopped at a restaurant that sold good ice cream. Denna took Diaz down and ordered two cups of medium-sized ice cream.

"Enak, right?"

"Yes, my feelings are also dull. Thank you, Denna. You always know what I need."

At Denna's house, Diaz is warmly welcomed by the Denna family. Denna told me her best friend was staying there tonight. Of course Nara and grandma allowed happily.

"You're wearing my mama's pajamas, because if mine's too small."

"Yes, it's up to you."

Denna brought warm chocolate milk to her best friend so that tonight she can sleep well.

"Denna, can I sleep first? I'm so tired."

"Just sleep, but finish your warm chocolate milk so you can sleep well."

"Thank you, Denna." Diaz finished her chocolate milk then she covered her body with a blanket. Diaz slept on Denna's back.

Denna looked anxious and worried to see Diaz's current state. Denna also didn't want to ask why she was like this. Denna will wait until Diaz says it herself.

Denna chose to sit by the window of her room and look down. He again wished there was a Dane in there.
