Travelling Dimas

Nio thanked Denna for comforting him. Denna said that she was happy to meet Nio.

"Nio, now you rest for a while, huh? The doctor's aunt wanted to go out for a while to check on Nio's other friends who were also sick."

The little man nodded a few times. Denna slowly drew closer to Nio and she gently dyed the little man's forehead. Nio looks smiling got a kiss from Denna. Denna herself for some reason? She felt very sad to hear what Nio had told her.

"Denna, I'm sorry."

"Grandfather, there's no need to apologize to me because grandfather is not wrong with me at all."

"Thank you for being so kind to Nio, even though I've asked for things that are not going in will be the same as you. I really can't think very well."

"I understand what Grandpa wants. Grandfather was just an ordinary human being who had a limit of feelings.". Denna's hand rubbed Rayhan's grandfather's hand gently.

Not long after Denna's phone rang and it was from her mother. Denna's heart beats fast enough. She guessed that something was going on with her husband.

"Hello, what's wrong, Ma?"

"Denna, Dimas's condition is critical. You get here as soon as possible" Nara's voice sounded trembling and anxious.

"What's? Critical dimas? Yes, Ma, I'll be there soon."

"What's up, Denna?" grandpa Rayhan asked sounded worried.

"Critical, Cake, and I need to get to the hospital right away."

"Grandfather will take you there. Yaya, you please take care of Nio here. If there's anything, you call me right away."

Denna and Rayhan's grandfather go to the hospital to see Dimas. Inside Denna's car sitting at the back looked anxious, and Rayhan's grandfather who was also sitting at the back accompanied Denna clasped Denna's hand to relieve her anxiety.

Arriving at the hospital, they immediately headed to the room where Dimas was being treated. The doctor told Denna to come in because Dimas kept saying her name.

"Dimas is conscious?"

The doctor did not answer, he just told Denna to enter the room. Denna went in and saw Dimas with a hand holding his oxygen cover that had escaped from Dimas's nose. Dimas looked at the woman he loved with something on hold.

"Dimas!" Denna hugged her husband in tears.

"Den-na, I Love You." At once Denna heard a long tut sound from the monitor that had been showing the sound of Dimas' heartbeat.

Denna pulled her head looking at the face of her husband who closed her eyes with a smiling face.

"No, don't do this to me, Dimas. Don't leave me alone here, Dimas. Dimas...!" denna's screams made her family waiting outside look surprised and not long heard the sound of Denna's cries breaking filled the special room where Dimas was treated.

Nara who could already guess what happened with Dimas cried in Jaden's arms. Miranti's grandmother who was there also cried.

Everyone outside entered the room. Nara saw Denna crying loudly over her husband's body. Nara tried to hug her daughter who looked very devastated by what had just happened.

"Why did Dimas leave me, Ma? He said he would always be by my side to look after me and protect me, but why would he leave me?" Denna was crying with a stray.

The doctor who handled Dimas was also there and he explained that Dimas seemed to have chosen not to make his family sad by his circumstances. Dimas suddenly regained consciousness and removed his oxygen hose. It's like an unbelievable thing, but it happens.

"Darling, Dimas no longer felt pain. She's been quiet there, and I'm sure she'll always be with you even if you can't see her."

Denna was crying in her mother's arms. Jaden was devastated to see the deep sadness on the princess's face because she could do nothing to save her daughter-in-law.

Not long after the doctor came into the room where the Denna family was grieving the departure of Dimas.

"Grandfather Rayhan, I'd like to let you know if the Dane's situation is not good. Can Grandpa come with me now."

"What's? A dane?" The old grandfather's face instantly turned pale.

"Grandpa please come with me."

The old grandfather immediately walked out followed by uncle San who was also surprised to hear what the doctor said. Miranti, Jaden and Nara see each other. Do they think the two childhood friends are going to be together today?

In the doctor's office, they say that Dane's condition is really not good and that Dane will not be able to get through tomorrow if he doesn't get a heart donor right away.

"Then, where will I get a heart transplant that matches the current Dane?"

"Grandfather, we've also tried very hard so that Dane's life can be saved, but it seems like fate already has its own plan."

"I'm very serious, at least today no one is leaving because the loss of the person we love so much is painful, and Dane has to go home because Nio is waiting for his daddy to play." Denna immediately cried by closing her mouth so that her cries could not be heard in the other room.

The old grandfather immediately moved out of his place and hugged Denna tightly. "Grandfather doesn't know what to say to you, even a thank you isn't enough for you, son."

"Grandfather, there's nothing grandfather needs to do or say for me. Maybe Dimas wanted to leave because he wanted to fulfill his promise to his childhood friend, and God still wanted to see Nio grow up accompanied by his father."

Denna remembered what Nio had said to her. Nio says if his daddy doesn't come back and instead goes after his mommy to heaven, then he will ask his great-grandfather to take him to heaven and also meet his daddy and mommy.
