CHAPTER 467. COLLABORATIONS

‘I still love him as my brother and I will protect him but he does not do anything dangerous for me and my family. I don't like traitors the most, mommy!’ lirih Dante muttered in his heart. His feelings are not good let alone having to remember him not encouraging his sister but actually threatening her.

Dante's state of ignorance about federal plans is what makes him have to remain professional.

“Dante! I told you right from the start that I worked with you that I was a pretty trustworthy person! So you don't have to worry about it. And you better pay attention to yourself too because if you cheat on me, I'm not an easy person to let it go!”

Anthony uttered the same threat to Dante.

“I want to ask if your position is safe? What's your plan now?

“What do you see from the hill?” dante asked back instead of answering Anthony's question.

“It looks like there's another army! Is that Jeff Amadeo's army? My men have seen in the area they have prepared an attack and they are also hiding in the houses of the people and there are many snipers. What are they really planning? “They wear glasses that make them see clearly in the dark! But I'm sure this can get them distracted for a moment! And this was indeed his plan once he showed Bella's whereabouts, he would immediately leave that place.

Anthony wants to take Anna all the way until she is safe and will only come back to take care of Jeff but this is exactly the opposite of Dante's plan.

“Is there anything else you want to ask me about Dante?”

“Where else did you see their army? Is it just this hilly?”

“Yes, and also on board! But it's a little far away and I'm not too sure how many of them there are because I can't see it clearly. Surely on board there is also.”

‘Means as expected they may not take any other place except at sea and on this hill.’ Dante murmured in his heart to justify himself after hearing the explanation from Anthony. ‘Well, you can expect too! At least you can get the information I need right now.’ Dante is quite amazed and likes the way Anthony works that is not too much talk at the beginning.

“I ask my people to pay attention to that hill area! Give me information if they're moving there! Call me as soon as possible, you understand?”

“Huh? Alright Dante! And now what's the plan? Are you gonna come here or are you gonna do something?” ask Anthony again because he still doesn't know what Dante's plan is.

“Are you with Robert Kane now?” asked Dante who had been curious since then to know the whereabouts of the person he was looking for. He wants to know where Robert Kane is. He had to determine what to do after he got the information about the man.

“Ya done it then. I want to see your action later. We will continue our conversation later after everything is done!”

The phone connection was turned off before Anthony could speak again. So he just let out a long breath while putting his phone in his pants pocket.

“What's up? Is there any more problem?” ask Anna who is next to Anthony.

The man shook his head then glanced at the woman with the look of his eyes that returned wistfully. Honestly Anthony was feeling very depressed at the moment.

“You sure there's no problem Anthony? You're not covering anything up for me, are you? Like your failure?” the barrage of questions was asked by Anna who was feeling worried. Instead of answering Anna's question, Anthony returned the question to the woman next to him. “Are you ready?”

“I've been ready since. From this morning also I have told you that I am ready.”

“Means I'm not ready to let go! I was so worried about him, he helped me a lot and I kept putting him in danger. But he still continues to help me.” murmured Anthony in his heart.

He felt warmth and admiration in his heart at the woman who was looking at him. But all this time Anthony always understood that it was only as a concern from his best friend only. He never thought about anything else.

“Why again Anthony?” Anna glanced at him.

“Nothing. I'm just trying to make sure that all the plans go smoothly and I just want to make sure your security.”

“Hahahahah...you're this.” Anna laughed out loud.

“What's so funny that you laugh like that?” Anthony squinted his eyes.

“Anthony! One thing I must remind you, in this world no one is safe! Even if you are in a large fortress and no creature can touch you there but not necessarily you are safe in there.” the woman spoke with a smile.

He did not intend to patronize Anthony and neither did he intend to oppose the man.

“What do you mean?”

“All those people will surely die Anthony! Suppose in the fort there was a nine ritcher scale earthquake! What's gonna happen? Of course it will be buried with the pile of ruins of the fort, right? Do you still have a chance to escape when that happens? No!”

“You're right, Anna! I'm sorry to you because I always trouble you and put you in danger!” anthony's words came out of his lips without him looking at Anna.  He lowered his face and then turned his face towards the darkness of the night outside their car.

‘Why do I feel so heavy right now to take it off? Moreover, she became a woman who is now viewed by others as a woman who loved Jeff Amadeo? I'm not sincere if something happens to him. Anna.....I shouldn't have agreed to your stupid plan!’ Anthony felt a discomfort in his heart that he could not reveal to anyone.

“Already Anthony! Don't melt that way. Quickly tie my hands before I resign and leave this place! You don't waste any more time, we have to finish this mission.” Anna said making her friend smile.
