CHAPTER 429. AT THE TEMPORARY SHUTDOWN
Jeff was already at a loss for words unable to explain anything so he switched the conversation and tried to remind Barack of his orders so that Barack would no longer force him and find out about Gabriella.
Barack put his shoulder down, “Alright then you will excuse me but I will find out after tonight's attack is over and we win!”
Barack left Jeff with a smile on his face. While Jeff held back anger while clenching his hands staring at Barack who was getting farther away.
‘Before you can ask anything and find any information, I'll make sure you die tonight! I don't need you anymore if Dante dies!’
Jeff felt annoyed and anxious waiting for the person he now saw to be walking towards him. “Why have you been Manuel so long? I'm waiting here anxious!”
“Master look at Gabriella's bad condition so I took a long time to take care of it.”
“Quickly take it home lest all the research I have done be destroyed and in vain. Who did this to him?” ask Jeff with a huff.
“I don't know. But we have to hurry to still be able to save him. I'm afraid if it's a little late then the auto bomb will activate and his body will explode. It will derail all your research and hard work all this time Sir!” said Manuel.
“Really? Although it has been shutdown?”
“Gabriella is on shutdown for a while. This was to prevent his brain from thinking too far. But if his blood comes out too far and his heart rate weakens affecting the work of the brain then he will die soon in a matter of minutes.”
“Good. Come quickly bring!” jeff said that actually did not believe too much in Manuel's words.
"What do you think? Why are you silent, Mister?” asked Manuel to look at Jeff.

“Ya true. He will not feel pain until his blood runs out and he dies from lack of blood.” Manuel smile.

“I want to see the recording in his eyes.” said Jeff who made Manuel think of something to stop it because it would make Jeff know the truth.
“We have not yet inserted a recorder chip for his eyes Mr.”
“What? Why wasn't it done that time?”
“Master himself told me that you still want your brother as a human being not entirely a robot . If we put the chip in his eye and replace it with a machine then we have to kill him first. After that we can just replace it with an android then he will be fully a robot.” said Manuel explained.
“So that's how it works?”
“Iya. And when your sister is already an android robot then she will not feel pain anymore. You can control him completely while for his heart can be replaced with stable metal. After all the vital organs have been replaced, you can control them from wherever you are. Your sister will be a robot that will only obey all your commands.”
“I wouldn't do that to him. Because I want my brother to be half human and half robot! That's what I want to create and I want the whole world to bow to me. If this experiment on my brother is successful then I will be able to apply this program to any human being so that I can control the world!”
“That's why we don't have any footage of what happened to your brother except CCTV footage from the hotel.” said Manuel who managed to convince Jeff.
“Alright then now have them check the CCTV footage!”
Manuel nudged and contacted his men to check the CCTV even though the original data had been down by his men.
“Good! I wonder who would have dared to do this to my sister. What does that person really want to do? Why did he hurt my sister?” furious Jeff.
“Pacify yourself Sir. We'll soon find out what kind of bullet that guy used to shoot. I know your enemies have the hallmark of bullets so make it easier for us to find who did.”
“Good! That's what I want and whoever did it won't be free! I will eliminate him for acting bravely!” Jeff and Manuel have arrived where they're headed. “Have you prepared everything?”
“Already Sir. I've contacted the doctor who will perform the operation now. Doctor trust Master has come and waited inside.”
“Why not the first doctor to operate on my sister?” jeff looked at Manuel.
“The time is not enough Sir, he is out of town and it takes about two hours to get here. It is impossible to wait for him while Tuan's sister only has a few minutes to survive.”
The two enter Jeff's house and go straight to the room where the lab is located. Everything is complete like a hospital. All the advanced equipment filled the spacious room.
After Gabriella's stiff body is placed on the operating table, Jeff and Manuel come out to wait for Gabriella's surgery. An hour later, the lights in front of the door of the room went out indicating the operation was complete.
Manuel knocked on the door so they could go inside.
“How is my sister's condition?” jeff asked the doctor who was done with his job.
“The conditions are already more stable, Sir!”
"Is he talkable now?” ask the impatient Jeff.
“Do you want to talk to him?”
“Please Mr. Miss Gabriella is conscious now. You can already talk to him.” replied the doctor invited Jeff and Manuel.
“I just want to know who did this to her. Maybe my brother can tell me everything but the shot came from behind, it means he was walking or he was stopping when someone shot him from behind.” Jeff said making his hypothesis.
“But he probably saw the guy who shot him, right? Unless the person is wearing a mask so it is not easy to recognize. What do you think I said just now Manuel?” asked Jeff who looked at Manuel who was behind him.
“I think so Sir if you are sure like that.” replied Manuel.
“I'll see him now. He must still remember what happened and can tell me.”
Although Manuel was worried that Gabriella would open her mouth, he could not stop Jeff from seeing his sister. Her heart grew even more anxious after they were close to Gabriella.
‘Hopefully this crazy woman didn't say anything to Jeff!’ he murmured in the heart.
“How are you doing Gaby?”
“Jeff? I feel like I'm dead and I can't hear anything! I can't see, I don't even feel anything! I don't know what happened to me, my body froze and I woke up in this place. What's wrong with me?”
“Are you sure there's nothing you remember?”
Gabriella did not immediately answer her brother's words, she looked at Jeff for a moment while thinking about what he was going to say.
"I feel there is something important that I want to tell you.” Gabriella said still looking at Jeff seriously.
