Sir, Don't You Sick Me!

Sir, Don't You Sick Me!
Birendra Prakarsa Candrakumara

Birendra Prakarsa Candrakumara, a prince who is also one of Prince Kalandra's brothers who used to always mock me when they visited the Kingdom of Rosalia. I remember someone first apologizing for his treatment of me after Mr. Mahawira taught him a lesson.

"I'm sorry, Cornelia. I-I'm so sorry about what I did. As an apology, I will do anything for you" he said outside my room. I don't know the expression he showed at the time. However, from his tone of speech, he was very sorry.

Even so, the thing he and his brothers did was quite sad and traumatized me out of the room.

I clenched myself on the bed. It feels like just dying. I hate my ugly face, I hate my black skin.

This self asks, why was I born ugly? Could it be that I was banished by my biological parents? Because I'm ugly? I don't know. After all, I don't remember anything about the person who has given me birth to this world. I only remember Mr. Mahawira's father picking me up when he and his entourage had just returned from war.

"Cornelia! Please accept my apology. I don't want my actions to be a regret for my life."

After that, I heard his footsteps, the man walked away.

Since then, he and his two brothers have never been to the palace again. Mr. Mahawira never allowed them. However, their kingdom remained in alliance with the Kingdom of Rosalia.

------------------

"T-Mr ... Birendra?" lirihku seemed to not believe he would meet again with the long-haired man.

"Birendra is insolent ...." Mr. Mahawira growled, his hands clenched so hard.

"Mahawira, I've been following you since yesterday. After hearing the news that you escaped from the palace, I looked for you into the forest. Then, I saw Cornelia with you. Why did you bring the girl?" asked Mr. Birendra while looking at Mr. Mahawira with narrowed eyes.

"It's none of your business, Birendra! Get out of front of me before you chopped—"

"You remember not to make a fuss in this country? If you make a fuss, you'll lure the kings and princes of this land to find information about yourself."

I know Mr. Mahawira has no choice but to hold back the emotions that burn him.

Prince Birendra is getting closer to me. He caught my hand and said, "Cornelia, go with me and leave Mahawira!"

What's?! He asked me to leave the master I've served for a dozen years? It sucks that Birendra is this rancid. You think it's that easy for me to forgive you?

Seeing my hand held by Birendra, Mr. Mahawira seized it. "Bad! Men don't know themselves! You're the one who always demeans Cornelia! And now you—"

"Mahawira! That's the past. We should all forget that." Mr. Birendra will again take my hand from Mr. Mahawira's grasp, but deftly Mr. Mahawira pulls me to the end in his arms.

"I won't let it! Come on, let's go, Cornelia!" So straightforward Mr. Mahawira stepped up while holding my hand.

"Then I will report you to my father. He will find and arrest you. Just look at."

"I don't care! Do as you please!" shouted Mr. Mahawira as he continued to step up.

I occasionally allowed a glance at Mr. Birendra, giving him a signal not to actually report Mr. Mahawira to his father. I'm pretty sure that guy would never do that.

I can't avoid feeling happy, but I'm also very sorry that Mr. Mahawira will never be fated to unite with me. Anyway, I thought far ahead, it would be very bad for him. I don't want to take away my master's good life. He would be miserable if he lived with an ordinary girl like me.

Oh, dearGod. Please, give me the strength to cross this winding road.

"Don't you ever listen to what that rancid Birendra says." Mr. Mahawira opened his voice after quite a long silence on the way.

I replied with a nod.

"We'll find a place to stay. If I could, I'd also find a job to finance our needs."

Why do I feel so happy? I'm like someone who has become Mr. Mahawira's legal wife.

"Are you serious about what you say, sir?"

"words? Which one do you mean?"

Oh, geez. Was that how soon he forgot? He just asked me to be his life partner. And now he forgot about that important thing? Basic, man! All men are the same! It sucks!

"Why are you silent? I'm asking you. Which words do you mean?"

"No, Mister. Forgetit. Now we're looking for lodging and jobs for you."

We continued to step around the market, then entered the center of the crowd. May there be an inn that can accommodate us even though we have to work there.

When he found a large building, whose roof was made of straw, Mr. Mahawira asked me to wait. While the man went in to ask the owner of the place and all asked for a job.

Being quite tired of standing, I looked for a seat and found a staircase leading to the second-floor building.

"Finally, sit down too." I exhaled a sigh of relief.

"Why do you obey Mahawira even when he carries you in distress?" ask for a voice.

Birendra Prakarsa Candrakumara. The man was standing right in front of me.

"My answer is, Cornelia. Is it possible you—"

"Isn't that normal, sir? Prince Mahawira is the master of the servant, and the servant is obliged to serve him."

"But that doesn't mean you should get involved with his escape from the palace. It's a big deal, Cornelia. If the king gets angry, you'll be punished."

Mr. Birendra is sitting next to me. I gave him a little distance so as not to get too close to him.

"Sorry, Mr. Birendra. But, hamba—"

"Cornelia! Hey, I managed to get a worker .. an." Mr. Mahawira who just came out of the inn then lowered his voice because he saw again Mr. Birendra approaching me.

Mr. Mahawira pulled me right away. "What more do you want, Birendra?! I'm not gonna hand Cornelia over to you! You keep that!"

"alright. I'm not taking Cornelia with me, but let me at least come with you." The man stood up.

"What do you really want?"

"I just want to atone for my sins to Cornelia. All my treatment of him, I will pay off. For that, let me help you."

Mr. Mahawira huffed for a moment. It seems he was thinking. He looked at Mr. Birendra.

"As long as you promise not to do anything to Cornelia, I'll let you come with us."

Mr. Birendra nodded once, then said, "Yes. The easy thing. You can watch me at any time. After all, I don't really intend to report you to the king."

"Wantas? Meaning words?"

"It's just a joke. You even know me very well. I'm a person who doesn't care about other people's business."

Mr. Mahawira took a deep breath. "alright. You can come with."

Although Prince Birendra smiled, Mr. Mahawira had no intention of replying. Of course, it was due to an innate attitude.

"Cornelia, wait for me here. I'm gonna change clothes. I'll buy you clothes tomorrow. This I got from the innkeeper," said Mr. Mahawira. "Remember! Don't do anything to Cornelia!" he continued to remind Mr. Birendra.

Mr. Mahawira went up to the second floor of the inn.

"Do you know about a kingdom in this country?" Mr. Birendra opened the subject.

I shook my head slowly. "No. I don't know enough about this country."

"It is rumored that a dozen years ago, a princess disappeared from the Kingdom of Batalia. The location of the kingdom is in the west direction of the country."

"Disappeared? Why did it disappear?"

"Eitherway. I have heard from a merchant, said an adviser in the kingdom who took the princess away. Then, until now never came back," said the man with narrow eyes.

I just nodded my head to hear Mr. Birendra's words. It's pretty fun to listen to the story, because I also need information about everything in this country.

Not long after, I heard the footsteps of horses galloping with voices asking people to pull over from the street. Sounds like a riding troupe or a car, I don't know. However, after quite clearly sounding out, I stood up to make sure.

Right I guessed, the carriage of horses. Usually in a horse carriage whose back was fully covered it contained an important person. It may be a king, princess, prince, or minister.

As the party passed by where I was standing, one of the middle-aged men with a whisker and beard who had turned white, looked at me carefully while directing his horse to keep going.

I felt strange with that man's gaze. Has he ever seen me? Or is there something strange about me?

"Stop!" the man's orders with a thunderous voice. All the horse-drawn carriages stopped, including the lone horsemen.

The man came down from his white horse, then stepped towards me.

One meter in front of me, he stared.

He breathed deeply, then shouted, "Guards! Get this girl!"

I was surprised by her wide eyes. As if asking in my heart, what is my fault?

All the guards in red uniforms, carrying long swords, and shields moved closer towards me. Meanwhile, while Mr. Birendra was about to make a move, perhaps to help me, he was being held back by someone of great stature.

I shackled dozens of hands without being able to resist.

Mr. Mahawira, help me ....
