Mahawira spread his gaze around the land filled with green grass and hundreds of towering trees. He was surprised because he did not know where he was. Walking a step, the place was then filled with animals; rabbits, sheep, deer, elephants, and so on. Suddenly, Mahawira's heart was beating faster than ever.
She knew very well the feeling that enveloped her was the same as when Cornelia was on the side. Mahawira also guessed most likely around the beautiful place there is the existence of Cornelia. Mahawira quickly put his foot forward looking for the figure that his soul craved so much.
Far enough away Mahawira stepped, his ears caught the sound of water gushing from a height. Waterfall. Most likely Cornelia was there. That is why Mahawira immediately increases the speed of the step.
The man's breathing was breathless, his heart pounding even more. He stopped when he saw a woman in a white kimono and her hair braided by alternating looks so happy playing the water that hit.
Mahawira's lips formed a curve, his eyes sparkling as if finding someone who had been missed for hundreds of years. Unable to wait any longer, Mahawira stepped into the waterfall grounds.
“Cornelia,” call Mahawira in a very soft voice.
Although the sound of the waterfall is quite noisy, but the voice of the man is conveyed to the ears of the sweet girl. Cornelia turned her gaze, then pulled her hand and slowly stepped before Mahawira.
“Welcome to my world, Mr.” Cornelia welcomed Mahawira's arrival while smiling so shadyly.
Not waiting for long—because the heartbeat of the powerless Mahawira halau—withdrawal of Cornelia's hand, then hold it happily. The taste of haru wrapped the heart of the man to shed tears.
Cornelia understood what the man was feeling, then replied to his embrace no less tightly.
“I'm already here, Mr.”
“I miss, Cornelia. I miss you so much. Very, very much missed you. Why did you leave me alone?” mahawira said with tears falling.
“You must not cry, Sir. You are both a man and a prince. Aren't you ashamed to cry like that?” Cornelia tried to tease the man.
“I don't care, Cornelia. I don't care at all. The important thing ... the important thing is that I can meet you.”
The handling of Mahawira by Cornelia seemed to stroke a boy so as not to cry anymore.
“Are you that longed for me, Mister?”
“Very, Cornelia. I can't measure how deep I miss you. To be sure, time seems to stop when you are no longer adventuring with me. I see my own destruction when your smile can no longer be imagined. Everything's slowly disappearing, Cornelia. My eyes cannot capture all colors. Only you ... only you are the color that makes my life memorable.”
The girl was deeply moved by the expression of the prince's feelings. How not? Mahawira was always there for Cornelia even when she did not know the truth about her being a princess in the kingdom.
Long enough for the hug to last, Mahawira releases Cornelia and clears the remains of tears on both cheeks. After that, he caught the girl's hand, and took her to the tallest tree; Mahawira leaned there, and Cornelia fell asleep in her lap.
“I can't believe I'll ever see you again, Cornelia.”
The girl only replied to Mahawira with a big smile. Meanwhile, Mahawira stroked Cornelia's head, then went down to her face.
“I don't know why I can love you so much.”
“I've heard someone say, love doesn't need a reason, sir. We don't need a reason to love someone. I'm sure your love comes from sincerity. You don't see me from the face or anything. As you know, I'm just a waiter. But you always try to take care of me. Thank you, sir,” Cornelia explained as she closed her eyes.
“Cornelia, go home. I want to travel with you again. I want you—“
“I'm sorry, Sir. I don't want to enjoy the adventure with you anymore. I really want to get out of this world, but something does not allow me.” Cornelia took a deep breath. “Is my body okay, sir? Do you take care of me with all your heart? If I become a hindrance to you, you may leave me.”
“Cornelia. Love is the most beautiful gift of God, passed down to all living beings on earth without exception. Because God has entrusted that love to me, then I will always take care of it, fight for it, even if I have to die though.”
“No, Sir. Don't die for me. I don't want anything bad to happen to you—“
“Love is giving, Cornelia. Whatever is precious in my life, I will give it to you. Is God not like that? Does God give too much to man? God gives life to man, gives food, gives the world, gives everything, which means God loves us as human beings.
Someone once said to me, Cornelia. Love is the price of death. If I love my homeland, I will defend it. And so are you. My love for you is an inexorable price. I will always take care of you.”
While lowering the view from the sky so brightly decorated by various forms of clouds, Mahawira witnessed Cornelia's face was drenched in clear circles.
“C-Cornelia?! W-why are you crying? Did I hurt you?!” Mahawira looks panicked.
Cornelia shook her head, then smiled in tears. “I cried because of the sincerity of your love, Sir. Thank you for pouring everything into me.”
“Not something big, Darling.” Mahawira's hand slowly swept away the tears on the girl's face. “My sacrifice cannot yet be considered great if I have not been able to make us united in a marriage.”
The wind blows soft, soothing two people who are in love.
“The sun loves the universe so much, Cornelia. That was why he always gave his warmth and light. In fact it can be interpreted that the sun loves us very much.”
“I understand, Sir. I understand.” Cornelia wiped the clear grains that still wanted to fall from the net. He got up and faced Mahawira.
“Master. I'm sorry I haven't been able to come home with you. As an apology, can I give you something?” Cornelia looked embarrassed. Both of his cheeks were red, of course.
Mahawira nodded slowly. “Bby. I'll take it with pleasure.”
Even so, the man's face was impressed so melancholy. Of course it was because Cornelia had not been able to return home with him.
“Close both eyes Mr.”
After taking a deep breath, Mahawira closed his eyes. Meanwhile, Cornelia swallowed the saliva before finally peeping the prince's lips so warmly. The lips of two people are united in a bond of love that is given by God.
Pause for a moment, Cornelia said, “I love Mr.” very much
Mahawira opened her eyes with a tear that broke again, then straightforwardly grabbed Cornelia's lips until it pulverized with a full outpouring of longing.
I'm sorry, Mr ....
It's pitch-dark. There's no beautiful place, no animals, no sound of waterfalls, and no Cornelia. Mahawira opened her eyes while shouting out the name Cornelia. What Mahawira caught his eyes was just a moon hanging right in the middle of the horizon.
“It turns out I dream ...”
