"How dare you touch him! I'll chop you up! Hiyat!"
I saw Master Mahawira's face so angry at Prince Kalandra's treatment of me. I was so embarrassed and so confident. Am I worth that much to Mr Mahawira?
Oh, geez. I'm imagining again!
I saw the two men struggling with the fight. Prince Kalandra used his sword to slash Lord Mahawira. Whereas my master fighting the prince was so easy with only his bare hands.
I don't know why I was so happy to see the fight between the two men. They seem to be fighting over me.
Again, I was too confident!
"Hey! Stop, stop! Lord Mahawira! Stop that!" I shouted, but they certainly did not want to stop.
I saw Mr. Mahawira take his knife lying on the ground, then bite each other with the sword of Prince Kalandra.
"How dare you, Mahawira! What's the matter with you coming to this place?!" asked Prince Kalandra while throwing a kick at my master. However, Master Mahawira deftly dodged, then grabbed the prince's feet.
Throwing the prince like a light cotton swab by my master. Really tough guy. However, I can't let their fight continue until someone gets hurt. Really, I feel so guilty if it's like that.
"Cornelia! Go first! Let me teach this striped-nose guy a lesson!" yell master.
Suddenly Prince Kalandra stopped his assault on Mr. Mahawira. The man scrunched his forehead later.
"What's? What do you call Rosalina? Cornelia?" ask the prince full of questions.
"It's none of your business!"
"Hey, Mahavira! Do you think that beautiful girl named Rosalina is that ugly Cornelia?!"
"So your mouth, Kalandra! You never changed until this moment. Still arrogant and rancid!" Mr. Mahawira growled, casting a sharp glare at the prince.
The atmosphere grew hotter, enveloped by the burning anger from both sides.
Well, how's this? What am I supposed to do? I'll be caught lying by Prince Kalandra. But ... It is highly unlikely to ask Mr. Mahawira to lie and prevent that from happening.
"It turns out you're still defending that ugly girl, Mahawira. You know, she's the girl who ruined our friendship—"
"Kalandra, quiet! You've ruined our friendship. Because of your arrogant attitude that's why."
"Mahawira!" yelled Prince Kalandra while tightly clenching his hands.
"For you, Kalandra!"
Mr. Mahawira was ready to accept an attack from the prince. However, I bluntly ran into the middle of them. "STOP!"
I shrieked in a thunderous voice, making the two men instantly speechless and staring at me.
"You shouldn't fight like this." I turned my face towards Prince Kalandra. "Mr Kalandra. Sorry, I lied to you, sir. The real servant of Cornelia."
Prince Kalandra widened as if she could not believe what I said. "M-intention—"
"Yes, Sir. Cornelia's Servant. The girl you always say is ugly, black, ugly, and I don't know what else. Sorry, I lied to you, sir."
I bowed as respect and apology to the prince. Afterwards, I approached Master Mahawira, my true master.
"Mr Mahawira. Sorry, because it's been making you a hassle."
"Basic, you're a troublesome girl!"
"I'm sorry, sir."
"Yes, okay. Come on, let's get out of here. I'm sick of Kalandra's arrogant face."
Just a few meters away, Mr. Mahawira stopped and turned his head back towards the prince.
"Hey, Kalandra! Now you reflect on your mistakes! Someone you've taken for granted this ugly look has turned into a pretty girl."
Instantly I gasped. Mr. Mahawira just told me this is a pretty girl. Does that mean she recognizes my beauty?
Oh, dearGod. Why am I smiling like this?
"What's the matter, Cornelia? Why is your face red?"
I immediately withdrew from the delusion. "Hmm, sorry, sir. Come on, let's continue the journey."
We also left Prince Kalandra who was unmoved since a moment ago. I don't know, what I saw was a regret enveloping his gaze. Actually I don't care. What matters now is that I've been together with this very handsome master.
"Hey! Hurry on!"
Mr. Mahawira pulled my hand, then made me walk by his side. I swallowed the saliva, the heart skipped a beat.
-------------------
"By the way, sir. Who were the people who attacked us yesterday?" ask me while walking.
"Eitherway. I don't know and don't care. What matters is that you survived."
I do not understand the meaning of Mr. Mahawira. Does that mean he is more concerned with me than his life? Or am I just too confident?
"You smile again? Why?" Mr. Mahawira pulled me out of thoughts about him.
"That's okay, sir. I just remember something funny."
For hours we walked through the forest, tens of meters ahead and saw so many people. The horse carriage lined up neatly. People were busy carrying vegetables.
"We've reached the Wind Country market." Mr. Mahawira stopped his move when entering the market area.
I was amazed by the atmosphere of the market and the crowd. I see people bargaining with each other. The chariots were busy carrying passengers.
To be honest I have never seen such a market atmosphere in the Land of Wind. In fact, in our country there are also many markets, but very minimal with visitors. It's so different from what I see. A very lively atmosphere and harmony between traders and buyers.
The kreeeoook!
I scrunched my forehead when I heard the sound of hunger. I'm looking at Mr. Mahawira.
"What are you looking at me for?" he asked as if nothing had ever happened.
I know, that guy was just acting cool.
"I heard the sound of a hungry stomach, sir. Is that your stomach?"
"No. I'm not at all—"
Kreeooook!
Mr. Mahawira swallowed the saliva, then diverted his gaze in any direction. "It's not the sound of my stomach" he said indifferently.
I narrowed my eyes at my master, then immediately grabbed his hand to take the man to the eatery that was available in the market.
"Hey, where are you taking me?!" tanyanya tried to fight back, but I didn't care. After all, I am his servant, and must serve Lord Mahawira.
Seeing a place to eat, I also invite Mr. Mahawira into that place.
"Why are we here?"
"It has. Take it easy, sir" I replied. "I ordered the sweet potato, yeah."
The merchant nodded, then took some boiled sweet potatoes that had matured. It was on a plate.
"Please, Miss."
I took the boiled yam that had been prepared, and then led Mr. Mahawira to sit down.
"Come, now eat, sir." I put the boiled yam on the table while forcing the man to sit down.
I saw Mr. Mahawira swallow the saliva while looking at the boiled sweet potato which was still warm. The smoke plumes get into the nostrils.
"Will you pay for what this food is? I didn't even bring a penny."
"Master, just calm down. Now, enjoy the food."
"And you?"
"I'm full, sir. I ate."
"Where do you eat?"
"Prince Kalandra gave me fruits and drinks. So, I'm still full until now."
Mr. Mahawira frowned after hearing my explanation.
"Then you eat. I'll take care of it when I need to."
What's?! Master Mahawira will bribe me?!
I looked away because I felt my face flushed for the umpteenth time.
"Come, sit!" I pulled my hand by the man and made me sit next to him.
After peeling the boiled yam, Mr. Mahawira held it in front of my mouth and said, "Come, eat."
Our eyes are looking at. How ashamed of myself, but how could I possibly refuse that attention. Finally, I opened my mouth.
"Come and enjoy" he said.
The yam went into the mouth, I chewed it slowly while looking at the handsome face of my master.
Oh, dearGod. What was my dream last night?
Moving out of my mouth, the remaining yam, Mr. Mahawira put it in his mouth. And that was the most surprising thing to me.
I was really made speechless. Now, my face must be getting red.
"Why do you see me like that?" asked Mr. Mahawira who saw me glued to his face.
"U-us," I said slowly. My eyes are empty.
"I ate it. There's still another one left anyway."
"Not that, sir. But ...."
"But? What's?"
Oh, come on, Mr. Handsome. Are you pretending not to know? You intentionally prank an innocent girl like me? Of course, I'm not stupid. And I know yams are my lips, but you eat them too.
"T-t-no. Forget it!" my toilet took a look.
"Hmm, you want some more?" he said he was ready to bribe me.
"T-no. I'm full already."
I immediately got up and went to the old lady who was the owner of the dining hall.
"Mrs. I don't have any coins to pay for the food. If you don't mind, I'll pay by cleaning this place up" I offered.
The old woman exhaled a long breath. I know he must be disappointed to have ordered, but in the end I didn't have a penny.
"alright. You don't have to pay for the food. Let's just say I'm a charity."
"Y-right, Madam?"
"Yes, right. Anyway, I'm glad to see you and that guy. Reminds me of when I was younger with my husband."
"M-Sorry, Mistress. But ... he's not—"
"Oh, of course, Madam. We're a very lucky couple, aren't we?"
Suddenly a hand was on my shoulder. After turning his gaze to the left, it turned out that Mr. Mahawira. The man was embracing me, moreover his face was so close to mine.
I flinch at my master's treatment. What is the purpose of saying we are a couple?
No, no, no. I don't want to be played by this guy. Fuck up! You think I'm a cheap girl? Just plain!
Even so, I still could not refuse his words until I agreed with a nod to the merchant woman.
"Then, thank you very much" I said, bowing my head in gratitude.
"No need to be sad."
The sound of the skybug took my eyes off. The source is from the door that was kicked by someone. A group of people came into where I was. They carried spears and a circular shield.
"W-What's this?" my question is in my heart.
I saw the merchant woman surprised to see the creepy people who came berserk to her place.
"Where is the tribute for this week?!" ask a stranger who has just arrived.
The woman approached the man. "I'm sorry, today there's not a lot of slave trading, sir. So, I can't pay tribute to—
"It's none of our business! You have to pay!" he snapped at the man while kicking the table and chair. While others also made noise and ravaged the goods in that place.
I saw Master Mahawira's hand clenching so hard. I think I know what that means. Master Mahawira really could not see the weak people being oppressed. It also fosters feelings of wanting to interfere with the affairs of the woman.
As Mr. Mahawira made a move, I quickly grabbed his hand and shook his head as a gesture for him to undo his intentions.
After looking at me for a long time, the man stopped and took me out.
--------------------
"Why do you forbid me to fight bad guys like them?" asked Mr. Mahawira as we went around to find a stopover in the Land of Wind.
"I don't want Master's disguise exposed. After all, you want to live like an ordinary person, right? If you bring out your abilities in this country, people will be suspicious."
"So, so?
I nodded later. Mr. Mahawira stopped his steps and faced towards me.
He took a deep breath, and then began to speak. "Will you live a normal life with me in this country?"
"I mean Sir?"
Why am I so nervous, God?
"We are married and living happily with a few children."
My breath seemed to stop as Mr. Mahawira's words landed in my ear. It was unbelievable that those words were so pervasive in the depths of my heart, they rendered me helpless. My lips twitched, wanting to say "yes", but couldn't. Even to refuse I cannot.
What am I supposed to say?
"Just kid! I won't let it!"
Screeches from a distance made me and Mr. Mahawira look over.
"Go past my body, Mahawira!"
A long-haired man with a headband stood up while glaring a sharp glare at Master Mahawira.
"You ...."
