Sir, Don't You Sick Me!

Sir, Don't You Sick Me!
Thunder Dragon

In the days when war was still rampant between the kingdoms in the Land of Wind, one of the curly-haired princes led about two thousand troops from the Kingdom of Batalia. His name was Baltra Halilintar Suryajati. Baltra had a brother named Abirama who led a much smaller army than he did.

The Royal Battalion Army was divided into two and aimed at disabling the forces of other kingdoms such as the Kingdom of Malavia, Buanira, Sangkuna, and Tartarius. The four kingdoms were crippled in an instant by two princes from Batalia and managed to seize their fortresses and palaces to expand the territory of Batalia.

On the day of his return from war zones in two different kingdoms, Baltra met his father to give a report. While removing the metal headgear, Baltra faced the King of Batalia. He bent his knees before the already frail-looking man while bowing his head.

“Your Majesty, I have successfully conquered two kingdoms, namely Malavia and Buanira. Their territory eventually became the property of Batalia,” he said in a stern tone.

“Good, Baltra. You've grown into a valiant knight and prince. I appreciate your achievement. Now, say! What do you want from me as a gift?”

Baltra raised his head. Before he began to speak, Abirama came and bowed his knees next to Baltra and reported to the King of Batalia.

“Your Majesty! Servants have successfully conquered the kingdoms of Sangkuna and Tartarius. Plus, they are willing to become servants.”

Hearing the report from Abirama—his—Baltra looked at him with full investigation. There is an implied meaning of the gaze of Prince Baltra.

While smiling obliquely, Baltra said to Abirama, “Don't be proud just because your followers are growing. After all, the two kingdoms you conquered are much weaker than the ones I conquered.”

Abirama did not respond. He only gave a cynical look to his brother, then went back to face the King of Batalia.

“Good. You two are my tough boys. Now, tell me what do you want as a gift from me?”

“Your Majesty, I want to be given a wider territory than Abirama. In any case, I have defeated two kingdoms that have been in power for thousands of years in this country.”

Hearing the request of the child, the King of Batalia laughed out loud. While fixing the shiny golden crown perched on the head, the king opened his voice.

“My sons, you do not need to compete in terms of territorial struggles. It would be fatal if you did something like that. I will still divide the territory equally. Anyway, my love for you guys is just as great.”

Hearing the father's reply, Baltra's face became somewhat sour. He was disappointed, but not only that. There was an anger that immediately enveloped him.

Without saying anything more, Baltra took a few steps back, then rose up and left the throne room of the King of Batalia.

“Hamba will catch up with him—“

“No need, Abirama.”

“Good.”

The King of Batalia could only breathe a long breath looking at Baltra's childish behavior. Though, he was the eldest child, but only Abirama could resign with whatever decision was set.

After getting disappointed at the decision of the father, Baltra headed to a cave that had always been a place of solitude and expressed frustration. After that, he would definitely train much harder.

Baltra is a very hard man. From a small age, if he does not get what he wants, he can go on a rampage and destroy palace property. His habits are still being done until now. Before his wish is achieved, he will never stop trying to get it. Baltra is a man full of ambition, envious easily and does not want to be defeated by anyone.

“Fucking king!” swear Baltra while swinging his sword into the cave wall to create splashes of yellow. “Look at it! I'm gonna be strong and kill you, God damn it! I'll usurp your throne.”

As Baltra was being enveloped by a deep hatred for her father, the wind blew out of nowhere. Baltra gasped, but she was so curious that she chose to be quiet and stared at the black clouds mixed with lightning.

Outside the cave, the sky turned dark. Thunderstorms splashed nan glare, the wind whizzed. Not long ago, rain fell in the universe.

As the whistling wind in the cave dissipated, Baltra saw a dragon symbol on a piled stone. Baltra had never seen the symbol before. Curiosity dragged Baltra to find out more about the stone symbolized by dragons and lightning.

He moved his right hand by Baltra, then began to stroke the dragon emblem carved on a black stone that was the size of his body.

“What is this?”

The symbol lit up blue, making Baltra chuckle and jump back—keeping distance. A very heavy baritone sounded deafening to Baltra so he had to cover his ears if he wanted his eardrum not to explode. Baltra tried to get out of the cave, but the wind came back as if to encourage him to get closer to the rock that was still shining.

Unable to withstand the force of the wind, Baltra was blown away. He ended up on that rock. Seen back the blue light that increasingly dazzled his view. Quickly he banished that dazzling beam with his arm. However, shortly afterwards the stone exploded right in front of Baltra. One of the largest pieces of rock hit the man's face unconscious.

Heavy baritones still rang out in Baltra's ears despite only the darkness being captured netra; crispy twitching. It was obvious that Baltra became very confused watching the endless darkness.

“Where is this?!” shout Baltra.

“Build!”

Put simply, Baltra rose from the unconsciousness he experienced. Now, where the stone was originally located, Baltra saw an ancient book that was quite thick; it looked shabby, tanned.

“If you want power, then take the book. I promise you a very great power.” The same voice was heard.

“Who are you?!”

“I am a Thunder Dragon who lived in this cave for thousands of years.”

“Hah?! Are you kidding me?! You think I'll just trust you?!” Baltra was astonished in disdain as he rose to notice the shabby book lying down.

“Is there any guarantee I can trust you?”

Baltra seems to be getting hooked. He was tempted by the promised power of a voice claiming to be the Thunder Dragon.

“To prove it, hold the book with both hands. I will give you all my energy, then live in your body. Quick, do!”

Baltra. Trust began to seep into his head. If it was true that sound could give him great power, then it was exactly right. Baltra will be able to defeat anyone in the Land of Wind. He would be able to kill his extremely powerful father, then seize the Kingdom of Batalia by force.

“Good.”

With a very careful step, Baltra approached the book, then held it in both hands.

“Mana?! Are you playing—“

A flash of blue light grabbed Baltra very quickly. The man's mouth screamed. His eyes lit up blue, his body undergoing changes; he became bigger with muscles poking out and his veins looked very clear. Baltra was surrounded by lightning.

After the blue light slowly dissipated, Baltra fell unconscious. The book that he held in his hand mysteriously disappeared.

During the days of fainting, Baltra finally got up. He saw all the changes to his body, but what was much more important was that the energy he felt inside him was much greater. Baltra had not expected to gain such incredible strength from just a book.

“Now, I've been inside your body, Baltra. I'll tell you everything about who I am and what you will become after I give you strength.”

Baltra's gaze was sharp.

“My goal is to usurp the throne of King Batalia.”

Baltra stepped onto a large rock adjacent to the cave wall, then punched it with all his might to melt into small fragments.

Prince Baltra let out a crisp laugh as he brandished his fist upwards. “I will be the ruler in this country!”
