Paying Karma Love
71 Forgiveness of the Past (Part 1)

"Darling, let's take a shower. You have to drive me home to the apartment and get ready to go to the office" Audrey said, forcing Reiner out of bed.

"I'm so lazy to have to do it. I want to stay with you" replied Reiner, grabbing Audrey to fall back in his arms.

"Darling, Shane's gonna be fussy if we leave him for too long. You also have to think about Nicko's fate. He must have worked too hard as long as you were abroad" Audrey assured Reiner.

Reluctantly, Reiner stood up from his bed.

"Ready, my dear wife. I'm gonna take a shower."

After finishing bathing and getting dressed, Reiner and Audrey left the hotel where they were dating last night.

"Darling, we're not going back to the apartment. We're heading straight to our house right now" Reiner told Audrey.

"What about Shane and Bi Mila?"

"I told Nicko to take Shane and Bi Mila home. I think Shane would rather stay at home, than be locked up in an apartment."

"Rein, you're always full of preparation and surprises. I can't match your merits on this one," praised Audrey as admiring her husband.

"It must be what made you fall in love with me. You won't find another man like me" Reiner replied confidently.

Audrey smiled as she shook her head.

"Now you're overconfident, honey."

"But you like khan?" reiner Goda.

Reiner drove his car into their residential gate.

"I miss Shane. Hopefully Bi Mila has bathed Shane and given him milk" said Audrey missed her little baby.

"Just calm down, honey. Bi Mila must have taken good care of Shane. That's Shane" Reiner said, showing Shane sunbathing in the garden of their home with Bi Mila.

Audrey hurriedly got out of the car to see her beloved son.

"Here, Big Mom, baby."

Shane immediately smiled and jumped up when he saw his mother's face.

Reiner approached his wife and son, then kissed them affectionately.

"Shane, did you miss Papa too?" tanya Reiner looked at Shane's brightly shining round eyes.

"Aiiii..ee..hhhe.eh..eiii...aiii.." said Shane as he moved his tiny hands.

"Look, Rein, Shane is talking to you. He must have wanted to say that he misses his papa" Audrey replied as she handed Shane over to Reiner

Reiner carried Shane and asked him to speak.

"Hello Papa's handsome son, Papa, what a pity on Shane. Hmmm, honey, it looks like Shane looks more like me than you do" Reiner said, watching his son's face.

"Yes, maybe my genes aren't too strong so lose to you."

Reiner laughed at his wife's words.

"Honey, I'm sure that Shane will grow up later he will be judged by the women because of his good looks. He'll look just like me."

"I won't let you teach Shane a no-no, Rein. Even if he grows up to be a handsome and smart man, I will teach him to respect women. She mustn't play with a girl's feelings" Audrey answered widening her eyes to warn Reiner.

"Are you insinuating me? I'm going to teach Shane to love a woman who looks like her mother. I didn't expect, it turns out you can be fierce too, dear."

"And I'll be even more fierce if you don't go to the office right away" Audrey said, taking Shane from Reiner's sling.

"Papa, the right job. Bye bye Papa," Audrey moved Shane's hand.

"Yes, yes, I'm leaving. I'll be home at five in the afternoon so we can meet your parents soon" Reiner said, peeping at Audrey's forehead.

Before driving her car, Reiner again waved his hand towards Audrey and Shane.

Thank God, you've returned Reiner to me.

inner Audrey was happy.

...****************...

Audrey held back her laughter looking at Reiner's agitated face.

"Darling, don't taunt me. I'm really nervous. I'm afraid your parents won't accept me again as their daughter-in-law. Especially if they know what your mom did. It could be that they will ask you to leave me and match you up with another man" Reiner said worriedly.

"You're so adorable, honey. Where did you get such thoughts? Are you interested in watching drama series like me?" goda Audrey to relieve Reiner's anxiety.

Audrey clasped Reiner's hand.

"Mama and Papa are broad-minded and soft-hearted people. They wouldn't tell me to leave my husband alone. Trust me, everything's gonna be fine, Rein."

Audrey kissed Reiner's lips to give him some encouragement.

"Come, we're in, honey."

Reiner and Audrey walk into Mr. Jonathan's house, followed by Bi Mila holding Shane.

Ny's Face. Olin looked delighted when she saw her beloved granddaughter coming.

"Shane, Oma longs to see you. Here, Oma's carrying," said Mrs. Olin approached his grandson.

"Audrey, Reiner, come sit down" said Mr. Jonathan.

"How are you, Pa, Ma. Sorry after coming home from abroad, I just had time to come here," said Reiner was hesitant.

"Our news is good, Reiner. Papa's happy you're back to health and well. How long have you been on medication?"

"A little over a year, Pa. My foot therapy took a long time. At first the doctor was worried that I could not walk normally anymore."

"Thank God, Rein, your treatment worked. You don't have to be formal like this. We've known each other for a long time and now we're one family" Mr Jonathan said, noting Reiner's unusual attitude.

Mrs. Olin handed Shane over to Audrey and began speaking up.

"Rein, Mama wants to ask you something. Regarding the divorce papers you gave Audrey through a lawyer. Is it really the letter you made? Did you think about divorcing Audrey?"

"Sorry, Ma, the letter wasn't me who made it. When Audrey said it, I was shocked. I don't even know who Mr Abram Darusman is. I will never divorce Audrey because I love her so much" Reiner replied trying to convince her mother-in-law.

"Who made the letter?" ask Ny. Olin.

Reiner was silent for a moment before answering Ms.'s question. Olin.

Reiner's voice rang out as he revealed the true reality.

"I'm sorry, Ma, Pa. Actually my mother sent Mr. Abram to hand over the divorce papers to Audrey. Mama planned everything from the beginning with my name, so Audrey would sign the letter. Again I apologize on behalf of my mother."

"Valeria did it? I can't believe Valeria can turn out like this. I've known Valeria for a long time. She's a very kind woman. Why would he want to separate you and Audrey, even to the point of falsifying the divorce papers," asked Mr. Jonathan in disbelief.

"Mama didn't think, why did your mama hate Audrey so much. He used to force Audrey to leave you at the hospital. Now he's doing even worse. Mama is worried that she will disrupt your married life in the future" said Ms. Olin's worried.

"I make sure Mama's anxiety won't happen. I won't let my Mama bother Audrey and Shane. I once misunderstood Audrey, and my mom probably has the same idea. But I am sure, gradually my mother will realize her mistake. I promise to always protect and look after my wife and son, Ma."

"Good, Reiner. Mama trusts Audrey to you. You know Audrey suffered a lot during her pregnancy, because you weren't there. I hope you're always happy for Audrey."

"Yes, Ma. Thank you for forgiving my mistakes and my mother. I will try my best to correct the mistakes I made with Audrey" Reiner said regretfully.

"Rein, Papa understands the difficulty of your current position. In marriage, there are many problems and obstacles. But, if you love each other and still trust each other, any problem can definitely be solved together. Never mind, we don't talk about sad things anymore. We'd better have dinner," asked Mr. Jonathan to melt the atmosphere.

Audrey was moved to see Reiner's honest confession in front of her parents. She held her husband's hand tightly.

"Darling, are you relieved now?" audrey looked Reiner in the eye.

"My heart feels lighter, baby. I'm glad that your mom and dad will forgive me."

"You still need to do one more thing, Rein."

"What is that, honey?"

"I'm sorry, Mom and Dad, Rein. After all, they are your parents who have raised you and love you sincerely. They are also ordinary people who make mistakes sometimes. As children, our job is to make our parents happy. No matter how many mistakes they make, we must be ready to forgive them and accept them for who they are."

"But, I still need time to do that," Reiner replied hesitantly.

"Honey, forgiving faster is better. Don't let the wound stay in your heart for too long. We are now parents. Shouldn't we make a mistake later, we also want Shane to forgive us immediately? If you want, I'll accompany you to see your Mama and Papa tomorrow."

Reiner looked at his wife's beautiful and kind face.

"Darling, I'm so lucky to have a wife as good as you. All right, tomorrow we're going to my house. But if Mama's not being nice to you, I'll take you home right away."

"Yes, honey," said Audrey, happy to soften Reiner's heart.
