22 New Staff

This morning, Audrey calmed down because she didn't have to go into Reiner's room. He gets used to his new job in the morning so he can leave for the office faster. Audrey must be prepared because there is an additional responsibility that awaits her, namely educating a new staff.

Half-running, Audrey got into the still quiet elevator. But, Audrey did not realize that beside her there was a man who was also trying to enter along with her. Audrey's arm accidentally collided hard enough with the man's arm that both of them were shocked.

"Eits, miss be careful when you walk. It's only seven in the morning. Is someone chasing you, Miss?"

"Sorry, sir, I'm just in a hurry," Audrey replied apologizing to the man as she pressed the third floor button. Audrey glanced at the face of the man she was with in the elevator. It seemed that he had never seen the man in the office. Either he's from another division or one of the company's guests. From his appearance, the tall young man was quite handsome even very handsome. Even he is suitable if he becomes one of the famous boy band members. The man watched Audrey then developed his ignorant smile.

"Why Miss? Is Miss amazed by my good looks? Or maybe Miss accidentally bumped into me earlier?"

"I'm sorry, sir, you're mistaken. I just didn't notice that there was someone next to me."

"Classical reasons, Miss. I'm used to being approached by women because of my good looks. But at least I got excited this morning because Miss bumped into me."

Audrey just shook her head without answering. He did not expect any man to be so overconfident and not shy about praising himself in front of people he did not yet know.

The elevator door opened and Audrey immediately went out to the finance room. The man followed Audrey from behind.

"Wait, Miss. Is the finance division room right on this third floor," asked the man holding Audrey.

"Yes right, sir. What is there a need, sir? I also work in the finance department."

"Oh, then please take me to see Mr. Rizal, the finance manager. I have an appointment to meet him."

"Well, come with me now, please" said Audrey gesturing for the man to follow her into the finance room.

Some of the staff who had come, gave their greetings to Audrey.

"Good morning, Miss Audrey."

"Good morning, everyone," replied Audrey smilingly greeting her staff.

"So, your name is Audrey, miss. A pretty name as pretty as her person," said the man still developing his ignorant smile.

Audrey ignored the silly comment from the man. He just wants to quickly deliver the man to see Mr. Rizal, but unfortunately Mr. Rizal is still not in his room.

"Sir, I'm sorry what your name is, if Mr. Rizal has come I'll tell you right away," Audrey said, letting the man sit down.

Not yet the man replied, Mr. Rizal turned out to have come to them.

"August, Audrey."

"Morning, Mr. Rizal. It exists..."

"Oh, Tristan, you come in the morning. Welcome to the finance division."

"Good morning, sir. Thank you, I am happy to join here," said the man standing while shaking Mr. Rizal's hand.

"Audrey, this is Tristan, the staff who will replace Yudha in the receivables. Turns out you guys met first" Mr. Rizal said, introducing the man to Audrey.

"Tristan, this is Audrey, she's our supervisor. From today on Audrey will guide you until you understand your work."

"Thank you, sir, I'm lucky that Miss Audrey will guide me" Tristan said glancing at Audrey."

Oh my God, there's one more freak that I have to face every day.

thought Audrey sighed. Audrey did not expect the man who teased her since then was a new staff named Tristan.

"Audrey, please take Tristan to his desk and explain in detail what the jobdesk is."

"Well, sir," Audrey replied, inviting Tristan to follow her.

Tasya and Susan, who had just arrived, whispered to each other when they saw Tristan walking in tandem with Audrey.

"Tristan, this is Tasya's finance admin and Susan's tax department. Tasya, Susan, it's Tristan who will replace Yudha," said Audrey introducing them in turn.

"Hallo ladies, good morning introduce me to Tristan," Tristan shook the hands of the two girls as she blinked her eyes. Tasya and Susan returned Tristan's hand with a timid smile.

She really likes charm. Can a child like this work?

audrey thought she was surprised by Tristan's attitude.

"Mbak, where did Mr Rizal get such a handsome employee? Susan's heart is so racing" whispered Susan in Audrey's ear.

"Tristan is your table. Please sit down and try to turn on the laptop."

Tristan sat down to obey Audrey's orders and started turning on the laptop. But the laptop was protected with a password.

"Sorry, should I call Audrey, Miss Audrey or Ms Audrey?" ask Tristan.

"As far as you are. To be sure I'm older than you," Audrey answered lazily in response to Tristan's question.

"Okay, can I just call Audrey to be more familiar. Our age is not far away. Then Audrey, can you please help me type this laptop password. I don't know what the password is."

"Oh, yes, this laptop used to be used by Yudha so it still uses Yudha's password. I'll help you open the password for a moment."

Audrey stood to point her body near Tristan who was still sitting in front of the laptop. Audrey quickly typed in the password to open the laptop.

"Hmmm, very fragrant." said Tristan Iirih.

"Harum, what is fragrant?" audrey heard Tristan's words.

"I mean this room is very fragrant. I love it," Tristan replied expanding his smile. Audrey ignores Tristan's remarks and returns to concentrate on her task.

"Tristan, the laptop can be used. You can read the jobdesk first. Then try to learn the daily accounts receivable data that Yudha has made in this report folder. If there is any difficulty, you can ask me. I have to finish some work first."

"Well Mother Audrey I did as you ordered. I'll definitely need your help right away" Tristan replied casually. Audrey turned her body towards her own desk. He did not understand why Mr. Rizal was willing to accept a young playboy who is not serious like Tristan to work in the finance division.

At lunchtime, Audrey dropped last to the cafeteria. Audrey sees Tasya, Susan, Karin and the other female staff sitting together at a table. They were laughing listening to Tristan who was making a silly joke. The girls seemed comfortable and happy to pay attention to Tristan's every move, like fans swarming with his idol artists. Audrey chose to stay away from them and sat alone at the very end of the table. He did not want to be part of the madness that occurred to his female staff. However, Tristan who saw Audrey coming, suddenly stopped his joke and came to his superior. Without hesitation, Tristan sat right in front of Audrey while looking at Audrey's face up close.

"Jiang, Audrey's mother. Why sit here alone? Let's have lunch with us" Tristan said, inviting Audrey to his desk.

Audrey is reluctant to respond to Tristan's call.

"Sorry, Tristan, I'd rather eat quietly, not in the crowd. So you better go back to your desk. Tasya, Susan, and the others are waiting."

"I'm waiting for you too, Ms. Audrey. If you don't want to join, I'll accompany you here. My mom said it's not good a beautiful woman eats alone."

"It's up to you" Audrey said, drinking her juice. Tasya and Susan who saw Tristan with Audrey hurriedly approached them.

"Sir, let's sit with us. Tristan bought lunch today. Loss if Mbak does not follow," asked Tasya.

"You bought them all lunch?" ask Audrey to make sure.

"Right, Audrey's mom. Let's just say it's my thanksgiving because it's been accepted to work" Tristan replied casually.

"So, would Audrey please join us or would you rather eat alone with me?"

Hearing Tristan's choice, Audrey chose to join the women's table instead of having a meal with the playboy.

The study has not, has treated women this much.

Audrey does not really understand the behavior of Tristan who seems to like to waste money just to grab the attention of women.
