55 Two Love

"Darling, what exactly is this dinner?" audrey asked to see Reiner parked his car in a five-star hotel.

"You'll know later, honey. During the event, stay with me always" Reiner looked at Audrey with love.

Reiner helped Audrey out of her car and held her hand tightly.

In the hotel lobby, there were already several guests from the executive with their spouses who also attended the event. They were all directed by the hotel attendants to head straight to the ballroom.

Audrey was shocked as she read the row of flower bouquets attached in front of the ballroom.

"Rein, is this dinner for Oragon Group's business partner?"

"Yes, more precisely the introduction of their new CEO."

"Then why did you bring me here? I'm an employee of the Oragon Group, I shouldn't be on this show" Audrey said nervously.

"Darling, did you forget that you were my wife. My father is a business partner of Oragon Group. It means you and I deserve to be here. You are not present as a finance supervisor, but as Mrs Reiner Bratawijaya. Everyone will be amazed to see you" said Reiner to calm his wife.

Two of the invited attendants welcomed Reiner and Audrey. After writing her name in the guest book, Reiner invited Audrey into the ballroom. The photographer on duty, immediately took a photo of Reiner and Audrey who look very harmonious as a couple.

In the room, there are already many famous businessmen and executives who are chatting to talk about their business. But when they saw Reiner's arrival, they stopped his chat to greet the heir of the Bratawijaya family. A few young businessmen who came unaccompanied, seemed to notice Audrey with eyes full of admiration.

"Reiner, long time no see you. How are you and your dad?" ask a man with glasses who is thick. The man's friends also greeted Reiner in turn.

"Reiner, is this your girlfriend or your wife?" asked Mr. Andreas to observe Audrey.

"This is my wife, Om, Audrey Bratawijaya" Reiner said.

"Ow, so you're married? Why didn't your dad invite us all? Your wife is beautiful" praised Mr. Andreas.

"Our wedding ceremony is just for the family, Om. So don't invite anyone."

"Then tell your papa to have a reception, Reiner. Then invite all of us," continued one of Mr. Andreas' friends.

"Yes, Om Theo. I'll talk to Papa later. Sorry, Om, I have to see Mr. Mario first."

"Oh, yes, please, Reiner. Mr. Mario and his son are at the front desk" replied Mr. Theo indicating the whereabouts of Mr. Mario.

Audrey saw several guests crowding the table meant by Mr. Theo.

"Come, honey, it's time we congratulate you."

Reiner hugged Audrey from behind and invited her to meet Mr. Mario.

Did Reiner bring me here to meet Tristan? Then how am I supposed to deal with Tristan? I have to prevent the bad possibilities that could happen between Reiner and Tristan.

I thought Audrey was worried.

After approaching the table, Audrey could see Tristan standing next to her father. He was greeting the guests who congratulated him.

"Reiner, have you come? Where's Papa?" ask Mr. Mario to welcome Reiner.

"Night, Om Mario. My papa can't come today. I represent him" replied Reiner, greeting Mr. Mario's hand.

"Oh, yeah, Reiner this is Tristan, Om's second son. Tristan has officially replaced Om as the new CEO of Oragon Group."

Tristan was surprised to see Audrey who was beside Reiner. For a moment, the look in his eyes met Audrey's eyes.

Audrey...? Why are you here? Did Reiner Bratawijaya deliberately invite you to make me hurt. You're so pretty tonight. You should be by my side, not by Reiner's side.

With hesitation, Audrey received Tristan's helping hand.

"Night, Mr. Tristan," Audrey replied awkwardly.

Mr. Mario asks Reiner and Audrey to join their table, but Reiner refuses. He didn't want to give Tristan a chance to look at Audrey.

After giving an official speech as the CEO of Oragon Group on stage, Tristan sat back at his desk. He did not seem excited about the show. Tristan only turned his gaze to Audrey who was sitting with Reiner.

"Darling, what's wrong?" audrey asked to see the change in her husband's facial expression.

"Darling, I'll get you some food. After that we go straight home. I don't want Tristan Tirtawiguna to keep staring at you. If we stay here longer, I'll beat him up."

Audrey held Reiner's hand to calm him down.

"Rein, relax. Tristan is with his family, he doesn't have time to bother me."

"Just wait here, honey."

Audrey obeyed Reiner's orders and waited for her husband to get food. However, someone suddenly held Audrey's shoulder from behind, to the surprise of her.

"Sister, Audrey..."

"Bianca, are you here?" audrey looked back.

"Yes, Brother. I accompanied Papa to this event. Big sister is so beautiful, I was fascinated. The dress is also good. Where's the makeup sister?" tanya Bianca admires Audrey.

"Thank you, Bianca. Reiner picked out the dress and took me to the salon."

"Sir Rein, don't go home yet. The MC said as the closing ceremony there was a couple dance. We have to come."

"You're coming, Bianca. I'm going home with Audrey" Reiner said, rejecting Bianca's request.

"Sister Audrey, please persuade Brother Rein. I want to dance with Rein. May Khan, borrow Brother's husband for a moment?"

"Yes, Bianca. I can't dance. So, you can replace me for a little dance with Reiner. As long as you don't get too affectionate, I'll be jealous of you" Audrey replied with a smile.

"Ready brother, thank you."

Reiner looked unhappy at Audrey's reply.

"Dear, are you serious? I have to dance with Bianca?"

"Yes, Honey. Dance for a moment. I'll wait here."

Not yet finished the debate between them, the MC announced that the dance event was about to begin. Some of the lights in the ballroom were extinguished and replaced with dim lights. Music began to play.

"Please, Ladies and Gentlemen, as the closing ceremony tonight we're going to do a couple dance. Once again we are from Oragon Group on behalf of Mr. Mario, Mr. Tristan, and Mr. Kevin Tirtawiguna to thank you for all of you" said the MC from the stage.

Bianca immediately pulled Reiner's hand onto the dance floor.

The MC in charge noticed Tristan sitting quietly in his chair. Tristan was supposed to be the star of the dinner.

"Mr Tristan, you didn't bring a couple? You should still dance tonight as the Host. Or you want to dance with one of the guests here. Please mention it, sir," the MC said from the stage.

The MC approached Tristan and gave him his microphone. Tristan seemed to think for a moment and stood up from his chair.

"I'll take Mrs Audrey Bratawijaya to dance tonight" Tristan told guests.

Tristan walked over to Audrey who was sitting alone and extended her hand.

Reiner, who was forced to dance by Bianca, was shocked to see Tristan's bold act. He releases Bianca's hand to stop Tristan, but Bianca holds him back.

"Sir Rein, why are you so angry? Just let Audrey dance for a while with Mr. Tristan. Don't be so possessive with your wife. Audrey's sister also let me dance with Brother" Bianca said.

"Let's welcome Mrs Audrey Bratawijaya and Mr Tristan" MC said.

Audrey, who saw Tristan standing before her, did not know what to do. Meanwhile, the applause of the guests present, making Audrey forced to accept Tristan's helping hand.
