21 Maid Wife (Part 2)

"Sir, I go home first, the taxi I ordered has come," Audrey said goodbye to Mr. Rizal.

"Okay, Audrey be careful. See you tomorrow." Mr. Rizal felt a little astonished to see Audrey rushing home before six in the afternoon. Usually the girl comes home last compared to other finance staff. His supervisor's attitude has changed a lot lately, but Mr. Rizal does not mind it as long as Audrey's performance remains good.

In the taxi, Audrey was agitated to see the crowded streets at the time of the office. He was afraid he would be late to the apartment. Moreover, he had yet to prepare the dinner requested by Reiner.

The first place the girl went to was the kitchen. He checked the contents of the refrigerator and kitchen set that was full of fresh food. There is also warm rice that is available in the rice cooker. It must have been Nicko who had sent Bi Mila to this apartment. This time Audrey was eager to thank him for even hugging the cold assistant, for saving her in a difficult time. Deftly, Audrey began preparing the ingredients to make grilled chicken and salad according to the menu that Nicko had scheduled today. "Wait here and get my clothes ready" Reiner said as he walked into the bathroom.

Audrey seemed confused choosing among the so many Reiner clothes. Many times, Audrey changed her choice out of doubt. Finally, he decided to pick up the black t-shirt on the top shelf. Because her height could not reach the shelf, Audrey was forced to tiptoe with both feet. Unfortunately, his efforts have not yet yielded results. Audrey tries to find a way and tries to tiptoe higher, but the girl instead stumbles and loses her balance. Audrey's body almost fell backward, if only Reiner's hand hadn't caught her in time. The close distance between the two, made Audrey able to smell the fragrant aroma of the bath soap that Reiner was wearing. Audrey hurriedly woke up from Reiner's arms because she felt awkward being close to the man. Somehow the charm of Reiner actually increases with his hair that is still wet mess combined with the bath pajamas he wears.

"Reverse your body, I want to change. Don't try to peek or profit from me."

Who wants to peek at him? Is he not the one who took advantage of me?

inner Audrey grumbled.

"Why are you there? Let's get dinner ready?" reiner's orders plucked his finger on Audrey's forehead. Although the flick of a finger that Reiner made did not hurt too much, it was enough to make Audrey surprised.

"Well, sir, dinner's ready for you." Audrey followed Reiner from behind while still rubbing his forehead. He had no idea why his gentle and kind friend Sofia could love such an arrogant man like Reiner.

As usual, Audrey was in charge of tasting her own made dishes before being served to Reiner. During the dinner, Audrey chooses to be quiet. "Audrey, if your work in the kitchen is done, come with me to the room."

"Master..., Mr. Reiner, sir.." Audrey called Reiner to see if he was actually asleep. Since Reiner did not reply, Audrey thought he had fallen asleep soundly. Audrey slowly removed her hand from Reiner's leg and intended to leave the room without making a sound. But unexpectedly, Reiner's hand pulled him so hard that Audrey fell right over Reiner's chest.

"Where are you going secretly? Did I say your job is done?" reiner squinted his eyes.

"Sorry, sir, I thought you were asleep."

"Listen, don't you dare leave your unfinished duty without my permission." Reiner's whisper in Audrey's ear frightened the girl.

Audrey forced herself to stand up to escape Reiner's hand.

"Ma.af, Sir.I will massage your legs again," Audrey replied stammeringly.

"No, you made a mistake today. Tomorrow I'll double your work. Get my clothes ready for tomorrow. I don't want you to come into my room early in the morning and disturb my sleep. Do it quickly and get the hell out of here."

"Okay, sir, thank you."

Without wasting a long time, Audrey picked up the gray suit and shirt she first saw in Reiner's closet. Audrey was relieved when she saw Reiner lying down and closed her eyes. Finally he was able to break free from Reiner and rest tonight. Despite tomorrow and the day after, Audrey has no idea what plans Reiner will make to avenge himself.
