Arka re-entered Hendra's room. He felt confused because he had disappointed his father-in-law. The arka that became his trust and pride in-laws had now disappointed him.

'Whatever the risk, I will accept for disappointing papa' Inner Arka.

Not wanting to think any longer, Arka contacted her father-in-law.

"Assalamualaikum pa" Sapa Arka when his call has been connected.

Mr. Hendra gave a random question, Arka had not had time to answer it, Mr. Hendra actually gave a compliment. Because Mr. Hendra did not know what happened during the meeting.

"Today papa can't seem to go back to the office. Because there is still a meeting in Bandung. This is all papa is still on his way there. What's up, is there anything you want to say?" Mr. Hendra felt there was something strange about the way Arka spoke.

"Hmm yes pa. It's an important matter. We better talk in person. It's not good to talk on the phone"

"Does this have anything to do with the meeting?" Mr. Hendra tried to guess what had happened.

"Let's talk after papa comes back from Bandung"

"Okay pa, Assalamualaikum "

Arka ended her phone call shortly after Hendra answered her greeting. Look at the clock on the phone screen. It's almost three in the afternoon. It's too soon if he comes home now. This is not a good example for other employees. Although Arka is not a permanent worker in this office.

Once in his mind again, there was nothing he did again in this office, his task was done despite ending with disappointing results. Arka immediately packed up and prepared to go home.

Seeing Arka out of the room, Santi immediately approached her.

"Sir, where are you going?" Ask Santi

"Go home" He answered briefly

"Sir, I have something to talk to Arka"

"Speak" Arka turned her eyes away.

"It's not good to talk while standing like this, sir. How about we talk while having coffee in the cafeteria?" Santi made a clear offer that Arka would reject.

"I can't, I don't have much time. Just talk here, if you feel any objection, I'd better go home soon" Arka began to be annoyed with Santi's behavior that always measures time.

"Don't go home, sir. All right sir, I'll talk here. I want to ask you about the cooperation contract, Why did Mr. Arka cancel his cooperation contract?"

Arka knitted her brows. But he refused to answer Santi's question honestly.

"Pak Arka knows that Mr. Hendra is very hopeful that he can work with Ms. Sarah. If the cooperation fails, Mr. Hendra will be very angry sir. And this will have an impact on his subordinates, including me. Mr. Hendra will assume that we cannot work well. We could be fired sir"

Now the look on Santi's face looks clear. He was afraid of losing his job.

"You take it easy, I'll take the risk. No employee will be fired for failing to work with Ms. Sarah. I can guarantee that"

Arka tries to give Santi peace, not because he is interested in Santi, but more to his sense of responsibility for making mistakes, which will affect others.

Arka immediately left the office owned by her father-in-law heading home.

Meanwhile, somewhere else, Sarah has contacted Hendra. Sarah told Mr. Hendra that he was the one who broke off the cooperation relationship. Not only that Sarah also told the incident last afternoon but with a different story. Sarah said that Arka had committed immoral acts.

Initially, Mr. Hendra only thought the failure of cooperation because the work factor of his subordinates was less than the maximum. Sarah has cancelled the cooperation. But after Sarah told me and dropped Arka's good name, Mr. Hendra believed what Sarah said was not true.

"If Mr. Hendra still deigns to continue cooperation with me, I ask respectfully that Mr. Hendra fire Arka. Because I don't like Mr. Hendra's employee"

That's Sarah's request to Mr. Hendra when connected by phone.

"I can't fire Arka. Without asking, I knew what you were saying was not true. I trust Arka. He is not only a messenger, but he is my son-in-law who will continue all my efforts"

Mr. Hendra's answer surprised Sarah. How not, Sarah thought Arka was only a trusted man. But it turns out Arka is the daughter-in-law who will inherit all the efforts of Mr. Hendra.

Mr. Hendra was curious about what had happened when Arka and Sarah were meeting. Mr. Hendra took his cell phone specifically to monitor the cctv in his office.

Mr. Hendra turned around at eleven o'clock in the afternoon there was no suspicious incident. Mr. Hendra heard Sarah's words asking Arka to continue the meeting only two.

The cctv recording was skipped for some time until Arka and Sarah were seen together in the meeting room.

Mr. Hendra's guess is right. Arka couldn't have done anything bad. Play the cctv recording until it's done. A wide smile adorned his lips. It turns out Arka was willing to sacrifice big things to stay loyal to her daughter.

Mr. Hendra is not angry if Arka refuses to cooperate with Sarah. Instead, he will be angry if Arka agrees to Sarah's request.

Caca had been calling her name repeatedly but was not heard.

"Why am I okay?" Arka tried to act ordinary. But the nervousness is clear.

"You have a problem what the hell, I've noticed you're like there's a problem. Try my story"

Arka's massaging her temples.

Buk Mar who from the direction of the living room approached them.

Arka and Caca immediately got up to go to Pak Hendra.

Mr. Hendra held Caca captive when he was about to leave.

Caca sat down next to Arka. Buk Mar came to bring a drink for the three of them.

"How was the meeting this afternoon?" Without further ado, Hendra asked Arka directly.

"Pa, I was sorry earlier. The cooperation that you want fails. Because Miss Sarah won't sign the contract. It is my fault, I am ready to accept the consequences. But I ask that papa not fire the employees involved for the submission of this contract. They have worked to the maximum. But I've ruined it"

Arka said at length. I hope his mistakes are forgiven.

"So Miss Sarah called papa. He said he had cut off cooperation and would not cooperate again. He said because you've done immoral acts against Ms. Sarah"

"Then he asked Papa not to hire you again. This partnership will be resumed"

Mr. Hendra still continues his words.

Caca was crying hysterically, she kept beating Arka. My arc was facing Caca who had gone berserk. While Mr. Hendra was just silent with his leisure. Like watching a romance drama.

Caca who was crying hysterically stopped when she heard her papa's words.

"I mean papa?" Arka and Caca simultaneously asked.

"Well, you know that you're not going to do anything like Sarah said. Papa also has strong evidence of cctv. But without cctv papa will still believe in you"

"So papa..." Arka hung her words.

"Papa believes in you. Papa is not angry that you refused this cooperation. Papa will be angry if you agree to what Sarah asks. It's not wrong papa made you a son-in-law"

Mr. Hendra advised his son. In the future, Caca will be more careful when receiving news.

Caca nodded in understanding and she also apologized to her husband. Because it has been bad to think without hearing the explanation first.
