Patience of My Husband

Patience of My Husband
-

After lunch Arka drove me home to the hotel while Arka returned to the office to finish her work. It's still on Arka's face that she's holding back my resentment.

Arriving at the hotel room I immediately took a shower and laid my body on the bed. It feels so comfortable. I just left for a while, but my body felt so exhausted.

The voices of the television are heard. I realized, it turns out I overslept because I felt exhausted. I immediately sat down and saw Arka who was sitting in front of the television watching the news show.

"Darling, are you home?" My toot.

"Heem" he answered only with Deheman.

I immediately moved and moved my legs closer to Arka. I sat on his lap.

"So I fell asleep. Maybe because of fatigue" I said. But Arka did not respond at all. His eyes remained focused facing the television.

"Darling" I said spoiled.

"Heem" Again Arka replied with deheman.

"You're home but why don't you wake me up anyway. Usually if I go to sleep you like to seduce me" I keep wriggling spoiled in his arms. But Arka didn't respond to me at all. Usually if I behave like this, Arka will be very aggressive to reply. But maybe this time he's tired of work.

"Darling, you're tired of coming home from work. I want no massage. I can get you." I kept seducing her so she could change her attitude. But my efforts are in vain. Arka is still the same as me.

"Why the hell, if there's a problem in the office don't take it home. He said daritadi diem aja. There was no response at all. Don't you like it when I'm still sleeping when you get home from work. You yourself said do whatever I want. But now you're like gini. What the hell do you want?" Omelku with a slightly raised tone.

"Why are you angry. I never bothered if you slept when I got home from work. Besides, even if I have a problem in the office, I never bring the problem home" Arka said in her usual tone of voice. Not comparable to my raised voice.

"If you don't have a problem then why do you think you are?" My toot.

"I don't like it when I have a rival" I'm surprised to hear what he says. Immediately I fell silent, thinking about his words. Rivals, what Arka meant by rivals...

"What do you mean?" Ask again.

"No more asking what I mean. Now I'm asking you, what do you mean until you keep the number of the taxi driver you said he'd take you wherever you were going. I'm sure he was just good at the beginning. He'll have bad intentions with you." Grumpily Arka but with a flat voice, Tidka rose up altogether. It was just that his tone sounded annoyed.

"Oh, the cab driver." I smiled, my emotions instantly vanished hearing his explanation.

Arka looked at me sharply "Why are you even smiling like that?" Her speech.

"You can't smile. I remember that taxi driver. Because of him you're jealous" I said.

"I'm not jealous, I just don't like it" Arka tried to dodge.

"That's it. Let's go eat. I'm hungry, but I'll pick the place" take me. I ignored Arka who was just silently sculpting it.

I took my phone to call the taxi driver. Because Arka and I want to eat outside the hotel. Actually that's not my intention. It's just that I want to show Arka the real taxi driver. I couldn't bear to see his ridiculous behavior that was silent in a thousand languages.

"We're not going out, we're just eating here." Arka.

"If you want to eat here, it's up to you. If so, let me go myself. Because there's no way I'm canceling my taxi order." I said to Arka. Arka was stuck, so she couldn't talk anymore. So I don't want him to come with me.

In my heart, I laughed to myself to see it that was just a frown. I wear clothes that are quite casual but fit on my body. Wearing a hotpant and a thin white shirt top. So it looks translucent the color of the bra I wear.

"Change the clothes with the others." Tegur Arka saw me so.

"Then yuk ah departed" I took Arka's hand. With a compulsion to obey me.

In the elevator we were silent to each other, I stood a bit away from Arka. As I looked towards him, our eyes clashed. Turns out Arka was watching me.

"Ngapain saw it like that. Watch his eyeballs jump" my God. But there was no answer from him. Arka's eyes kept looking at me sharply which made me misbehave. I looked up at him because I didn't want to see him.

As soon as the elevator opened I stepped out. Arka followed me from behind. I stopped my steps when I got to the hotel lobby. I looked for the figure of the taxi driver's father but I could not find him. Maybe he hasn't arrived yet.

"Darling, sit here first. Maybe the driver hasn't reached "I'm pulling Arka's hand to sit in the chair next to me. Stay with his indifference, but still obey my words.

A few minutes later my phone rang. I saw the name on the screen, it was the father of the taxi driver. Immediately I picked up it turned out to be true that the driver's father had just arrived and was now in the parking area.

"Darling, the taxi was waiting. Come" Invite me. With a lazy step Arka still obeyed what I asked. But this time me and Arka walked a considerable distance. I'll see the cab driver soon.

I talked to the father for a while. And I saw Arka walking very slowly with both hands that she put in her pants pocket.

"Darling, sneak here" I waved my hand at him. Very casually Arka approached me. The driver got out of the taxi. With a friendly smile, the driver greeted Arka as he approached. Arka's face immediately changed when he saw the driver.

"Honey, this is a driver I said was ready to take me anywhere I went. That's why I keep this father's number" I said.

"Inadvertently, I also want to know, you are jealous of what not. And it turns out you're jealous" I laughed

"You are yes..." Instantly Arka hugged me tightly and kissed my forehead for a long time. She whispered "However I wouldn't be willing if there's a guy who makes you comfortable besides me"

After a few seconds of hugging each other, I let go of my arms "We continue later, now we find food first" I said.

Arka immediately took off her embrace and opened the taxi door for me. The driver got in and sat behind the wheel. And a taxi was immediately drove down the streets of Surabaya.

"Darling, have you been to Surabaya?" Tanya Arka broke the silence.

"A few times. Last time was a year ago" I replied.

"Papa's sama?" Ask Arka again. I looked towards Arka. Arka looked at me. I shook my head. "Not papa, but the same Farhan" I answered softly. It is hard to say that name. I don't know, because I've lost my race to him, or maybe because I keep Arka's feelings.

"Farhan's? Your ex?"

I nod my head "Yes"

"You haven't told me about her before, don't you want to share my story with me?"

"Make what, he and I are done. So there's nothing more to share or tell" I replied a little upset.

"Darling, if you have something you want to tell me, whatever I'm willing to listen to. Especially about your past."

"It doesn't need to be discussed anymore. If you keep talking about it, we better go back to the hotel, because I've no appetite for dinner" I said annoyed.

Arka was silent, and so was I. Though silent to each other, Arka's hand held tightly to my hand. "I'm sorry" he said softly. My mouth refused to answer. My eyes kept glaring far outside the window.

Arka's hand that was originally tightly grasping my hand moved gently rubbed my head.

"Neng, sorry. So the red bridge is not neng." Ask the driver.

"No need sir. Just find somewhere else." My speech.

"If you don't want to eat, we go back to the hotel" Arka said.

"Do not have much to say. If you want to go back to the hotel, go down there. Let me go myself" I said with a ketus.

"That's not what I meant, baby. You said you had no appetite. We're back to it." Say Arka again.

I just remembered that I was the one talking like that. Oh my God why my brain is so fucked up. It's really shameful. Even so I still tried to cover up my shame with my frustration. Fortunately Arka type patient man. If the type of guy who is stubborn, maybe my head was bumped in the jedotin to the car door.

"Neng, it has arrived" said the driver.

"Yes sir" I saw around the diner, the place was clean and tidy. Pinter also a driver nyari comfortable place to eat according to my taste.

"Father just eat the same as us in the pack" said Arka before getting off the taxi.

"Ooh.. Ndak. Father is still full. I ate with the kids at home" Rejected the driver with his trademark laugh showing wrinkles on his cheeks.

"If so, drink it sir" Tawar Arka again.

"Mr just wait here. Later you can coffee in the shop there" Mr. driver pointed with his finger towards the street food stall five feet.

"Yes, if you don't want to. This sir to coffee there" Arka gave a piece of money fifty thousands .

"No need, this is the money for coffee." Again the driver's father refused the kindness of Arka.

"If so, I accompany you there"

The father was wrong. "Don't, if so I accept the money. But don't go with the coffee guy there. Pity the Eneng will sulk again" said the father.

I just grimaced. Arka smiled because the money was finally received. Then Arka and I went into the diner, ordered some food for Arka. I only ordered lemon tea. Besides the loss of appetite, but also because it was too late for me to do dinner.

"Don't want to eat?" Ask Arka.

"See what time it is" I replied.

"Well, I ate alone" Arka stuffed food into her mouth voraciously. Maybe he was hungry or maybe because of the good food, only he knew.
