The woman screamed in anger. Bian stretched out his right hand and cast a spell. The woman looked at Bian sharply.

The woman was still staring at Bian silently while Karen was still sitting in fear on the ground. There was a growling sound. Adrian and Austin's wolves ran and jumped at the woman. They tried to pounce on the woman. But the woman was like she was made of smoke, unable to be touched. Over and over Adrian and Austin tried but the woman was untouchable.

"You won't be able to touch it. He's not a living being, he's just a shadow, like a spirit" Bian said. Adrian and Austin stopped trying while the woman laughed.

The woman laughed even louder than before and turned into thick smoke then disappeared. Bian sighed then walked over to Karen who was still sitting on the ground.

"What are you... All right?" asked Bian who had squatted so that his body was aligned with Karen. Karen did not reply, just silent and looking pensive.

"What was that thing?" ask Adrian.

"The creature is called Layath. She's smoke-shaped like that and can't be killed" Kate said.

"Then.. What's he gonna do here?"

"Kate." Bian cut Kate's words. Bian looked at Kate and shook his head. Kate nodded. "Karen, are you okay?"

"Luna." Adrian came to Karen. "Luna's.. Is Karen Luna okay? Does luna need to heal luna? Uhm.. I mean..." Adrian seemed confused by his own words.

"Is anyone hurt?" ask Bian again.

"I'm good." replied Karen briefly and then stood up. Karen cleaned her dirty jeans as a result of sitting on the ground. He walked away but just two steps away, he turned around again and looked at Bian.

"What did you tell him? On that creature? You seem to know what he's saying?" ask Karen to Bian.

"I don't" said Kei flatly. Bian laughed again. "And you, what are you doing here?"

"Oh, I forgot." Bian stopped his laughter. "I want to talk to you."

"With me? Why not Zach?"

"With you Kei, after all Zach has to look at Karen's situation."

"What's wrong with her?" ask Zach.

"Go see him. I'm sure he's still in shock. Tranquilize him. Adrian and Austin will explain" Bian said. Zach was standing still. Aaron looked at Zach in wonder.

"alright. Are you still going to be here?" ask Zach to Bian.

"Then... What are you going to talk to me about?" ask Kei after Zach. Bian made something bubble-like around him and Kei and Ian.

"Who are we avoiding?" ask Kei.
