Zach walks with Aaron. They have changed their form into human beings.

"How old are you, Aaron?" ask Zach.

"Uhm.. Fifteen years of alpha." Aaron replied.

"No, no. If you are alone or not in an official state, don't call me alpha. That's very... Bothers me." said Zach.

"But... In my previous pack, we gamma and omegas were forbidden to name alpha and even look at it" Aaron said.

"Aaron, you're not a member of your old pack anymore. You're a member of my pack now, you bet me, not a gamma."

"But I... L am... I don't deserve to be beta, alpha." Aaron stopped his steps. "I'm just the lowest gamma in my pack. Make me the lowest gamma too, don't beta. That's too high for me. I don't think I can be beta."

"Oh yes, you are capable" said Kei who was already with them. Zach and Aaron looked. "You can be beta, because you're destined to be beta."

"No, i..."

"Be sure of yourself" Kei said again.

"I'm sorry but you.. Who?" ask Aaron.

"My name is Kei, nice to meet you..."

"Aaron, Aaron Wyatt."

Kei reached out his hand and was greeted by Aaron.

"He was the king of Lycanthrope" said Zach.

"Ra-king?" asked Aaron in surprise. "The king of Lycanthrope who had the monster Lycan?"

"Mosnter Lycan? What'sthat?" zach asked confusedly.

"That monster-"

"It's just a monster. No need to think about it. I'm Ian, beta of this monster king." Ian stretched out his hand and pointed at Kei with his chin. Kei laughed amusedly. Aaron welcomes Ian's hand.

"Yaahh means our Orychant is complete. We have to practice" Kei said.

"Practiced? Again??" pekik Zach was surprised.  Kei and Ian nodded at the same time. "You guys are crazy. I don't want to."

Zach walks away leaving Kei, Ian and Aaron.

"Oh come on Zach..." Kei catches up with Zach and tries to persuade him.

"Both of those people. Seems to have the same personality. We may be overwhelmed by them" said Ian.

"Uhm.. Sorry Beta, but... Orychant it... What's?" ask Aaron. Ian smiled.

"You'll learn it slowly Aaron. Now let's go after those two troublesome people."

Ian clasped his hand over Aaron's shoulder and took him after Kei and Zach.

Aaron was sitting in a room in Zach's house. Starting today she lives in Zach's house because she has no place to live in the city of Rotternville. Aaron sat down. Zach, who had just arrived at Aaron's open door, found Aaron bowing his head. Zach knocked on Aaron's room door. Aaron raised his head and stood up straight.

"Can I come in?" ask Zach.

"Ten-of course alpha, this is your home" Aaron said. Aaron lowered his head and slightly bowed respectfully to Zach.

Zach went into the room and patted Aaron on the shoulder. Aaron looked a little surprised. Seeing Aaron's shock, Zach stops his actions.

"Let's just calm down, I'm not gonna hurt you. Sit down." pinta Zach who's been sitting on the bed.

"No, a-alpha is sitting" Aaron said.

"I want you to sit down with Aaron."

"But... I'm..."

"Sit down, this is an order." Zach said. Aaron paused for a moment and finally sat down next to Zach. "You.. All right?"

"I'm good alpha" said Aaron quickly.

"Something seems to be bothering you" Zach said.

"No, there's no alpha."

"I'm willing to listen if there's anything."

"There's no alpha, su-really." replied Aaron. Zach breathed.

"Well, if you're ready to tell a story, I'll happily listen. Now rest."

Zach stood up from his seat, followed by Aaron.

"No, no. Stay there. There's no need to drive me" Zach said as he found Aaron walking behind him. Aaron fell silent in his place.

"Sleep Aaron, get some rest" said Zach. Aaron nodded. "And please, call me Zach. Alpha makes me sound so old, like my dad. And I'm seventeen, I'm fit to be your sister, you know. Good night."

"Good night alpha."

Zach closes the door and leaves Aaron alone. Aaron took a deep breath and sat back on the bed. He ruffled his hair in frustration.

"Aaron, you're so stupid." he said.

Geck... Geck.. Geck..

"Aaron? Are you awake?" ask Zach's mom from outside Aaron's room. Aaron who woke up heard Zach's mother's voice jump out of bed and open the door.

"Have woken up madam, m-mm-I mean, luna" said Aaron.

"Well.." Zach's mother was still shocked by the sudden opening of the bedroom door. "...I'd rather be called mother, and would be very grateful if you call me mother. Your age is no different than my son. Uhm... How old are you?"

"Fifteen years, luna... I mean, nyo-no, i-mom?"

Zach's mother smiled.

"Rubber, mom. You're only two years away from my son so mother is a more fitting call. Come on down, let's have breakfast together."

"Good...." Aaron was silent for a moment. He seemed doubtful. "... Mommy."

Zach's mother smiled gently.

"Wait are you sure you're fifteen?" ask Zach's mom. Aaron nodded. "The sixpack's belly looks awesome for a fifteen-year-old."

Aaron looked at his body and realized that he was not wearing a shirt.

"Aahh ma-sorry... I'm..."

"It's okay Aaron. Zach hasn't been sleeping in a shirt lately either. Why does every werewolf have such a nice body." Zach's mother shook her head. "Let's get down."

"I'll be down soon... Uhm... Mommy."

Zach's mother nodded and left. Aaron closed the door and leaned against the door.

"Mother.." she murmured softly.

Zach sits on his bike in front of a house. He looked at his watch many times and looked agitated. Soon the door opened and Karen left the house. Zach got off the bike and went to Karen.

"Hi Karen." said Zach. Karen is shocked to see Zach in front of her house.

"What are you doing here?" ask Karen.

"Look at your situation." replied Zach.

"No need" said Karen as she passed. Zach catches up with Karen and stands right in front of Karen. Karen snorted in annoyance. "What exactly do you want?"

"Are you okay?" ask Zach.

"It's none of your business." Karen tries to get past Zach but Zach keeps getting in the way.

"Surely it's my business."

"Aahs... I'm sorry, I don't know myself. Well, I thank you, very grateful for what you did to me. Now let me go." Karen tries to walk again but Zach still gets in her way.

"Let's go to school together." take Zach. Karen looked at Zach in wonder.

"Are you crazy? Don't want to."

"Why not?"

"You want me to be the target of a mass of girls at school?"

"Of course not, why should you be the target of their anger?"

"Aahh. I'll go to school myself."

Karen walked past Zach.

"It'll be faster if I'm with me." persuaded Zach.

"No need."

"Come on Karen." Zach is still persuading Karen. Karen snorted in annoyance.

"You why the hell?! Ahhhh do you feel sorry for me? Or concerned? You don't have to do it. I don't need that."

Karen walked away. This time Zach didn't follow him. He let Karen go.

Zach comes to Daryl and Rodney standing in their locker.

"Hi, uhmm have you guys seen Karen?"

"Karen? No, I haven't seen him all day." Rodney replied.

"Why are you suddenly asking?" daryl asked with a suspicious look.

"Don't look at me like that. What about his friend? And Max, how is he?"

"Is this because of the time?" guess Daryl.

"Yes, we're still vigilant. Afraid that the vampires might come back and bring a bigger army."

"So you want to protect Karen?"

"Not just him, but everyone. But Karen was the target yesterday so I focused on Karen first while the others would be on guard."

"But... What's with them?" ask Zach.

"They're very strong Zach, we can't fight him. Only the chosen."

"The chosen one?"

"Leader of the white witch. I think you should learn about Daryl's magic."

"Aakhh I don't want to. I don't want to be a witch or anything." Daryl closed the locker.

"There's a witch coming to this town, do you want to study with them?" tawk Zach's.

"really?" ask Rodney. Zach nodded. Daryl looked at his two friends in turn.

"No, I don't want to and don't force me."

Daryl leaves his two friends. The three of them walk out of the school and find Adrian and Kian.

"What are you guys doing here?" ask Zach.

"Get you an alpha" Kian said.

"I told you not to call me that. What school did you forget anyway? What if we get caught?" Zach grunted in annoyance.

"Aah well al-I mean Zach. We have to go to the forest for training" Kian said.

"Why do we have to keep training? Aren't you bored?" Zach.

Just a few steps Zach stopped. His eyes found Nat and Matt. They seem to be on alert for something. Zach was suspicious.

Zach is not listening. He's still trying to follow Nat and Matt. He's sure they're headed somewhere, but where, Zach doesn't know. Zach lost track of them. Zach closed his eyes, trying to use his werewolf ears. He heard some people talking but there was no Matt voice. Zach is trying to focus more.

"After school."

"All right."

That's her! That's their voice! Zach has memorized Matt's voice because he often practices basketball together. Zach ran towards the back of the school. Zach tries to run as fast as possible without using his wolf strength.

Zach arrived shortly. Zach didn't see anyone there.

"Don't joke. You must know something."

Zach stopped his steps. Zach approached slowly.

"I told you I don't know" said someone else. It's like a voice... Karen.

"He saved you and sacrificed his life just to save you. So you must know something."

"What's wrong with you, Nat? Why are you being like this?"

"Maybe you don't know but I'm like this."

"No, you changed. We've been friends since Junior High! And you're not the Nat I know."

"Of course, the Nat you know, that nerd Nat, is dead. And now, you're gonna tell me who Zachary Payne really is."

Zach emerged from where he was hiding. He folded both hands in front of his chest and stared intently at Matt and Nat. Matt and Natasha were shocked. They took a few steps back.

"Why do you have to ask someone who doesn't know anything? Be prompt... Ask me." challenge Zach.

"Who are you really?" ask Matt.

"Zachary Payne." replied Zach.

"Ha! No kidding!"

"I'm not kidding. I'm Zachary Payne. What do you want me to answer? You even know my mother is one of the teachers here. Cho's mother, you remember?"

"Then what are you? What exactly are you?!"

"Well... That's a different question. I'm human, of course. You can see. Or aahh..." Zach came closer to them.  "Do you think I am... That creature? Vampires?"

Zach laughed out loud. Natasha and Matt looked at each other confusedly.

"You're crazy." Zach opened his mouth. "Look I don't have fangs."

"And this.." Zach took an apple from his bag and ate it. "See? I can even eat apples. And also I can stand during the day like this."

Zach walked to the sunlit spot and stood there.

"seen? Nothing happened. I'm not a vampire" Zach said. He smiled happily. He knows all the vampire traits of Rodney. Thanks Rodney.

Zach approached them again.

"Then... How can you fight it?" ask Nat.

"Hm... Adreanaline?" answer Zach. Nat and Matt looked in wonder.

"We see, your adrenaline's still working fine."

Matt comes forward and hits Zach right in the face. Matt hits Zach nonstop.

"No, stop! What are you doing?!" Karen tries to stop them but Nat prevents her.

"Let go of me, Nat." pinta Karen but Natasha still holds it firmly.

Matt's already on Zach's body. Matt's still raising his fist. Zach's face was bleeding and wounded. But Zach still doesn't want to use his powers.

Matt continues to beat him until Zach can't stand it anymore and pushes Matt's body strong. Matt's been blown far enough. Zach stood up and came to Matt who was still lying on the ground. Zach lifts Matt's body and pushes him against the wall and presses against his body.

"I ask you to stay away from Karen. Don't bother him, even go near him. If you approach him just a little bit, you'll come face to face with me." threatened Zach.

"Oh yeah? What are you gonna do?" challenge Matt. Zach's eyeballs turned pitch-black. Matt who watched it was shocked.

"I'll do whatever I can to hurt you." Zach's eyeballs turned deep red. Matt was getting shocked and scared. "And I can assure you, you won't like it."

Zach let Matt go. He retreated slowly while wiping the blood that was on his face.

"Originally you know Matt. It's..." Zach pointed at his wounded and bleeding face. "... It won't hurt me."

Zach turns around and releases Karen from Nat and then he pulls Karen to follow him.

"Matt! You all right?" ask Nat.

"Actually who is he?"

"What do you mean Matt? Zach human. You saw that she-"

"Nat's eyes, his eyeballs changed!"

"Changed?"

"Yes, it's pitch black, and then it becomes... It's red."

"What's? Maybe you're just hallucinating."

"No Nat! I'm not hallucinating."

"Oh well, all right. Let's just get out of here."

Nat grabbed Matt and took him away.

Zach's still pulling Karen's hand. Karen tried to stop Zach but Zach was too strong.

"Zach.." call Karen. Zach doesn't pay attention to it. "Zach!! You hurt me!"

Zach stopped his steps and looked over.

"I don't have Zach's pain" said Karen. Zach let go of the handle.

"Sorry." said Zach. Karen held her wrist. "Are you okay?"

"You shouldn't have helped me" Karen said.

"But they've gone too far for you."

"I'm doing fine. Did you forget I could fight? If they're ordinary humans I can still fight them."

"You... Must be surprised."

"About?"

"Hmmm... Youknew.. Vampires."

"So... All this time you knew they were real Zach?"

"No, I don't know about that. I just saw it that time."

"But you don't look surprised."

"Well yeah, my life has been full of amazing surprises so adding one more surprise doesn't matter" Zach said. Karen frowned trying to digest Zach's words.

"I'm sure.. I don't understand what you're saying."

"Forget it. Are you sure you're okay, Karen? Your-your-friends"

"I'm fine, don't worry about me. I can take care of myself."

"I know it's Karen... I'm just-"

"I know you feel sorry for me. I don't need to be pityed." Karen walked away.

"No Karen, I mean..."

"Hi Zach's..."

Karen and Zach looked over. Ashley smiled and came to them.

"What are you doing here?" ask Ashley.

"Oh hey Ashley, I just... Uhmm.."

Karen snorted in annoyance and left Zach and Ashley behind.

"Who is Zach?"

"He's... "

"Zach!!"

Adrian and Kian along with Rodney and Daryl come and approach them.

"Where have you been this? We've been looking for you everywhere." said Daryl.

"Ahh sorry I..."

"Hi Ash.." said Daryl to Ashley.

"Hi Daryl." Ashley replied.

"Come alp-I mean Zach. We've got to go. You know that." said Adrian.

"Yes, yeah.. I-i know. I'll go Ashley first, we'll talk again."

"Where are you going?" ask Ashley.

"I... Uhm... There's something important I need to do. So then... See you soon."

Zach walked and stood in the middle between Rodney and Daryl who stood side by side and hugged them together.

"Please keep an eye on Karen for me." she whispered to Daryl and Rodney and patted both of them on the shoulder and walked away. The two of them just stared at each other and breathed.

Aaron helped Zach's mom clean the garage. Aaron was happy to help. He had nothing else he could do in this city. He can't even go to school. So she decides to help Zach's mother though without being asked.

"Good afternoon Luna." said Jason.

"You are..."

"Jason, sunna. I came with King Kei." said Jason.

"Ahh yes. Hello Jason." greet Zach's mother.

"Do we need to help luna?" tawker Brad.

"Ahh no need, we're almost done. And please don't call me luna. I'm not the wife of your alpha."

"But luna mate from Alpha Dustin. Even if you're not his wife, you're still our luna" Brad said.

"Oh well, I gave up on that" Zach's mother said. "Do you want to meet Zach? Zach hasn't come home yet. I should have, but maybe he's with Daryl and Rodney."

"No luna. Adrian and Kian have gone to pick up alpha Zach. We're here to pick up Aaron's beta."

"Aaron?" repeat of Zach's mother.

Aaron, who heard his name, stopped his work and looked at Jason and Brad.

"He's playing Jason" said Brad.

"Ehem.." Zach's mother cleared her throat. Jason and Brad looked over. "Are you guys gonna fight here?"

"Sorry luna" said Brad.

"I'll be there soon" Aaron said.

"It's okay Aaron, you can go with them" said Zach's mother.

"No luna, let me help luna. At least to thank you for giving me a place to stay" Aaron said. Zach's mother sighed.

"alright. You two go first. It won't be long."

"Good luna. We went beta" Brad said, followed by Jason.

"Are you sure we left beta Aaron?" Jason says.

"No, I'm not sure." Brad replied.

"You don't trust him either, do you? Just like me."

"It's not Jason, I'm just afraid he's lost."

"What's? Hey, he's a werewolf. He is good at smelling and hearing sounds. He won't get lost."

"Akhh well, all right. We'll wait for him in the middle of the road." Brad hastened his pace.

"Hey, wait for me! Why is your path so fast?!"

Aaron changed his shirt with a new one. Zach's mother bought him some t-shirts and jeans. Aaron asks permission to leave and soon follows Jason and Brad into the woods for training.

Aaron looked a little agitated. His head was filled with thoughts from last night. He's so unsettled.

Suddenly Aaron heard a voice. He stopped his steps.

"Jason? Brad's? Is that you?" ask Aaron.

"What are the names of your new friends?" ask someone behind her. Aaron looked up and was surprised.

"Nathan?"

"Oh you remember me. It's so good to hear it." Nathan sneered. Two more people appeared beside Nathan. "You know Aaron, we thought you were a corpse after that pure alpa bite. Apparently look! You're alive!"

"It looks like the alpha was curing him" Brian said.

"Yes, that's right Brian. I'm sure too. Even in living with that alpha. Is it so much fun living with them, that you forget about your own pack? Or do you want to betray?"

"I'm not a traitor" Aaron said.

"Oh yeah? I'm not sure that. You seem very comfortable here. Did you forget your family was there? Your disabled mother and your two sisters?"

"If you guys touch them I swear I'll-"

"We're not gonna touch him. But... We don't guarantee if it's alpha Roger. You know how alpha Roger is, right? He's looking for you, Aaron."

Aaron was silent at Nathan's words.

"Go home with us. If you don't want your disabled mother and your two sisters to die at the hands of alpha Roger" Nathan said.

"We'll give it until midnight on Aaron." Brian continued. "We will wait for you at the border of this city. Think wisely, Aaron. Your family's at stake."

"May!!"

Jason and Brad got there. They stood in front of Aaron and growled.

"Ohh don't misunderstand me. We didn't come looking for trouble. We were just greeting an old friend who we thought was dead at your alpha hands" Nathan said, smiling. "We'll go and not come back. Remember my words, Aaron."

The three werewolves immediately turned into wolves and left Aaron, Jason and Brad behind.

"You okay Beta? Did they hurt you?" ask Brad.

"I'm fine. Don't worry." said Aaron while still staring at the departure of his old comrade.
