Kei POVs

I walked to the canteen. Actually, I was very lazy to the cafeteria. I just want to listen to music in class. But Ian said Mr. Simon was waiting for me in the cafeteria, so inevitably I had to go to the cafeteria. I kept thinking about my father's words last night.

Flashbacks

I read books while listening to music, my activities at night. I felt thirsty and saw that my glass was empty. I went down to get some water in the kitchen. Not yet in the kitchen, my father called.

"Kei." call my dad. I looked over and came to my father who was in the living room. There's already Cavril and George, beta of the Roykolt moon pack.

"Yes?"

"Sit down" said my father. There's a command tone there. I was lazily sitting on the single sofa. The sofa was U-shaped, one long and two single sofas on its side. My father was sitting next to me and Cavril next to my father, and George was sitting on the single sofa next to him.

"Is your school okay?" ask dad. I frowned at me. I know my father is making small talk right now.

"Sure." I finally answered.

"Have you ever met your mother?" ask dad. I'm appalled.

"Why did you suddenly ask that?" I was confused by the question about mate suddenly.

Everyone was silent and looked at each other.

"Dad... What's the matter exactly?" ask me who is getting confused.

"It's okay Kei, you're seventeen soon. I'm just asking." said my father. From the look on his face I knew something was up. I know my father very well. He did say it was okay but from the frown on his forehead I knew he was lying.

"I haven't found my mate's father and I won't be looking for him either, not anytime soon." I said lazily.

I saw my father nodding followed by Cavril and George. There's a worried look there. I wanted to ask but I ended up pausing my intentions because I'm sure you won't answer me honestly. Mother entered the living room with a tray containing several beer cans.

"I go to the room first." I said. I do not want to linger there especially with a less pleasant atmosphere. I stood up from my chair and left.

"Kei." call dad. I stopped walking and looked. "Is school okay? No problem, is it?"

I frowned hearing my father repeat the question I had answered and then I realized, I was just afraid I was turning into a monster again. Who wants that?

"No dad, everything's fine" I replied.

"If there's something, you can tell Simon. You know that, right? Simon Murphy, your English teacher?" said George.

"Sure, I don't have to worry." I said then passed.

Flashback end

I walked to the cafeteria at the back of the school while my class was at the front of the school. I passed by the teacher's office which happened to be one of the roads leading to the canteen. From a distance I saw the gorilla there. I snorted in annoyance. Just seeing it I was upset. I still feel the pain when the gorilla beat me. I shudder in horror. She's not a normal girl. I wanted to turn around but then I saw him talking to the one guy I knew named Mark? Malky? That's the name if I'm not wrong. I don't know and don't care about that guy.

"A suitable couple." I muttered.

Then I saw a girl who I thought was very beautiful. Much prettier than the gorilla. He put his hand on Mark? Marky's? Malky? Ahh that's his name. All I know is that there's a love triangle here. Attractively. But somehow I felt sorry for the gorilla. He will be rejected. Who would want to pick an ugly gorilla if there was one that was prettier? If he chooses a gorilla, it means that the man is also abnormal. Kei chuckled to himself.

But the longer I looked at it the more awkward the situation became. But ahh what do I care? I turned my body around, acting unconcerned. But I didn't move my body away, I just stayed where I stood. Fucking arrgh! Why am I not calm. No, no, I can't be like this. I put my foot down again and stopped again. Damn it!!

I walked and felt like I was behind the gorilla.

"So you're here?" my many. I have to do the show this time.

I saw the gorilla's hand held by Malky or whatever his name was. I don't know why I'm so upset to see him holding the gorilla's hand. He's not my mate and I don't like him either but I feel annoyed. Ridiculous right?

"Simon sir called you, quickly go. He's in second grade." I said lying while keeping my face flat. I saw the gorilla looking confused. I don't give a shit. I turned my body and walked away.

I looked a little and saw him just sitting there. Damnit damnit!! Why is he silent?! I turned my body and asked.

"Do you still want to stay there?" my many. Oh come on, don't make myself look stupid.

"Ah yes" he said at last. Thank moon goddes...

Instead of going to second grade, I took her to the cafeteria and made sure, the chatty gorilla would ask a lot. Ughh noisily, my ears are sick. He stopped asking when he saw Mr. Murphy sitting with his two friends on one of the canteen benches, not forgetting Ian because the boy was really sticky with the chatty gorilla's friends.

"Mother called me?" he asked when he was sitting in the cafeteria.

"I? Nothing." replied Mr. Murphy puzzled.

"But the bear said... I mean Kei, you called me."

And I can make sure everyone looks at me confused. But I'm still me. I'm a bitch, I don't care, of course.

"Father didn't call you Tania, but you did call Kei" said Mr. Murphy clearly despite the stormy cafeteria. I looked towards the gorilla and there was already a frown on his forehead indicating he was confused. He looked at me directly.

"Ohhh... Means I misheard." I said casually and it made the gorilla move his lips. He's funny when he's pouting like that, I muttered but I quickly tepis. I'd go crazy if I liked it. No, no, no.

Saturated, that's what I'm thinking right now. I'm getting tired of everything here. Everything looks the same as the same activity. The difference is I don't have to meet and deal with that annoying Cayden. I saw Ian walking ahead. He seemed to be seducing one of the gorilla's friends. Is he the mate? Ahhh I don't care. Just let Ian have some fun. Honestly, he deserved it after what he did. I would lie if I hated him. I consider him my brother. I don't want him to help me because I don't want him to get hurt because of me.

I don't want to go home. Am I just going for a walk, right? I turned and entered the forest without Ian noticing. I kept walking through the forest. Yeah, it's like Lykort. Even the air is the same. I want to turn into a wolf right now, but I hold it. I don't want any trouble.

I ran as hard as I could with my human form. I ran in no direction. I just want to run off my fatigue.

I breathe fresh air in the forest. Suddenly I inhaled another. Smell wolf. I looked in all directions but could not find. Then I gasped in surprise when I saw one of the big wolves hiding in the thickets.

"Who are you?" I spontaneously asked. Then I cursed myself for asking. Because I'm breaking myself now.

At first the wolf wanted to get away from me. I knew from his visible gestures that he would turn around. But not because I heard you talk. If an ordinary human would scream or run. But I just kept quiet and asked who you were, making me unpack my identity.

Not long after the other wolves arrived. The wolves immediately approached me with a look of hatred. I've been cornered now because I've been surrounded by wolves.

"What do you want?!" my many.

I only heard their growls and displeased gazes. Then one of the wolves turned into a human being. A man who looked the same age as Ian. He approached me.

"Who are you? What are you doing here? What's your pack's name?" tanyakanya.

"I... I'm..."

Damnit damnit! Why am I so nervous like this. I took a deep breath.

"My name is Kei, I live in this city and I don't have a pack." I said steadily. But he looked at me in wonder.

"Living in this town? I never saw you. Don't lie." said the man. I knew he wouldn't believe me.

"I'm not lying. I just moved in three weeks ago. My name is Kei Lyroso Laros. I'm the son of Oston Ludwig Laros." I said trying to convince them.

"It seems to have heard that name." muttered one person who was to my right.

"Are you sure, Jason?" ask the man in front of me.

"Yeah.. I'm not sure." said Jason. The man in front of me breathed a rough sigh.

"You have to be sure Jason. We don't want to make mistakes."

"She said she didn't have a pack, did she rogue?" ask the man on my left. There were five of them and all of them were big and sturdy.

"I'm not a rogue." I replied coldly. Everyone is looking at me.

"I remember!!" peekkik Jason's. "There's one family and a small army. Y'all know? The one from the Moon Lykort pack. They're friends with our alpha." Jason said enthusiastically.

"So he's one of the members?" ask the man in front of me.

"That's... I'm not sure." Jason replied.

"Jake, should we take him to the alpha? If he was one of the alpha friends, the alpha would know him" one of them said.

The man in front of me named Jake was silent. He seemed to be thinking.

"No" he said at last. "Don't alpha. Let's go to beta first. We don't want to interrupt the alpha, do we? If it turns out he's not their member, the alpha will be very upset."

"True, it's best to beta first."

They were arguing where they were taking me. It's myjob. They're off guard at the moment. I don't want to be taken anywhere by them. Especially if my dad knows. He's gonna be mad at me, especially at Ian for being out of my sight. I walked back slowly, away from them. When they had not noticed me, I turned around and ran as hard as I could.

I kept running with my human form. I looked back and I saw they had noticed my disappearance. I saw them chasing me with their human form. I can still escape them if they keep chasing me with human form.

My hope was dashed for a moment when I heard a loud growl behind me. Damnit damnit!! They changed! I wouldn't be able to get away with it like this. I have to change myself, too, but I'm going to keep running.

I instantly turned myself into a wolf and continued running. I turned quickly to avoid them. They still chase me. They're getting close.

I stopped my steps for a moment. I reached the cliff. Damnit damnit! Shit....!!! I turned around and the five wolves were already lined up behind me. There's no way out anymore. I'm panicking.

"Let me go, please. I'm not rogue."

I speak through my mind and I know they hear me.

"Then why did you run?"

Yes, that's me and my short thinking.

"I just don't want any trouble. I beg. Or you can take me to your alpha or beta. I won't fight."

I tried to convince them.

"But we don't trust you anymore."

Shit, shit, shit!!! What am I supposed to do now?!

"Strike him!"

Oh no!! And it's true. One of them jumped high and tried to reach me. I dodged it quickly. He came back to attack me. He stuck his claw into my body. I groan in pain. It hurts so much. I walked backwards. He clawed me in my arm. I kept retreating to the end of the abyss.

"I beg you to let me go. I don't want anything bad to happen here."

Yeah, I don't want to turn into that monster any more than ordinary humans here. Much more than Lykort.

"No way!" sahut Jack's.

Jack jumped at me trying to attack me. I jumped in to escape but my foot landed in the wrong place. The cliffs I was pointing at collapsed. I fell down with the rock. I continued to roll until I finally reached the bottom of the ravine with my feet crushed by a large enough stone. I groan. It hurts so much.

I tried to take my foot off. But my leg's stuck. Arghhh shit! I should how? It hurts so much!!

I have to change myself. Yeah, that's the only way. My leg sandwiched him between the two stones and he topped it there was a big rock blocking it. If I turn myself into a human being, my legs will come off.

Suddenly I heard a voice. I smell human! Wh who? Damnit damnit! I can't change if there's a human!!

Then a head appeared that was looking at me. I know that face. That's the gorilla girl!!
