Faithful Oath

Zach was still standing with a sweet smile at the hunters who stood guard outside the Cigeira family home. He was wearing black shorts and a white T-shirt. Her hair looks messy. It looks like he's in a hurry.

"What's this?" out the male was rather fat and had a thick beard. The man was wearing brown trousers and a checkered shirt that looked a bit forced into his puffy body. Inside the shirt was a white shirt that looked oversized. The man stood staring at Zach.

"Sir, he..."

"Zachary Payne, pure-bred alpha, sir." cut Zach out. The man frowned.

"Alpha pure scion you say?" the man was surprised.

"It's true." Zach was still smiling sweetly at the man in front of him.

"For what did pure-bred alpha come to my house? What incredible courage." a smile appeared on his lips.

"No need to praise." Zach laughed awkwardly. His eyes stared at the second floor window. There was a girl who was staring at him, who he believed to be Jane.

"Then, what's your purpose here?" ask the man.

"Begging for an explanation and making a deal with you."

"Examination and agreement? How intriguing. What's that about?"

"Tell me Mr. Cigeira, what do you want from us? Why do you want to destroy us?"

"Is it because of the king? I heard some humans died a while ago."

"It wasn't our fault. We don't bite manausia." replied Zach.

"Although, I don't care, Zach. We Cigeira have no truce with any werewolf. We are aware of the danger. It's our instinct as hunters."

"You sure of that? What about alpha Roger?"

"What's wrong with her?"

"Don't pretend, sir. I'm sure you're with alpha Roger who's planning all this."

The man laughed loudly.

"Alright, alright... Might as well. Do you have any evidence? You guilty, don't blame us if we hunt you down. That's our job." elak the man.

"Then why should we? We never hurt a human like alpha Roger. I really wonder why you're not after them." asked Zach.

"Maybe it's not time yet. Then alpha, where are you? Shouldn't I always be with alpha?"

"Hey, she's not my girlfriend why should I keep her?" zach protests.

"The "alpha and beta relationship is thicker than blood, closer than the parent-child relationship. So then.. Are you in this house?" guess the guy. Zach surprised. The man smiled. He knew his guess was right.

"Despite that, I don't need to be with her all the time. I know the risk of coming here. You think I'm gonna let him get hurt?" Zach tried to reason. Itumenatap Zach boy wonder.

"I've only seen alpha for the first time so much as to protect the females. Shouldn't it be reversed?"

"No, it's not upside down" said the newly arrived Aaron. Aaron pulls Nathan's hand and pushes Nathan's body slowly. Nathan looked at the man. The man was surprised but he immediately hid his surprise.

"What's this about? Who's she?" ask the man.

"You know what he is and who he is" Aaron replied.

'Aaron what is this? Why did you bring him?'

The flashback

Nathan stood long enough in front of the back door. He repeatedly breathed.

"You better confess" said Aaron, who had arrived there. Nathan looked.

"I don't understand what you mean" he said and left.

"Ohh I know you understand" said Aaron. Nathan stopped his steps. "I know you helped the Cigeira family. That's why you're here. That's why you were hurt and dumped by alpha Roger."

"You don't know anything. Don't talk so much." Nathan walked again.

"Did you forget I was also part of Roger's alpha pack? I know very well how he is." said Aaron enough to stop Nathan's steps again. Nathan turned.

"Yes, that's right. But you're not part of them anymore. So take care of your business with your new alpha."

"Do you still want to be a part of them? They've hurt and dumped you, Nathan."

"They didn't hurt me and dump me! It's none of your business anyway!!" peekkik Nathan's.

"Can't you do the right thing this time?" ask Aaron. He really hoped Nathan would change.

"Don't advise me Aaron. I warned you." Nathan took a few steps forward and was now right in front of Aaron with both hands clenched.

"Do not know Nathan. They've helped you, healed you, accepted you. Don't do this, Nathan." Aaron asked.

"Stop advising me. I'm sick of it!" Nathan turned around and started walking. Aaron runs and stops Nathan's steps.

"What's your problem?!" aaron asked half-shouting.

"No! What's your problem?! What are you taking care of me for, Aaron?"

"I'm giving you a chance to be a better person, Nathan. These people really care about you."

Nathan laughs.

"It's funny. Since when do I care about all that?"

"Yes, you're right. You always thought of alpha Roger as the greatest man. You are even willing to do anything for him. Even kill your brother."

"Don't mention my brother again, Aaron."

"What?! But it's true. Your brother was supposed to be luna, but you helped alpha Roger kill him just because alpha Roger was annoyed by his presence. You killed your own brother!"

Bukk!!

Nathan hit Aaron in the face. Aaron looked at Nathan and smiled.

"Why Nathan? Are you disturbed by that? That you prefer your alphabet?"

"She's my alph, you know I can't argue with her. You did that too, right? For mom?"

"Yeah that's right. But at least I've changed and tried to do the right thing. I gave you that chance, Nathan."

"I'm not interested."

"You haven't changed." Aaron grunts annoyed.

"I don't need to change. Especially for people like you."

Bukk!!

This time Aaron hit him.

"Are you going to fight me this time, Aaron? You always lose against me."

"We'll see."

Aaron turned into a wolf. He growled loudly. Nathan changed too. Aaron jumps high and reaches Nathan and Nathan's neck doing the same. Nathan tries to bite Aaron, but Aaron still holds back. Aaron shoves hard on Nathan's wolf body. Nathan crashed on the ground and immediately got up and growled loudly and jumped towards Aaron. Aaron dodged. Aaron lunged at Nathan. They rolled into the forest. Nathan kicked with his hind legs. Aaron can balance his body and push hard Nathan's body with his head. Nathan tried to hold back but he wasn't strong enough. He knows Aaron beta now which makes Aaron stronger than him. Nathan survives, but eventually his body crashes.

'Do the right thing for once in your life, Nathan. Just once!'

Nathan growled and stared hard at Aaron.

'Nathan, I know you didn't mean anything bad. I know you-'

'Aaarrrggghhh silent!! You know nothing about me!'

Nathan gets angry and runs straight to Aaron and attacks him. Aaron tried to defend but this time Nathan attacked with all his might. Nathan didn't hold it this time. He's already too angry. Aaron crashes. He got up and raised his claws on Nathan. Nathan groans. Aaron clawed and bit Nathan's back. Nathan was hurt but he survived. He tried to attack Aaron with the rest of his strength. Aaron also prepared to strike back. But suddenly Zach appears and stands in their midst using his wolf form. Zach growled loudly and furiously.

'What is this?! Why are you fighting?!'

Neither Aaron nor Nathan answered. They're speechless.

'Aaron's? Do you want to explain?'

'Alpha small quarrels only, nothing to worry about.'

'Little quarrel? But he hurt pretty badly Aaron. You are beta. You are stronger than him.'

'I'm sorry alpha, I... Out of control.'

'All right, go back to Sebastian's alpha house and help Ian. He's making plans.'

'Good alpha.'

Aaron leaves Zach and Nathan. Zach looked at Nathan. Nathan was lying down and enduring the pain.

'Are you okay, Nathan?'

Nathan did not answer. He just looked down. Zach comes to Nathan's wolf. He licked Nathan's wounds. Alpha saliva will heal his wounds quickly. Nathan is shocked by Zach's treatment.

'Un-for what you... No, you do that?'

'I don't know, I just feel like you need to. Don't worry about Aaron. I know he's just worried about you and me, too. You're young just like Aaron but you've been trained so hard.'

'But it's to make me strong.'

'I understand that. But my mother said, kids need to be kids, sometimes. They don't always have to be forced into adulthood. I know I'm only a year or two older than you, but what my mother said is true. Stop trying to be strong, Nathan. But try to understand yourself and find out who you really are. And of course, be a teenager. Do not keep the burden above you.'

Zach turned around and walked away from Nathan who was speechless. The wound had healed and closed but he still had not turned into a human. He just lay there in silence.

Cigeira House.

"He has started. We better be too" said Henry. Everyone started to move from there but their steps stopped. Nathan's there. Aaron's already prepared for Nathan to report their whereabouts to the Cigeira family.

"What are you doing here, Nathan?" whispered Ian.

"I... I want to talk to Aaron's beta." he whispered. Everyone looked at Aaron.

"What should now? We can talk later." Aaron declined.

"Can't, Aaron. It must be now."

"It's troublesome. Just go ahead. I'll catch up" Aaron said.

"Are you sure of that?"

"Of course Ian, I'm fine."

"All right, let's go."

Ian, Jake and the hunters are gone.

"What's up Nathan?"

"I'll do it."

"Do what?"

"I admit it."

"Good, then wait at home alpha Sebastian, we'll talk later. You know I'm being-"

"I'm sorry I can't."

"Huf.... What else now?"

"You'll know."

"What?"

Nathan looked at the hunters. Aaron looked at her.

"Maybe it's not time yet. Then alpha, where are you? Shouldn't I always be with alpha?" said the hunter. Aaron widened his eyes.

"Yeah, sooner or later he'll ask. He'll be suspicious if you're not with alpha Zach. That's why I'm keeping you here. This is good for you." Nathan said and left.

"Wait a minute, I have a better idea" Aaron said.

"Do you know him, Mr. Cigeira?" ask Aaron. The man looked at Nathan. Nathan was confused and kept quiet.

"Why should I know him?"

"Didn't he give me the crystal?"

"What?!"

"yes alpha. Nathan gave them the crystal at Roger's alpha's behest, didn't he?"

Nathan was silent. He looked at Zach and then Aaron. Aaron nodded at him.

"That's right" Nathan said at last. He lowered his head.

"So it's true that alpha, they're working with alpha Roger" Aaron said. Zach laughed cynically.

"No ceasefire you say?" ask Zach. The man is grinding his molars.

"I don't think it's any of your business with whom I work together."

"Of course it's my business, sir. Especially if it concerns my pack and the people I care about. I'm sure you'll do the same if it concerns your family. Isn't that Ian?"

"Alpha of course." said Ian who had been standing behind them with his left hand on Jane's shoulders. Jane's father turned around and was shocked.

"What do you want?" ask Jane's dad.

"Give us that crystal."

"And forfeit your chance to kill you? It will never!"

"Although your daughter's life is at stake?"

"He already knew what the risks were of being a hunter. He'll understand why I'm doing this. Isn't she darling?" ask Jane's father about Jane. Jane stared in disbelief at her father.

"She's your daughter and she's still a teenager! How can you be this cruel?"

"I told you he knows the risks."

Zach looked at Ian.

'It didn't work out Ian, plan B.'

'Okay alpha. Plan B Jake.'

'Good beta.'

Jake tells Dixon's hunters he's with behind the house.

"We're in."

Henry opened the door slowly. He was wary of hunters. They saw one hunter pass out and was under the dining table. They believe it was Ian who entered first.

"We spread out and regroup here."

Everyone nodded and began to split up. Jake's looking around the kitchen. He looked out the kitchen window. He saw something in the distance. A light. He opened the kitchen door and walked towards the light.

"Who's there?" said one of the Cigeira hunters. Jake immediately ran up to the hunter and hit him hard. The hunter fainted instantly. Jake walked back to the light. The longer the closer. He saw a small room there.

"Stop there!"

Jake turns around and finds two hunters there and points a gun at him.

Meanwhile in front of the house.

All the hunters are on standby and point their guns loaded with wolfsbane bullets. Ian walked slowly towards Zach while taking Jane with him.

"You can take it I won't care but I'll never give up that crystal."

"It's so stubborn." murmured Zach.

"And you're Nathan, didn't I tell you Roger ordered you to go back to your old pack? Or maybe you're already here?" said Jane's father. "Somehow would Roger react if he knew you were a traitor."

Nathan was silent.

"So are you going to attack this place?" ask Jane's dad. Jane's father pulled out his gun and loaded Zach. But Zach was quickly able to escape. All the guards started firing their guns. Zach turned into a wolf. He attacked one of the hunters. Aaron and Ian changed too. Gunshots kept sounding.

Jane panic. He was in the middle of that fight. Nathan panicked too. He doesn't know who he's going to defend.

Zach's shot. Jane's father shot him. Zach was in pain but he immediately got up and growled. He endured the pain. Jane's dad shot again. Zach was hit by a wolfsbane bullet again. But Zach doesn't stop his steps from going to Jane's father. Zach ran and hit Jane's father. Jane's father's body hit the wall and then crashed into the ground.

"Dad!!!" shouted Jane. He wants to go to his father but Ian prevents. "Even though he's like that, he's still my father."

Jane runs to her father and tries to help him. Jane's father shook Jane's hand, refused to help, then stood up.

Zach howling loudly. Before long appeared wolves in countless numbers and innumerable. They surrounded the house. The hunters are outnumbered. Even their weapons were useless and they could not take their spare weapons at home. The door of the house was blocked by wolves.

"Help us out of here. Then I won't tell Roger about your betrayal." Jane's father bargained. Nathan seemed to think.

'Don't Nathan, alpha Roger won't let you live. Don't trust them.'

Aaron tried to persuade Nathan. Nathan was silent. He did not know what to do and it made him know if his loyalty had moved. The front door is open. Henry's out with his men.

"You..."

"Yes, it's me. Hello Joe." said Henry.

"You betrayed a fellow hunter."

"Ohh don't equate me with Joe, I didn't kill an innocent wolf."

"But we're wolf hunters!!"

"That's right. But they didn't hurt or kill anyone Joe, you know the deal."

"Fuck that deal!!!"

"Stop here Joe, I'm sure they'll forgive you" Henry said.

"No." Jane's dad took another gun from under his shirt. A weapon that had been loaded with bullets taken from the crystal then shot Zach.

"Dad no!!" shouted Jane. Zach can't escape anymore.

There was a groaning sound. Zach surprised. Nathan took the shot. He's blocking Zach from receiving the bullet. Nathan has become human.

"Fuck you Joe." Henry hit Jane's father in the face with the handle of his long-barreled gun. Joe's down.

"Nathan! Are you all right?" asked Aaron who had become an ordinary human. Nathan groaned in pain.

"Ian, take care of everything." orders Zach who has also turned into an ordinary human. Ian nodded.

"Is he hurt bad?" ask Zach.

"Do not know alpha. He didn't answer."

"Let me see" said Henry who was approaching.

"If it's an ordinary wolfsbane he'll be fine. Just take out the bullet."

Henry examined Nathan's wounds. She's surprised.

"What's up, sir? He's gonna be okay, right?" asked Aaron who saw Nathan's expression. Henry sighed.

"Is he pure descendant? Descendants of the first werewolf?"

"It seems, I don't know" Aaron said.

"If judging from his reaction, he was indeed a pure descendant. She's dying. It's a wolfsbane bullet made of that crystal."

"What?"

"Ma-ma-forgive me." Nathan said.

"No Nathan you'll be fine. Don't say anything."

Nathan's body shook. He doesn't have much time.

"I beg Mr. Dixon, do something."

"Can't be alpha. It was the strongest poison in the world and killed a pure descendant. Kei is the King, he is stronger than Nathan. That's why he can still survive, and Nathan can't."

"Dian! Bian can cure it. We'll just give him that crystal."

"Wouldn't have had time. Nathan won't survive. I'm sorry." Henry handed the crystal to Ian. "Take this to the witch and hurry!"

Ian immediately ran towards the alpha Sebastian home. Nathan's body shook again.

"Oh no! Nathan!!" peekit Aaron.

"Ak-ku b-ber-sum-pah ak-ak-an set-seti-a d-and pa-pat-uh p-pa-da alp-pha Z-zach" Nathan said. Nathan chose to become a member of Zach's pack for the last part of his life. There was a lot of blood coming out of his mouth. Nathan smiled at Aaron and then at Zach. He closed his eyes and did not move anymore.

"Nathan then? Nathan?!" call Aaron. Henry checked Nathan. She shook her head. Aaron bowed and so did Zach.

"Alpha, you're bleeding" said Henry. Zach looked at his body and remembered that he had been shot twice by Jane's father.

"I'm fine sa-a-akhh.." Zach groaning.

"Let's get the alpha back home." Aaron told his omegas. "Don't forget to bring Nathan's body back. He's already given his life for our alpha."

The omega nodded and grabbed Zach and lifted Nathan's body.

"Gipz!!" call Jake.

"Where have you been?" ask Aaron to Jake.

"I'm sorry beta. But I found them" said Jake. Behind Jake there's a bunch of people. There are men and women, old and children.

"Who are they?" ask Zach.

"I don't know. I found them in a small room in the back not far from their house."

"They... Not an ordinary man."

"Right, they're coyote men. They were tortured and sold by alpha Roger to Cigeira hunters."

"Oh my god, that's cruel." murmured Zach. "Bring them. Treat it well."

"Good alpha."

Zach is back walking aided by the omega.

Ian ran with all his might. He finally got home. He immediately broke into the house. Ian went into the room Kei was in.

"It's.." she told Bian.

"Why is it so long?" Bian took the crystal and opened it. "Livia, give me the material I asked for."

Livia complies and gives what Bian asks. Bian mixed all the objects and filtered them and placed them in a glass.

"Tania, drink this" Bian said to Tania who was at the side. "Let's help Tania lift Kei's head, quick! We don't have time anymore."

Ian headed straight for Kei and raised his head. Tania lures the potion bit by bit and then lays down Kei. Suddenly Kei's body trembled violently. Everyone is surprised.

"What's wrong with her?" ask Tania. Before long Kei's body returned limp and did not move. "Key, honey?"

"Is he okay?" ask Livia.

"We have to wait for Livia" Bian said.

Kei's heartbeat stopped for a moment. Then it came back beating. Kei jerks awake. He's sitting. Breath fast. Kei coughed.

"Let's!!" Tania hugged Kei. Kei looked at Ian then Bian.

"Welcome back Kei" said Bian.
