Chapter 3: The Past Tragedy

Kei walked back. Ian wanted to follow him but finally did not so.He wanted to wait a while first, so that Kei's anger subsided. Kei ran and kept dancing. He has entered a thick forest. He stopped his running and adjusted his breathing. He sat on a dead log. Suddenly Kei heard a voice. Kei tried to listen to that voice. That sound is very fast. Suddenly someone jumped right in front of him. Werewolves. Kei stood surprised.

"Who are you?! want what?!" ask Kei.

The werewolf just kept quiet and growled at Kei. Soon, several other werewolves appeared. Their numbers are now more. Kei started to look scared and nervous. His feet began to tremble. He doesn't know what the hell is going on. The wolves then howled loudly, very loudly.

Meanwhile...

"I don't think you're right for this job my sister." Fred told Cayden.

"Whatchu mean? I can still do it." said Cayden with a frown on his face.

"It's been a few weeks you've done it but look, the results aren't there. Kei has not yet turned into a monster." said Fred who had been sitting on a boulder.

"But it takes time. Kei is really good at holding back his emotions. There's Ian the jerk."

"I don't think that's right. Kei is still like before. Just look at that moment when I offended her brother. He was instantly angry. I don't think the problem is Kei, but your incompetence."

Cayden snorted annoyedly at his brother. The sound of howls so loud that Fred immediately stood up from his seat.

"We got it" he said to his two friends."We're going to party today."

Fred and his two friends run into the woods leaving Cayden alone. A confused Cayden finally follows Fred into the woods. Fred kept running as fast as he could. Although his speed was above that of a normal human, Fred felt that it was not fast enough. Fred turned into a wolf with his friends and headed to where the howling was. A moment Fred had arrived and found his five friends with Kei who were still standing still with his human body and looked frightened. Fred walked slowly towards Kei. Kei tried to brave himself and started to stand up.

"You want Fred?" tanyakanya. He knew it was Fred. Fred snarled violently. Fred turned his eyes to his friend and hinted at his friend to start their party. His friend howled and began to come to Kei. Kei walked back slowly. He was starting to get scared now, very scared. Suddenly Fred's friend immediately pushed Kei to use his head violently. Kei crashed hard on the tree. Kei tried to get up and hold his sore waist.

"Come on Kei, change." Fred said. Fred has now turned into a human. Fred laughed loudly. "Again." he said

The wolf ran and pushed Kei's body again. Kei crashed along with the tree he hit earlier. The tree was broken and fell with Kei. Kei grimaced in pain. He knew he would never be able to fight them even more so with his human body. But he didn't want to fight Fred or anyone. He did not want the monster that was himself to rise. Yeah, at least that's what the creature calls. Monsters. The monster will come out if Kei loses control of his wolf body. When that happens, Kei will eradicate everything. Both werewolves and humans were like the events of that time.

Flashbacks

"Let's.... Kei wake up." the sound of the call makes Kei wake up from his sleep. Kei rubbed his eyes and found his brother Dylan, sitting next to him with a pale face.

"What's wrong?" ask Kei.

"Shirt your clothes fast." Dylan handed the clothes to Kei. Kei never wears his shirt while he sleeps. Just shorts and of course he's not cold because he's a wolf.

"But for what? I'm sleepy, just gonna go to bed." Kei started to lay down his body again.

"Kei, please follow me. You're a submissive sister, aren't you?"

"What the fuck? am I a child still asked like that?" kei protests. Dylan just smiled.

"Sorry, sorry. But put on this shirt and fast, there's no time" Dylan said.

"What the hell is it?" asked Kei who was starting to worry.

"Let me tell you, just put your clothes on first."

Kei immediately jumped out of his bed and started wearing the clothes his brother had given him.

"It." Dylan handed her a backpack. Kei became even more confused. "Ian, get in here."

Ian, who had been standing outside the room, walked in and bowed slightly to Kei, who was still the prince of Lykort.

"We've agreed Ian, go." said Dylan.

"But..." Ian was doubtful.

"You promised" said Dylan again with a pleading gaze. Ian sighed and nodded.

"Sir, what's the matter?" ask Kei who is still confused.

"Let's get out of here as soon as possible. Hide first, brother please Kei. Ian's gonna take you."

"But why? why did Kei have to hide? and what's that sound?" Kei heard a thumping and screaming from the bottom.

Dylan sighed. "We're under attack from Kei."

"What?! same who?"

"It doesn't matter Kei, the most important thing is that you have to go. Hurry up." Dylan pushed Kei's body slowly. Kei was reluctant to leave.

"Where's with you? mom and dad? Aira?" tanyakanya.

"We'll catch up with you" said Dylan. I don't know why he doubted that.

"Oh come on Kei, I beg you." Dylan looked desperate to see his sister who was still silent. He doesn't have much time. The screams and the thump were getting closer. He will indeed catch up with Kei if the time is right. He wants to help his other family first and the one targeted by the attacker is Kei, only Kei. That's why he had to make Kei leave first. Kei finally nodded in agreement even though he was still doubtful and confused. Kei walked out of his room.

"Take a good look at him, Ian." asked Dylan.

"After that I'll pick you up" said Ian and left Dylan alone in the room.

Kei and Ian exited the castle and immediately ran away from the castle. They were chased by wolves but they avoided them and survived. They stopped at a cave. Goa is a goa of his discovery with his brother. Only he and his brother knew about the cave. Ian lit the fire and sat there alert. He looked around them.

"That was Ordovic's uncle, wasn't it? uncle Ordovic attacked us, didn't he?" ask Kei. Ian just kept quiet. "My answer is Ian!! I recognize the wolf we met. It's my uncle's beta."

"It's a good thing he didn't see you before" Ian added.

"What is this Ian? please tell me!" kei Pinta.

Ian sighed. "Your uncle wants to take your father's throne. He wants to be the alpha."

"What?!" pekik Kei's.

"Put down your voice Kei." whispered Ian.

"Uncle attacked his younger brother for the throne?"

"Yes, and for the sake of getting you."

"I? what's wrong with me?" kei asked confusedly.

"It's not me who has the right to say it Kei, let it be after things get better and you go home, your father will tell you."

Kei is getting confused. "No, I beg Ian, tell me."

Ian remained silent. Kei knew his persuasion wouldn't work.

"Ian Morris, I'm prince Kei Lyroso Laros of the kingdom of Lycort, order you to tell me."

Kei used his princely title to get Ian to talk because he knew Ian wouldn't tell him. Ian breathed. He resented not wanting to tell but Kei said it was an order. Ian changed his position that was originally turned to Kei now had turned prostrate to face Kei.

"Because of you..." Ian had already changed his language to formal because Kei used his princely title. "Because you have your grandfather's wolf blood."

"Wolf blood grandpa?" ask Kei.

"Only you're the only one who has your grandfather's wolf blood and your grandfather's wolf blood is rare. Wolf blood is like your grandfather's blood no one has had for a long time. It's been hundreds of years. Then get down to your grandfather then to you."

"What is this blood?" ask Kei.

"True alpha blood. Which means you'll be the alpha of all alphas even if you're at the end of the world."

Kei. Me? an alpha? ask in the heart. Suddenly we heard a heartbreaking howl. Ian looked. He knew it was Dylan's voice.

"Your highness, I'll go pick up prince Dylan. Wait here, your majesty."

"No, I'm coming along" Kei said directly standing up.

"Can't be that noble, dangerous" said Ian preventing Kei.

"I want to know what happened to my family."

"I know, but what they did was to save you because your uncle wanted to kill you."

"What?!"

"Therefore, do not make the efforts of all those who wish to save you in vain, your majesty, wait here. I'll be right back with your family."

Kei finally nodded. "Go." Ian nodded obediently and left Ian.

He's been waiting for a while, but Ian hasn't come back, riling him up. He was afraid of anything happening because he had heard howls. Kei's heart was so troubled that it finally made him go and catch up with Ian. Kei turned himself into a wolf to run faster.

Soon Kei arrived at the castle's backyard. It's full of werewolves. Kei changed his form to human again and walked slowly closer. He could hear his uncle speaking. Kei was approaching now and clearly he saw his father as well as his mother who was hugging four-year-old Aira, while Kei was ten years old. Dylan was also there with Ian and Cavril Morris, Ian's father, beta who was also his father's loyal bodyguard and confidante. Kei saw his father was seriously injured. His head was bleeding, his legs were too. Kei's father held onto his left leg. Dylan is not much different, so are Ian and Cavril. Only her mother is still fine as her mother worries about her young Aira.

"Fred do it." orders Fred's father. Fred grinned and stood up proudly.

"Hurry up, Dylan, don't make me wait." Fred said.

"No, not Ordovic, I beg you. Let me fight." said Kei's father.

"Your Majesty, don't. Let me." said Cavril.

"Wake up the spoiled child!!" snapped Fred at Dylan. Dylan started to stand up but Ian quickly stood up as well.

"I'll replace him" Ian said.

"How dare!!!" Ordovick angry. He had his men beat up Ian.

"No, no! I will fight." said Dylan.

"Dylan.." call his father slowly.

"That's arrogant. Start."

Dylan and Fred turned into wolves. They fought it out. They bite and scratch each other, and also blow. Kei saw his brother overwhelmed because he was tired of fighting earlier while Kei saw Fred was still fresh in shape. Dylan fell limp still with his wolf form.

"Take him out." ordered his father.

"No, don't. I beg you." asked Kei's father. "We'll get out of here and I'll admit you're the alpha, I beg you."

Ordovic laughed with satisfaction. "One more, where's your other son? where's Kei?"

Kei's father fell silent. He didn't answer. He also actually did not know where Kei was. Because the cave Kei was in was only Kei, Dylan and Ian knew. Father's no.

"I'm tired of waiting for my sister. Hurry up" Ordovic said.

"I don't know where he is, really." he said at last.

"Don't fool me."

"I didn't fool you! I'll tell him if I know but I don't know. I beg you, don't kill Dylan." persuaded Kei's father. Kei flinched in surprise. I'll tell him if his father finds out. That's what keeps ringing in his ears.

"Make me the alpha" Ordovic said. Kei's father closed his eyes and with slow and pain in his legs, he stood up. Now Kei saw clearly his father's broken leg. Kei's father then prostrated.

"I'm Oston Ludwig Laros, hereby recognizing Ordovic Cluston Laros as my king and alphae" Kei's father said, bowing.

"You are also Cavril." Ordovic ordered. Cavril changed his position and faced Ordovic.

"I am Cavril Hedrik Morris, hereby recognizing Ordovic Cluston Laros as my king."

"What about alpha?" ask Ordovic. He did not hear the words alpha.

"I can't be your highness. I've made a wolf pact with Mr. Oston. He's my alpha anyway. And also, a beta, loathe to dislike, inevitably, must be loyal to their alpha."

"covenant? interesting." Ordovic smile. "Have found it?"

"Not yet noble" said one of his subordinates.

"It looks like I can't kill the old geezer's direct bloodline. But my brother, eyes paid for with eyes, lives paid for with lives." Ordovic smiled here. " Do my son."

"No!! NOOO...!!!" kei's father shouted hysterically.

Fred who was still a wolf started to bite Dylan who was still lying weakly. Every now and then Dylan fought back but what a force, he was already very weak. Fred pushed hard on Dylan's body and pushed him again. This time he had fallen in front of his father who had been held by several Ordovic's men. Fred doesn't feel enough and wants to bite Dylan again. But suddenly Kei shouted and came to his already very weak brother.

"Dylan. Dylan turned back into a human.

"Bod-doh.. k-ken-what k-k-you kem-bali" said Dylan.

"Dylan..."

"Well, look who's coming." said Ordovic.

"Dylan....no!! Dylan...!!"'s search...!!" kei's cry grew louder and louder to find his brother dead. Her mother and father were crying.

"It's a shame." said Ordovic.

"What did you say?!" ask Kei. Kei was already standing up against Ordovic.

"Kei father please.." his father tried to prevent Kei.

"No father, Kei wants to die." said Kei and instantly turned into a wolf. Kei wolf fur is white and there is a slight gray color on his body and head.

Ordovic laughs. "Look at him, the snot boy wants to fight me."

Ordovic turned into a wolf as well. They both walk in circles. They watch each other. Kei knew he was only ten years old but he didn't care. All he had in mind was to kill the murderer who had killed his brother.

"Kei, stop." persuaded his father. Ordovic is a powerful wolf. Much stronger than Kei, making it a suicidal fight.

"Kei baby, listen to your father." this time his mother spoke.

But Kei didn't listen. He's been growling hard at Ordovic. Soon Kei lunged at Ordovic. Of course Ordovic dodged quickly and attacked Kei. Kei's body crashed hard into the ground. Kei tried to stand back up and directly attacked Ordovic back. But Ordovic is stronger. He was able to dodge and continue to attack again until Kei finally exhausted himself. His body fell on the ground.

"Finally, it's time. I will destroy the owner of your precious blood my dear father. I will not allow any other king besides myself. I'm the alpha of all alphas." Ordovic said in his mind. Kei heard those words.

"Step over my body first."

"It is with pleasure Kei."

Ordovic jumped high and is now on top of Kei. Kei tried to break away but could not because he was only ten years old while that person was forty-five years old and also stronger than him. Ordovic showed his teeth and immediately bit Kei. Kei growled into pain. Ordovic ripped the skin off Kei's shoulder and let go but immediately slammed Kei and continued slamming him. Kei was finally helpless.

"Death to the cursed offspring."

Ordovic wanted to give his last attack and kill Kei. Kei was hit by the attack and did not move again. His father continued to rebel wanting to help but he could not because he was put on hold by some people. Ordovic is back to being human. He's already bare-chested.

"One more is dead, my brother. Our father's descendants no longer exist." said Ordovic.

"YOU--YOU FUCKING ORDOVIC!! I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!!" cry out, Kei's father is angry.

"No, I'm going to kill you and your family my dear brother."

There was a groan from the Kei wolf. Ordovic turned to find Kei moving slowly.

"Let's... My son." call Kei's father.

Kei moved slowly to stand up. Kei looked at Ordovic sharply as he stood straight with his wolf body. Ordovic was surprised to see the change in his eyeballs. The color of Kei's eyeballs that were originally pitch black is now turning white and there is a little black in the middle. Before long Kei's feathers turned pitch-gray and his body enlarged. Even Kei could now stand on his two hind legs. It starts out like a human. Ordovic. He's seen that change before. Kei growled very loudly then howled furiously. Kei looked at everyone nearby.

"Strike him." Ordovic told his men.

Ordovic's men all advanced without fear. But Kei could easily beat all of Ordovic's men. Ordovic's face looked pale. He looks scared. He knew he wouldn't be able to fight Kei now. Kei went to Ordovic and threw him away. Ordovic's body floated up and he turned himself into a wolf before touching the ground. Ordovic growled and started attacking Kei but Kei easily brushed off the attack and instantly countered Ordovic's attack. Ordovic's body crashed roughly into a tree and lay weakly on the ground.

Everyone was surprised by the sight. Kei howled loudly then started attacking the surroundings. Everyone nearby is brutally attacked by Kei. Some have died.

"Kei.." call his father down. He knew for sure his son would not be able to control Kei's dark side like his grandfather used to.

Cavril stood up and tried to restrain Kei, but in vain, Kei did not recognize Cavril anymore. Even Cavril had already crashed on the ground.

"Y...!!! Enough.." call Ian. Ian who is still limp due to the blow he got from Ordovic's men. Kei didn't bully him. He was still attacking the surroundings.

"Let's... Father please... Awake son!!" call father.

Kei looked over and looked at his father. He was silent for a moment then walked towards his father who was still sitting withstanding the pain on his leg. Kei was in front of his father. Their eyes stared at each other.

"Kei.." call his father. His father thought Kei was starting to recognize him until Kei threw his body away. His father lay down and did not move anymore. Mother Kei shouted as she hugged Aira who was already crying tightly. Kei headed to his mother and already raised his hand.

"Let's...!!!" call Ian. Kei stopped his actions and turned his head. "Fight me."

"No son, he is no match for you" said Cavril who had stood weak.

"I have to try dad. Ian's gonna keep Kei away."

"Well, watch out my son, he's very dangerous" Cavril said. Ian nodded.

Ian roared loudly. Ian had already turned himself into a wolf and started running in front of Kei. Ian howled loudly trying to distract Kei and it worked. Kei chased Ian blindly. Ian entered the forest and Kei still followed him. But once in the middle of the forest Ian's steps stopped. He smelled a human there.

'Wawat!! They can be fucked.'

Ian howled back trying to make Kei hear that howl. But too late, Kei has smelled a human. Kei did not head to Ian's howl. He changed his direction towards a group of people who were camping. Kei growling. He was getting closer to the group of people. Kei howled loudly.

"Whatis that? Are there wolves here?" ask one of the people.

"I don't know. But his voice sounded very close. I'm afraid of Drew" said one of the women. The woman tightened her grip on the arm of the man next to her.

"Let's get into the tent" said the man.

"I-ii-that's what?" ask one person there while pointing to the ins and outs in front of him.

Everyone looked in the direction they were heading. Before long the tall shrub seemed to be moving roughly. Everyone there stood in shock. They slowly retreat. Kei came out of the bush and growled loudly. His eyes were full of hunger to eat everyone there. Those people were shocked. They do not know what they see. Kei suddenly attacked one of them brutally. There were screams from some people there. Kei ate some of the person's body and began to turn his eyes on the others. Kei prepared to attack again. But Ian who heard the screams of those people came and faced Kei. Ian howled loudly, asking Kei to stop.

'Hey, stop I beg you. Control yourself!!!'

Ian tried to persuade Kei. But Kei did not care because Kei had lost consciousness completely. It was the monster that controlled Kei completely. Kei jumped high to attack those people. But Ian quickly dismissed Kei's attack. Kei looked angry and fought Ian. Those people ran out of the forest. Kei who saw it immediately ran after them after violently hitting Ian's body. Ian whimpering in pain. But he has to stop Kei. Kei was already in the presence of the person who ran away from him and ate one of those people again. Ian slams Kei's body and bites him brutally. Kei howled in pain. Kei hit Ian. Ian was already very weak now but that did not stop him from stopping Kei. With the rest of his power Ian lunged at Kei. Now Ian's been over Kei's body.

'Kei, awake!!'

Kei was not conscious. It's getting angry. Ian bit Kei's body again. Kei groaned in pain then reached for Ian's wolf's neck and strangled him. Kei throws Ian's wolf body and hits the tree violently and falls to the ground. Ian could not move his body back. He's very weak. Kei stood up again and chased his prey. Kei killed and ate one by one the men and immediately exited the forest. Kei looked at the lights and the houses. Kei howled and immediately ran to those houses. But just ran for a while there were people blocking his way.

"Let's!! Conscious son. It's father.." Kei's father is already in Kei's presence. Kei growled furiously. He hit his father. He was already above his father who was still in a human form. Kei howled loudly and prepared to bite his father but quickly Cavril stabbed a long, silver-colored sword into Kei's waist. Kei groaned in pain and then immediately his body collapsed on his father who was still below him. Kei then turned into a human back and still fainted.

"Kei, my son." said softly Kei's father as he stroked his son's head stiffened.

"Your highness.." Cavril looked down in mourning.

"I've lost both of my children tonight, Cavril." Kei's father cried. Cavril patted Kei's father's punda. Soon, Kei's voice sounded. Kei and Cavril's father were shocked. Kei should have died after being hit by that sword. But Kei is still alive.

"Kei.." his father called. Kei did not answer, only groaned. "Let's take Cavril away."
