Dinner

Plain black gown with sleeves buttoned shirt dress Myria's body. The right and left sides have straps to tie to the waist. The skirt dangles to the ankles with a width of about two meters so as to facilitate movement.

Myria pulled out a long headscarf in matching color with the clothes, then added a bandana veil to cover her face and left only two eyes open.

The notification clink changed Myria's attention from the standing mirror to the phone. He immediately read the message and replied to it. Apparently, Daniel had been waiting in front of the apartment, Myria had to hurry because she did not want to make her father's confidant wait too long.

Arriving in the lobby after descending the floor using the elevator, Myria immediately approached the car whose door was opened by Daniel. After saying thank you, Myria sat quietly in the passenger seat.

The black car that occasionally glistened when the street lights panned was speeding and blending in on the highway. The driver remained silent without saying anything, while the passengers were also silent and busy looking at the city at night.

Azan Isya had just passed a few minutes ago, Myria felt calm traveling after completing the obligation.

“What's up, yes, Om? Why did Dad suddenly ask me to come home?” Tens of minutes of clenched lips, Myria finally opened the conversation.

The ears heard, but Daniel did not want to look back one bit. However, that does not mean he remains silent and ignores Myria when she gets this question. The man who almost every day in a black suit said, “Master Tirta may miss you, Miss. Om was just told to pick up without being told what his reason was.”

Myria sighed. The conversation is no longer interesting with Daniel. His father's personal assistant was difficult to joke around with and more serious during the meeting.

Half an hour away at moderate speed, the road trip was finally completed. Myria began to enter the courtyard of the father's house, where there were many garden lights lit on the right and left of the road before actually reaching the terrace.

Myria's feet were tracing the earth after five minutes spent just to complete the distance of the gate to the terrace. Sometimes, Myria upset herself to see her father's house that has a yard that is too long and spacious so it consumes energy when it wants to be taken on foot.

The whitewashed door with a golden handle opened by domestic workers who were ready to receive the arrival of Myria. The two middle-aged women answered a greeting, then gave a friendly smile.

“Master is waiting at the dinner table, Miss,” said one of the workers as he placed the house slippers near Myria's feet.

Myria retreated a little to keep the courtesy. “Still, Bi.”

The feet wrapped in flat shoes were changed into home sandals first before entering and approaching the host. With the help of existing domestic workers, he left his shoes to tidy up.

Myria's steps went to the dining table which was in the middle room towards the kitchen. He immediately gave his greetings when he knew Mr. Tirta and Andreas were already sitting waiting.

“Dad.” Myira reached out and kissed the back of Mr. Tirta's hand, then moved on to do a tos on Andreas.

“Sit, Nak.”

One seat was pulled by Andreas. The man asked Myira to sit beside him with a head movement. Myria did not mind so she just landed without any burden.

“Why did you call me here? It's not a weekend, Dad.”

The glass of freshly gulped water was placed back on the table by Mr. Tirta. The man rested his chin with two hands, and looked at his two children in turn.

Mr. Tirta's gaze stopped on Myria. He spoke in a calm tone, “Is there a special reason parents meet children?”

“Ah! Bu–that's not what I mean, Dad. Just ... right, usually Dad is busy I'm also busy and just gathered when it's a holiday, Dad.” Myria thinned her lips. He felt that he had made a mistake that hurt his father. “Jadi ...”

“Sureprize!”

“Taraaa .. Mommy cook special laksa noodles and chilli crab for dinner together this time.” Lady Caroline brought a large bowl to the center of the table, then placed it slowly. Behind him, following two workers brought the main dish of mud crab with red sauce.

Myria was speechless seeing what had just happened. Almost a few months ay~~~ah and her sister live in Indonesia without the presence of Mrs Caroline, but tonight the woman is already busy making food without giving any previous news. “A–Dad, Mommy ..”

“Oh, Sweety. Mommy hasn't hugged you.” Lady Caroline approached Myria, then gave a warm hug.

“When Mommy comes?” asked Myria who was still in the arms.

“Three days ago. Mommy purposely asked your daddy to call for us to get together. Rarely, right, we're like this?”

Myria nodded. He was moved to be able to gather with the new family that Mr. Tirta brought to his life. Since long ago, full meetings were rare because everyone was busy.

Myria studied in Turkey, Mr. Tirta was busy wara-wiri to various countries, Mrs Caroline was also busy taking care of other companies, while Andreas was busy studying in the Netherlands and rarely went home.

“Come, eat, Sweety. Mommy wants to talk to you and Andreas.” a lot

Everyone back to their seats. Madam Caroline was most quick to serve her husband and son without dimming a smile from her lips in the slightest.

Myria is lucky to have a mother like Miss Caroline because she never touched on the past. The woman who used to work as a model received Mr. Tirta as he was, even though the memory of her husband recovered. In fact, before Mr. Tirta returned to his homeland to find Mrs Kinara, Mrs Caroline had advised that she would accept the presence of her husband's first wife freely.

“Myria, Daddy and Mommy have great news for you.”

Myria who had just fed the noodle soup stopped sipping. He held his head up to look at his mother. “What is it, Mom?”

“We both will stay longer here to accompany you. So, you better clear your apartment from now on.”

Mr. Tirta nodded in agreement. He did not add to the talk of Mrs Caroline because she was busy eating. However, can Myria see from Mr. Tirta's gaze it was waiting for a response.

“Eum, okay, Mom. Tomorrow I pack some important items in order to stay here.”

“Let Andreas help you.”

The man beside Myria who was busy devouring his mother's homemade noodles gave a thumbs up. Andreas' mouth is full of food, so he has trouble speaking.

Everyone laughed looking at Andreas, then continued to enjoy the dish.

The dinner was full of excitement. Everyone's stomach and heart were so full of food or affection. Myria is lucky her life has not been as difficult since meeting Mr. Tirta.

Although the father still kept her away from Space, Myria did not want to close her eyes on the kindness of another Mr. Tirta.

When the meal was almost over, Daniel suddenly came and whispered to Mr. Tirta. Not long, but the words that Daniel whispered suddenly changed Mr. Tirta's expression.

“S told them to wait. I still want to enjoy dinner with my wife's son.”

“Good, Mr.”
