At first Ayana was unaware of what was really going on, but then as she turned her head up, those sharp eyes looked at her deeply.
A man, with an aura far more terrifying than Nick, the man who had grabbed Ayana's hair, was standing looming before her.
His handsome face looked terrible with a firm jaw and an almost perfect facial line.
Ayana really does not understand how a man like this can exist.
When the perfection is so alluring, but at the same time there is something inside him that proclaims danger to those nearby.
"Juan!"
Cassandra's loud voice resuscitated Ayana from her own mind. The girl realized what was going on and hurriedly stood up while cursing herself.
What am I thinking, anyway?!
Ayana shouldn't waste time daydreaming. This is not the time for that!
And when Ayana was about to get ready to run back, the man named Juan just gripped Ayana's neck firmly.
Strangling her until Ayana has to tiptoe so she can still get enough air for her poor lungs.
Ayana did not expect this man would do this to her. Will he be killed at that time?
"Who is he?"
The man's voice sounded deep and violent as he asked Cassandra, making the woman tremble as he answered her.
"New girl," answered Cassandra timidly, she did not dare to look Juan in the eye, so what she saw was her shoes and the tip of Ayana's feet trying to find a foothold.
Ayana felt her chest burn from lack of oxygen and her vision began to blur.
Am I going to die here? Ayana thought tragically.
Darkness seemed to be Ayana's last resort until someone stepped forward and gently patted Juan on the shoulder.
"The guests are coming soon" said the second man in a bored tone. "Give this girl to me, I love those who are new and still eager to escape, thinking that they can escape from this place."
Juan glanced at his best friend, Carlos, who was grinning at him.
If Juan is winter, Carlos is the spring in which flowers begin to bloom.
However, that does not mean Carlos is not dangerous, it is precisely behind his cheerfulness that lies his brutality.
"Come on, you know what my favorite is" talk Carlos like a kid.
In the next second, Juan threw Ayana's body on the floor and walked as if nothing had happened.
Time is really wasted.
Actually Juan does not always intervene in small incidents like this, it's just that Ayana hit him at the wrong time.
Juan is not in a good mood because there is a business problem going on and all he wants now is to kill anyone who gets in his way.
Ayana gives Juan a reason to channel his anger at inappropriate times.
Luckily, Carlos took an interest in this girl.
Ayana was sitting on the floor, petrified from trying to take in as much air as she could, feeling death just an inch from her.
"Prepare her for me later huh," Carlos glanced at Cassandra, "I want her to wear a white dress," not forgetting she ordered the 'look' she wanted.
White is Carlos favorite color.
The man then crouched down in front of Ayana and placed his finger under Ayana's chin so that the girl could look into her dull brown eyes.
"We'll see you later huh," finished saying that, Carlos landed a kiss on Ayana's cheek, close to the corner of her lips.
The man grinned and left when he saw the shock in Ayana's eyes.
***
Ayana is wearing a white backless dress with her chest open.
With her long hair, she tried to cover the exposed parts, but still, Ayana felt as if she was naked.
Staring around her, Ayana found four other teenagers wearing the same dress as her, only their own were red and slightly shorter than Ayana.
Perhaps this was because their posture was also that much higher than Ayana.
"Hurry out everyone!" Cassandra reappeared from behind the locked door, shouting viciously at all of them.
It seems like her anger towards Ayana is becoming more and more. Cassandra cannot physically injure Ayana, beat or torture her as these girls say, whenever they make a mistake.
Ayana blinked her eyes and bit her lips, knowing that what she was about to face would be worse than just accepting Cassandra's anger.
As Ayana walks out and passes through Cassandra, the woman accidentally puts her foot in front of Ayana and makes herself almost fall down and add bruises on her.
It's just that Cassandra caught Ayana's arm before her sweet face touched the floor.
The woman grinned and said in a cold tone of voice. "Be careful when you take steps."
Although the sentence is like a concern, but actually tucked a threat tone in it.
Ayana immediately straightened her back and released the grip on her painful arm.
"Road!" Cassandra pushed Ayana's shoulders hard and widened her eyes.
Like lambs being herded to the slaughterhouse, they all followed Cassandra obediently, passing through corridor after corridor connecting one place to another.
This time Ayana does not try to escape again, her experience informs her that; once again she commits the foolish act, even Carlos' attraction to her will not save her life a second time.
They stopped in front of a door that had an intricate gold engraving on a solid wood of dull brown.
Cassandra knocked on the door, three taps and someone opened it from the inside.
The man who opens the door is Nick, he glares when Ayana passes him, but can't do anything because Ayana is the girl asked by Carlos.
However, it remained that Ayana was trembling slightly under her sharp gaze.
In the room, the music flowed slowly with the sound of clinking glasses and small talk interspersed with laughter here and there.
Ayana is stunned to see a mini bar inside this room, with a bartender behind the bar table.
The girl had only seen all these things from the silent television show she had seen when Lilian did not realize that she was also watching.
It turned out that it was not only Ayana who dragged when facing seven men who were sitting on the sofa, surrounding the round table, who was, k four other teenagers who incidentally had served men like this also looked frightened and seemed reluctant to walk closer.
Ayana gulped as she caught sight of Carlos, who was already half-drunk, looking at her lustfully.
