Ayana gulped her saliva with great difficulty when she heard that, her hammering heart in her chest was painful, indeed, he even had trouble breathing when he heard this cruel thing from Juan's mouth.
It is not the prison that awaits him if Ayana kills Carlos, but Juan's punishment. And Ayana was very sure that whatever kind of punishment, she would not be able to bear it.
It may be true what Juan said. What Ayana received at this time would look much sweeter than what awaited her later.
“Then from that,” Juan said as he stretched out his hand and put away the strands of hair that stuck to the side of Ayana's face, which now looked very pale. “Then from that, I told you, right? If you want to kill him, do it immediately and don't wait long. But..”
Juan lowered his hand and traced Ayana's jaw down to her neck and then he grabbed her by the small neck.
Ayana's neck was warm in Juan's cold clutches, her body trembling slightly as it traced the curve of her neck and down to her shoulders, tracing Ayana's arm and then stopping in her hand who was grasping sharp scissors.
With ease and no resistance, Juan takes the scissors out of his hand and makes Ayana lose the last thing she can use to protect herself.
Or at least that was what Ayana thought when she grasped the thing. But actually, whatever thing Ayana was holding right now, would not help her at all if she did not have the courage to fight back.
“But..” Juan continued his words in a low and frightening voice. He bent his body until his warm breath swept over Ayana's neck as she whispered. “But, before you take a drastic action, it's good if you think about the next step you're going to take.”
Ayana barely hears what Juan has to say because of the overwhelming fear that has taken hold of her and she is not sure that Juan will just let go.
Because after all, he was just about to kill his best friend and right hand and this was a hard thing to forgive, right?
Ayana moved with care to get away from Juan and also from the bed, where Carlos slept. “Are you going to tell Carlos about this?” he asked, fear emanating clearly from his eyes and expression.
However, this time Ayana ventured to know what kind of destiny she would face after Juan learned of her intentions.
“No,” replied Juan.
This answer was beyond Ayana's expectations and she did not expect Juan to keep this a secret.
“Why?” ayana asked with a frown and a confused facial expression.
“Because even if I hadn't blocked your actions earlier, you wouldn't have done it.” Juan shrugged his shoulders in a nonchalant manner, then he sat on the edge of the bed and looked at Carlos face who was still asleep.
Juan remembered very well how Carlos was so protective of Bianca and how much he adored her. That's the kind of attitude Carlos is showing Ayana at the moment.
Only, Juan did not understand why Carlos treated Ayana so badly that it made this young girl want to kill him?
Or at least that's what Juan had in mind, because after all he did not know what plans Carlos was making for himself by utilizing Ayana.
Meanwhile, Juan's investigation into Ayana has difficulty finding the background of this girl.
“I'll do it,” Ayana said stubbornly. He touched his neck nervously and this gesture caught Juan's attention.
“You'll do it?” juan asked as he raised his eyebrows and smiled mockingly at the bravery and the little stubbornness Ayana was trying to show.
“Iya,” Ayana said in a weak voice, even her own voice sounded not so convincing in her ears.
Juan chuckled, but then Ayana touched his neck again and this made Juan squint his eyes while staring at the small movements made by the girl.
Juan remembered very well the movements made by the girl he had been looking for. She touches his neck whenever he feels nervous and unsure of what to do.
Only, Juan realized, the movement is a common movement to do when someone feels uncomfortable and Juan has made Ayana not calm.
With a heavy sigh, Juan got up from Carlos' bed and walked over to Ayana, while eliminating the stupid thoughts that remind him of the girl he had been looking for just because Ayana made such a move.
“Then, I'll give you a chance.” Juan blessed with a soothing tone. But, those who knew him, knew very well that it was a sign that something big was about to happen and they had to prepare for something unexpected that Juan could do.
“The chance to kill your best friend?” Ayana asked as she looked at Juan directly in her eyes. He really doesn't believe this guy. Juan is hard to guess. He looked authoritative but at the same time dangerous.
Someone who doesn't want you to bother or be the target of his anger.
“Your chance to escape from this place,” Juan said in a calm tone while taking something out of his pants pocket.
The black object was seen shining under the fresh morning sunlight on the horizon and Ayana gasped when she saw the object.
It was a handgun the size of a palm that Juan gave Ayana.
“This way is easier,” Juan said. “You can escape from this place. I've made sure there's no guards out there who'll catch you.”
Ayana felt the small thing in her hand. This was the first time he held this object and was not sure how many lives had been the victim of the hot lead.
“I don't know how..” Ayana wasn't even aware when she said that, but Juan just told her casually.
“Begin how..” Juan tells you which part Ayana should pay attention to from the deadly small object.
During Juan's brief explanation, Ayana was able to understand easily the important parts she had to remember.
“Now the decision is in your hands,” Juan said as he took a step back, but his eyes fixed on Ayana.
The girl weighed the black gun in her hand and when she lifted it, Juan was the target.
