Ayana woke up when she heard the sound of a door opening so violently. Her heavy head due to the drowsiness still lingering in her eyes made Ayana unable to react quickly when someone pressed her body back into the bed.
Even before Ayana realized what was going on, she felt a warm breath and hunted down, blowing around her nape and face, before her lips were crushed by the man who entered her room without this excuse.
Ayana's room is not provided with a key, therefore, anyone can enter her room freely.
During these two days, Ayana always slept overwhelmed with fear. She was afraid that something like this would happen, but after four days had passed and nothing had happened, Ayana started to relax and only this time she was able to sleep a little more comfortably.
However, who would have thought, it was precisely tonight that Carlos chose to come to Diana's room, with a body that emits the aroma of alcohol and female perfume, no matter how many women he had slept with. But why is Carlos still looking for him?
“Do not!” Ayana screams, but Carlos gets angry. He raised his hand and slapped Ayana.
As soon as the slap landed on her cheek, Ayana felt her head as if it was spinning. Carlos, who was under the influence of emotions and lust, was unable to control his mind and energy when he hit Ayana.
“How dare you fight me!” Carlos shouted so loudly that Ayana's ears were ringing. “So, you don't want me, but you want to be with Juan!?”
Ayana did not understand why Carlos said such a thing. Ayana's mind was so foggy after the first slap.
“No,” Ayana said slowly, she tried not to cry as Carlos forcefully pulled the nightgown she was wearing.
“No?” Carlos gripped both of Ayana's hands and held her above his head. He looked at Ayana with anger flaring in both of his eyes. “You said no?! You think I forgot that you had an affair with Juan!?”
The words of Carlos then reminded Ayana of the story of Dalia. Did Carlos misidentify him with Bianca? But, even if it was true, what could Ayana do with that information at a time when Carlos was in a state of turmoil like this?
“I'm not Bianca!” Ayana screams in despair, but all she gets is a new slap in her face and Carlos no longer says anything as she begins to explore Ayana's body violently.
Throughout the night, Carlos treats Ayana nothing more than a shadow of a woman that not even the girl knows. Feeling the outpouring of Carlos anger and frustration, as well as his sadness and despair that he could not show when he was in a conscious state.
But, as before, Ayana did not sympathize at all with Carlos and his suffering.
After the third, fourth and fifth slaps that Ayana got, the girl no longer made a sound, her eyes were looking at the sky, her mind was tricking what she was feeling at the moment.
Ayana thinks she is in a distant place, in a place with the sound of waves pounding and not the sigh of Carlos who hunts.
Ayana thinks she is in a small house with a warm sun and a soft wind.
Ayana thinks she is not here, confined in the arms of Carlos who constantly calls Bianca's name every second.
And when the nightmare was over and Carlos was gone, Ayana opened her eyes, no tears coming out of her two beautiful eyes.
After minutes passed and she was sure Carlos would not return, slowly, Ayana pulled herself from a dream place that she could only see in her mind.
Regardless of the pain all over her body, Ayana picked up all her clothes and put them in the dirty laundry basket that was beside the bathroom door, inside her room, before he went in to clean himself up.
Ayana spent two hours under the shower, making sure every inch of her body was perfectly rubbed and leaving no sign that it had ever happened to her.
After Ayana's skin began to wrinkle, blush and her body began to shiver in the cold, then at that time Ayana came out.
Wearing only a towel, Ayana finds Dalia sitting on the edge of her bed with a glass of warm milk.
Of course Dalia knew what was happening, the sound of Ayana's screams so loud that it was heard to her room that was not so far away.
However, when Dalia doesn't hear Ayana's voice, she thinks the girl's nightmare is over, but she doesn't.
Ayana just shut herself out of reality.
Dalia knew, because many years ago, she had been in the same position as Ayana. He knows what it feels like to feel unappreciated and just taken advantage of.
On the other hand, Ayana looked at the middle-aged woman for a moment before she moved towards her wardrobe and started looking for a comfortable change of clothes for herself to sleep on.
“Drink this first,” Dalia approached Ayana after the girl finished wearing her clothes. He then gave the milk that was still warm in his hand and gripped it into Ayana's two frozen hands.
Feeling the warmth of the glass in her hand, as if melting the cold mask that Ayana had been wearing since, to make tears no longer held back and Ayana cried without a sound.
“Hold Ayana, everything will be fine after this,” Dalia said softly, patting the girl on the back in her arms and muttering words that should make Ayan again have hope.
Ayana did not reply, she just let Dalia hug her tightly and felt her emotions bubbling in her chest.
After being satisfied with crying, Ayana downed her warm milk until the toilet and handed the empty glass to Dalia back.
After feeling better and Dalia treats the wounds on Ayana's body left by Carlos, Ayana goes back to sleep and Dalia returns to her room.
But that doesn't stop the nightmares that Ayana has to go through in the following nights, where Carlos will always come back and do the same thing, over and over again.
After that, Dalia would come over with a glass of warm milk for Ayana, treat her wounds and accompany her until the girl calmed down.
This continued for five nights in a row.
On the sixth night, Carlos did not come, nor did the next night.
However, worse things await Ayana in Carlos' absence. Not from the man, but from the woman that Ayana thought of as a friend.
