Carlos has killed Abby for him and makes his relationship with Sam, one of his confidants being a little disturbed due to this, not to mention Carlos' obsession that arises when Juan is nearby.

So it's certain that Carlos won't just let Ayana die after what she's done for him.

Indeed this was a very big gamble that Ayana did. However, he was convinced that his decision this time was correct.

And by looking at Carlos' changed facial expression, Ayana knew that his decision to challenge Carlos like this was the right step to make the man stop hurting her.

During this time Carlos used violence to hurt Ayana and scare her so that she could not dwell every time Carlos began to show his bad temper.

But, the story will be different when Ayana shows that such methods can not affect her. Carlos has to treat her the way Ayana deserves to be his woman. He could not continuously use force to suppress it.

"If you want to kill me, just do it." Not only Juan can play this game, Ayana can manipulate the situation.

Ayana did not understand what Juan's motive was by opening the incident in front of Carlos.

On the other hand, Juan actually offers protection, which is not in accordance with what he said he had caused Ayana. He should have known that Carlos would be so angry and hurt him.

However, as if Ayana was looking at the world with new eyes, this time she would not allow herself to be toyed with just like that.

"If you really believe Juan's words and want to kill me, just do it." Ayana pushed the handle of the knife in her hand against Carlos' chest, forcing the man to take it.

But, instead of taking the sharp object, Carlos was silent, his eyes looked into Ayana's eyes with a confused look because he did not see any fear there. What Carlos saw was determination.

Ayana is serious about her words and what makes Carlos surprised is; she feels uncomfortable with Ayana's attitude like this…

"Why are you quiet?" tugut Ayana's. "You didn't even ask me first and immediately assumed that what Juan said was true, while you knew that he wanted to destroy you."

Ayana herself was surprised to realize she was able to lie so far. But, also feel satisfied with himself. At least in this way, he learned to protect himself.

In such a harsh world, where any anomic like himself could simply die by just mispronouncing, he had to make use of everything he could utilize.

And after all, his innocence and sympathy would not help him to survive.

"What are you waiting for?" ayanas asked with a red face. "Do. Isn't this what you were gonna do a few minutes ago?"

Ayana continued to urge Carlos, even she grabbed his hand for this man to take the knife in her hand.

With certainty, Ayana gripped the handle of the knife and pointed the sharp part to her chest and right at that moment, Carlos reacted.

As if he had just regained consciousness from a long daydream, Carlos threw the knife at the bed and hugged Ayana very tightly.

"I'm sorry." said Carlos repeatedly to Ayana's ears, her chest rising and falling between her apologies and Ayana could feel her trembling body.

So quickly Carlos changed.

Ayana could not confirm the last thing because she could not see Carlos' face hidden on his shoulders and between his hair. But, from his trembling voice, it seemed like it might happen.

Knowing when Carlos personality will change back, is like walking on a fragile egg shell.

"You don't trust me Carlos and it hurts" Ayana said slowly.

But, Ayana would not allow herself to fall into sympathy anymore. That kind of feeling Ayana had to get rid of before it made her fall even further.

He did this intentionally. He will not make Carlos feel better any time soon after what he has done to him. After all the things he did to her…

Perhaps Juan's plan did not completely fail, because the way Carlos treated him earlier, really aroused Ayana's hatred for Carlos, which he tried to ignore.

"I'm sorry." Carlos kept whispering into Ayana's ear. Apologize sincerely. At least right now he sounds sincere, but no one can guarantee that he will continue to behave like this.

"You don't trust me Carlos.." Ayana again said those words to torment the guilt this man had towards her.

"I trust you." said Carlos. "Of course I trust you, you can't do that kind of thing."

Thinking back, it was difficult for Carlos to imagine Ayana intending to kill him. This innocent woman who always looked so fragile, would not be possible to do it, right? This is just one of the tricks Juan has unleashed to mess with his relationship with Ayana.

That's what Carlos thinks, while failing to see how far Ayana has gone. She was no longer the girl she was in her shadow.

"You really believe me?" ask Ayana. There was a mysterious look that flashed through his eyes when he asked that.

Ayana did not say that she had never tried to kill him before and also never said that Juan was lying, but that he behaved in such a way that made Carlos believe in this attitude of his.

Ayana then raised her hand and rubbed Carlos back slowly, making the man become a little relaxed because of it.

After which, Ayana took off the man's embrace from him and cupped her hands on both sides of Carlos face while looking at him deeply.

"I don't want to fight with you, and I don't want any outsiders ruining this relationship, so I hope you'll always trust me" Ayana said in a slow and sincere voice. "I want to be with you," the girl emphasized her words again.

Then, without Carlos expecting it, Ayana tiptoed and peeked both of her cheeks, her forehead, her chin, her nose and lastly this girl gave a sweet kiss on her lips…

"Trust me" said Ayana, looking through Carlos' hair between her fingers and looking at the man nodding.

"I trust you," he said as he leaned over to slowly kiss Ayana on the forehead and hugged her tightly.
