"That's not necessary, because Carlos will feel the same way" Sam replied. He then looked at Hailee with a gaze that implied hostility.
"You're gonna hurt me?" ask Ayana, who then keeps a little distance from Sam. He glanced at the two men, who were following behind them and felt a little safer.
"There's no need to look at me like that" Sam replied in a voice that was almost like a growl. "I won't do anything to hurt you. But someone else will do it. You think having Carlos and being his woman will keep you from the constant dangers of loving him? Your life won't be as easy as Ayana looks."
Ayana frowned and threw a questioning look at Sam. "What do you mean?"
"When Carlos' enemies can't get to him, of course they'll target an easier target, you," Sam said. "Because you're the woman."
Sam understands that Ayana is as surprised as Carlos was last night, but this does not allow him to forget what he witnessed when death approached Abby in such a way.
Hearing Sam's reply, Ayana fell silent. Of course it was true and Ayana was quite aware of it, but what choice did she have when things got so hard? In Ayana's life, there is never an easy choice.
They were silent until Sam and the two men drove Ayana to her room. However, before that, Sam entered the room first followed by Ayana while two other men waited at the door.
"I'll check this room first" Sam said in a mutter when Ayana went into the room and wanted to lie down immediately because her head was dizzy and a little nauseous. Maybe this is seasick? Ayana is not sure.
Sam went into the room and checked while Ayana was walking towards the bed, but before she arrived, someone had pulled her body and smothered her mouth before she could scream.
His back was forced to stick to the wall.
And Ayana was wide-eyed when she saw who this attacker was. Juan! How could this man be in the room?
In a panic, Ayana turned her gaze around the room, Sam must still be there, right? He needs to see this and help her.
But, Ayanas blood rippled coldly when she saw Sam standing behind Juan, doing nothing.
What the fuck is this?! Has Sam betrayed you? He betrayed Carlos? It's not impossible, after what Carlos did to Abby, it seems Sam can't take it well. This is not the first time Carlos has made a bad decision.
"You can go" Juan told Sam. I'll call you later.
Hearing that, without looking at Ayana, Sam nodded and walked away, leaving Juan alone with Ayana.
Ayana's eyes widened as Juan's hands began to explore her body and lifted the blue T-shirt she was wearing.
With her body squeezed between the wall and Juan's body, Ayana could not escape, and again her strength was simply not comparable to this man.
Ayana tried to scream but her voice was muffled by Juan's large hand, while her other hand lifted Ayana's shirt to the chest and her movements stopped when Juan saw the scar.
The meeting has been running for more than fifteen minutes to discuss some businesses in some places, only there are some things that interfere with the course of this meeting, he said, one of them is Juan's absence represented by his lawyer.
This is quite disturbing for other investors, but very disturbing for Carlos. There was only one place he could think of Juan going to if he missed this important meeting and that was wherever Ayana was now.
However, had he not sent two men with Ayana and there was Sam. They'll call him right away if anything happens, won't they?
Juan stared at the burn on Ayana's left waist and immediately his face hardened. She stared at him for a long time until Ayana stopped struggling and became confused by the reaction Juan gave after seeing his burns.
Could it be that this wound left Juan feeling no taste and disgusted at her? This of course makes Ayana relieved if Juan did nothing to her, but in an intense face like this really makes Ayana uncomfortable.
"Have you ever lived in the city of R and you got this burn from a fire that happened there?" juan asked in a voice that was like a whisper.
Ayana looked at Juan and for the first time she saw anxiety in the look of her cold eyes.
"I will let you go, but don't shout, otherwise I will have no choice but to kill whoever enters this room" Juan said threateningly, but also he hoped Ayana stopped to fight him. He needs to talk to this girl.
Ayana frowned, but then nodded.
Slowly, Juan lowered his hand and let Ayana catch her breath. The girl begged as Juan rubbed the side of her face and tucked the strands of her hair behind her ears. Juan also took down his clothes and tidied them up.
This movement of course made Ayana confused. What exactly does this guy want?
"Now answer me" said Juan. Waiting for the answer to the question that Ayana has not answered. "Did you get this wound from a fire ten years ago? And a teenager who helped you?" ask him in succession.
Ayana frowned, but then nodded slowly. "Where do you know all that?" Especially in the part of him that had been saved by a teenager.
That part was the part that Ayana remembered recently, when accompanying Carlos walking in the park at night and the man again asked about his past.
And unexpectedly, Juan hugged her gently while closing his eyes. This made Ayana's body stiffen, but to her surprise, Ayana did not feel afraid of Juan like this. He feels. protected…
For some reason Ayana felt such an absurd feeling, as if she had known Juan before this.
"I finally found you." said Juan like a warm sigh in Ayana's ear, but this made her stomach feel uncomfortable. "Ayana, I'm the teenager" Juan said.
Her forehead stuck to Ayana's forehead while the girl looked at her in confusion, before finally an understanding flashed in her eyes.
