Tarisa Recognition

That afternoon Mirza's car finally arrived at the courtyard of a tomb in a small town about three hours drive from Surabaya.

"Tok us to the tomb anyway, Mas?"

"There's something I want to show you."

Mirza got out of her car and entered the cemetery and stopped in front of a tombstone bearing the words Gandhi Pratama bin Husain.

"This?" jessy didn't believe it.

"Yes, Mel. This is your father's grave. A few years ago, papa served in this city and handled hit-and-run victims who had no relatives. After he died, he was buried here."

"But how did Mas Mirza know that this was my father?"

Mirza handed Melva a wallet she wrapped neatly with a plastic bag.

Jessy opened the wallet and found a picture of little Melva smiling with her parents.

Jessy cried to see Melva's sweet smile in the photo. He did not know why bad luck kept on befalling the sweet girl. Melva is not even a bad person but she never seems to get justice and is always a victim.

"That's all, Mas. I'm not papa." Jessy folds Melva's dad's wallet back.

But as he was about to put it in the bag, he saw a small photo fall from the wallet. Jessy took a photo that looked broken for too long in the damp wallet. But even though it was faint, he could clearly recognize the face that was inside the photo. Melva's father, Evan's mother, and his young father were there.

Meanwhile, Evan has been investigating for days about his mother's alleged involvement in the Melva accident case. The more he knew the facts, the more he was astonished by what his mother had been doing all along.

Through the words of his mother's assistant and personal driver, Evan learns that on the day of Melva's accident, his mother was on her own in the black SUV.

Even Evan also had heard from one of his friends in Oversea that on that day, he had indeed crossed paths with his mother Evan at the gate to the sports building where the accident occurred.

Not only that, according to the owner of the garage subscription Tarisa, the car was once repaired because it suffered some dents and scratches on the front. He said he hit a pole.

Although not managed to get a single cctv recording, but Evan felt that his suspicions were very reasonable. Moreover, all the information he gathered did lead to his conjecture.

That day, Evan meets James at a rehabilitation center. He wanted to be sure of what Jessy told him.

Evan went straight home to see his mother.

"Hi, Van. What was? Tumben's coming home at this hour?" ask Tarisa who is reading a magazine in the middle room.

"Ma, Evan wants something for Mama."

Tarisa closed her magazine and put it on the table. He then returned to his original sitting position and leaned back on the sofa.

"What's up, Van?"

"Did you know about Melva's accident?"

"Melva? Why is it suddenly the same mama?"

"Answer, Ma!"

"You don't know why you have to answer your silly questions" Tarisa said, drinking her tea.

"Because someone saw you coming out of the fire that day and it was as if you were deliberately speeding to hit Melva."

"And you believe?" ask Tarisa relax.

An image message went into Evan's phone.

"Mama has no reason to admit to such a rich silly thing, Van."

"Oh yeah?" evan asked with emotion. "What about this?"

Evan shows a picture of his mother with Gandhi Pratama and Tomi Abraham. This time Tarisa was quite surprised but he tried to control his emotions well.

"What happened to that photo?" tanya Tarisa is acting stupid.

"What is your relationship with Melva's father, Ma?"

"He's mama's friend. Just like Jessy's dad. Where's problem?"

"But Om Tomi said something different."

Evan plays a voice recording of Tomi Abraham who says that Tarisa was once close to Tama, her father Melva but their relationship is opposed to the Tarisa family. In the end Tarisa married her father Evan and founded MicroChip.

After his father Evan dies, MicroChip is taken over by Mr. Joe, the largest shareholder who was later involved in a corruption case and was arrested. Now, MicroChip is back in the hands of Evan as the legitimate heir to the famous IT company.

"That's a story of the past, Van."

"That's exactly it, Ma. Evan doesn't understand why you have to go that far with Melva? What's wrong with him, Ma? He never even knew his father's past had grown up without his father. Why did Mama do that, Ma? Why?!!!!" evan snapped while crying.

He was really disappointed in his mother. The woman who was so adored and loved it turned out to do such a cruel thing.

"But why didn't Mama ever tell me that Mama owns the real MicroChip, Ma? Evan foolishly became a fool Mr. Joe doesn't know what your real purpose is. You've even almost harmed Melva many times just to save yourself."

"Mama can't say that our MicroChip, Van. Mama has to protect your papa."

"What does mama mean? What'sthis?" Evan turned over the illicit drug dealings involving his parents. "Mama killed Melva to save herself mama."
