Mission Jessy

Mission Jessy
Other facts

After Melva's arrival to her home that night, Mirza decides to return to campus. Although he tries to keep his distance and act cool to the girl after knowing the reason for leaving Mirza first.

Mirza, who feels bad because of her father's involvement in the death case of Lili, Melva's best friend, also does not want to force her feelings on Melva anymore. He chose to give up and flow as it is.

But Mirza's cold attitude actually makes Jessy more challenged. She loves Mirza who is as cute and easy going as she is. He felt he found a character that fit and fit him.

The more Mirza doesn't care about her, the more Jessy teases her. Starting from secretly giving food on his desk, preparing presentation materials for him to give the most popular love novels of the time on his teaching table.

At first Mirza remained unconcerned despite often finding food on her desk or finding presentation material on the screen when she entered class. But seeing there is a love novel on the table where he teaches apparently successful to make Mirza in the fog.

However, he did not want his image as a cool, smart and scientific lecturer suddenly destroyed because of the fiction novel. He hastily covered the novel with his material book before any of his students saw it and of course Jessy laughed happily at the funny behavior of his beloved lecturer.

Feeling humiliated again by Melva, Mirza deliberately gave him a practice problem that made him have to stay in class if he could not solve it. And thanks to that, that day Melva really had to go home two hours later than usual.

*******

Despite being bullied by Mirza, Jessy was very happy that day. At least Mirza returned to being a normal man who had shame and other emotions, not just a statue that kept trying to hide his feelings to everyone including himself.

When he was about to enter the house, a car entered his yard. When the engine and lights are turned off, Jessy can only see that it is a black SUV with license plate number B 1174 ** . Evan is seen coming out of the car and hugging Jessy, who is glued to it warmly.

"I deliberately brought a car from Jakarta to take you to Bromo."

Not hearing an answer from Jessy, Evan finally let go of his embrace. Jessy's body trembled, her face still looking shocked and tears welled up in her eyes.

"Darling, are you worried because I brought a car from Jakarta? Don't be afraid. I've got David, he's sleeping in the car."

"Is this Evan's car?" jessy asked in a raucous voice and quivered.

"No. My car's in the garage again. It's me pinching mama's car."

"What?"

Jessy recalled James' words back then, about the type, color and license plate of the car that hit Melva. Also about James's belief that the rider is a woman because wearing his finger looks flat on the steering wheel and wearing a ring on his left pinky finger that sparkles in the sunlight and looks faint from outside the window glass the dark car.

"Darling, what's wrong with you?"

Jessy was holding her chest up and down. He almost fell because he had trouble breathing. It was fortunate that Evan swiftly restrained his body.

Jessy hurriedly entered the room and locked the door from the inside. Evan chases after her and banged on the door, asking Jessy to open it.

"Son Evan, what's going on? why fuss?" ask Ms. Rahma who just came out of her room.

"Melva, Mom. I don't know why Melva. Everything was fine, but she was suddenly shocked and frightened to see me coming with a car. Now he's locked himself in the room."

Madam Rahma was as confused as Evan. By hearing Evan's explanation alone can not make Ms. Rahma understand the strange attitude of her daughter. But he knew exactly that forcing Melva would yield nothing. Maybe even add to the commotion.

"Son Evan, Evan's son just arrived. It's best for Evan to take a shower and rest first. About Mel, just let him calm down. He'll be out on his own."

"Eh, is there a David boy too? Comein!"

"Thank you, Mom."

"Sit down first. You must have cape's been driving very far. Let me make you drink first?"

"Lo why the hell, Bro? Really tangled? Shouldn't you be able to meet this guy?" david asked after Rahma went to the kitchen.

"Ngga know, Vid. Melva was suddenly startled and crying as soon as I knew I was riding in the car."

"Hemmm, she must be worrying just as good, Men."

"The problem is, he gets weird when he finds out that the car is Mama's car. I'm sure something's not right."

"Liet bro! We're here, tomorrow you can talk about him again. Btw, this is your house so small yak? I didn't see any guest rooms. Where do I sleep?"

Evan directed his gaze towards the sofa they were sitting on.

"Here?" ask David to make sure. "A joke, right?"

And so it was, after a shower and dinner, they ended up sleeping on the sofa that night.

*******

Jessy couldn't sleep that night. He kept thinking about the possible reason Tarisa had to kill Melva. Jessy remembers very well that Evan only happened to know Melva on a trip to her house and they never met again after that. So Jessy is convinced that Evan is not the reason Tarisa committed such a heinous crime.

Then he thought of another reason. Could it have something to do with Jessy? But Jessy is convinced they don't know each other that well until Tarisa finds out that Melva is guilty of having an affair with James, Jessy's lover.

Moreover, their triangular relationship had absolutely nothing to do with Tarisa and Evan. What's more, if it was for Evan, upset to know his son's future wife was having an affair, he should have blamed it on James, not Melva.

As hard as Jessy tried to think about Tarisa's motive for killing Melva, she found no plausible link at all. So he was almost certain that James might have seen it wrong or remembered the license plate wrong.

For Jessy to blame James remains easier than solving puzzles far from the word for sure. Jessy convinces herself that James may have misbehaved or deliberately accused Evan's mother of ruining Melva and Evan's relationship.

But for what? What good is James ruining Melva and Evan's relationship? James should be grateful that thanks to Evan, he should not be forced to marry Melva. Or maybe James really loves Melva and doesn't want Melva to marry Evan?

Just the thought of that made Jessy's heart ache and her chest burn with jealousy. However, he still cannot accept that Evan betrayed him with another girl, even more so that the girl is Melva, the body he has now.

"Can't! I can't answer this question alone." Jessy muttered to herself.

"But what is it I have to discuss this same Brother Evan. Is this about her mother? What if my suspicions are wrong? He would have hated me and wronged me for slandering his mother."

Jessy again hit her head that felt deadlocked to the back of the bed. His mind was really fucked that night. And because he did not get an answer all night, in the morning he decided to discuss this with Evan. After all, he was the one person who had the most potential to have a lot of information about Tarisa as well as Melva.
