Jessy's choice for Melva
That morning Melva arrived at the Olympic Games. He registered to get the participant's card and equipment that he would use in the math Olympics that day.
"Melva?!" Ms. Karina, a math teacher at Galaxy High School, was surprised to see Melva there. "What are you again?"
"You go to the Olympics, ma'am." Melva replied briefly.
He knew that Ms. Karina must be confused by Melva's answer. But he did not want to give a long explanation to the people who did not try to keep him at all when the headmaster threw him away like a wild cat.
"Mel, are you ready?" asked Mr. Roy, math teacher at Merlion High School, Melva's new school.
"Already, Mr."
"Sir Roy?"
"Mother Karina?"
Roy finally kindly explained that Melva will represent Merlion High School in the national mathematics olympiad this time. And that explanation is enough to make Bu Karina worried because she knows very well the ability of Melva who has been under his care.

The Olympics began and all the students were concentrating on their computers. Melva looks very calm but confident so Roy is also relaxed waiting for the implementation process in front of the test room.
While Karina was the opposite, he felt very anxious and did not believe his team could compete to beat Melva who turned out to have solved all problems seven minutes before the test time ended.
An hour later, they got the announcement of the results and Melva managed to top the rankings as a representative of DKI Jakarta province and Merlion school. While representatives of the Galaxy SMA should be satisfied ranked eleven, far below Melva.

Principal Galaxy fires a beard. Last year Melva managed to become a champion and honor the name of the Galaxy but this time he actually catapulted the name SMA Merlion which became a heavy competitor Galaxy.
"Mr.Joseph, how can you accept and take advantage of married students just to win the Olympics?"
"Where's the problem, Mr Fatir? We only give our best a chance to win" Mr. Joseph, principal of Merlion High School.
"You know very well the reason we disqualified Melva and kicked her out of school."
"It was Galaxy's choice, but we had different thoughts. Our students may make mistakes, and our job as educators is to educate them to know their mistakes, regret them and correct them later on. If we just throw it away for fear of our good name being tainted, what is it worth mentioning as an educator? After all Melva is very intelligent, it is a pity that she has to lose her future just because of a small mistake." Mr. Joseph explained at length
"Little? If you think such a mistake is a small thing, then other students will consider it the same. And can you imagine what our younger generation would be if we considered promiscuity and early marriage as commonplace?"
"Did Mr. Fatir ever ask how Melva got pregnant out of wedlock? I doubt Mr. Fatir knew that Melva was raped by one of the famous athletes and was forced to marry Evan to cover up the disgrace of the poor girl."

Not having a lot of time at Merlion High School, Jessy spends all her time chasing her down with great study. Jessy does not want to disappoint Melva who is eager to graduate with satisfactory results. He also wants to make amends to Ms. Rahma by making her feel proud of all of Melva's achievements and achievements.
The exam time came and Jessy got through it really well. She felt so grateful that Melva was born with such a brilliant brain, so he does not need to feel tormented just because he has to memorize many formulas or recall everything he has read like before when he was still in his own body.
The results of the graduation exam came out and as expected, Melva again appeared as the top rank in the Merlion. He received an award in the form of a certificate and also a scholarship to enter a top university in the capital city.
But for now, Jessy doesn't want it yet. For him, it was enough. He doesn't want to go to college in the same place as most of his schoolmates now. So he started thinking about choosing a campus outside the city and starting a new life there.
"Mel, why did you refuse to enter the UI, son? Isn't that what you've always wanted?" ask Ms. Rahma.
"Sorry, Mom. Mel really wanted to go to college there. But after what happened, Mel felt very depressed if he had to meet with Mel's High School friends and people who knew Mel. Because of that, Mel wants to study outside the city, Mom. Mel wants to find a new atmosphere and start a new life Mel there."
Ms. Rahma understood very well the feelings of her daughter at that time. They have been through a lot of hard times and it is only natural that Mel would want to forget everything and start over.
"What about Evan? Does he agree?"

The night before, Jessy had already discussed about her intention of studying outside the city with Evan.
"Are you sure, Jess?"
Jessy nodded confidently.
"I work here and for now, it's going to be very difficult if I have to move out of town. There's a lot of things I need to finish here."
"Ngga problems. We can still get LDRs, right? Now it's easy, there's been a phone, a vidio call, we can keep connected anytime and anywhere."
Evan just fell silent and looked into Melva's eyes deeply. He knows that even if he disagrees with the girl's wishes, he won't get anything because he believes Jessy will go with her.
But somehow he felt he would lose the girl if he let her go that time. Evan knew it was absurd because the distance between Jakarta and Surabaya only took an hour to travel by plane. But that anxious feeling kept bothering him.
"Of all the cities, why Surabaya, Jess?"
"Okay, I'm not sure either. But there was a strong urge within me to go there. There were overlapping feelings I couldn't understand and I felt like I had to figure it out myself and straighten it out." Jessy doesn't want to tell Evan that she wants to leave after reading Melva's diary she accidentally discovered some time ago.
"If that's the only way to make you feel calm, go!"
