Bak was struck by lightning in broad daylight, Azzam's heart felt like it wanted to be dislodged from its place. Alana's very clear screaming voice in the ears made her run up the wooden stairs and push the door violently.
Braaac...
Azzam gasped as his bead of eyes caught the whereabouts of Alana who was roaring in pain. When the bag of crackle in Azzam's hand was released, he rushed to Alana and dropped his body in front of his wife.
"Al, what's going on? Why did you get here? Wasn't that..."
"Awww..."
At once Azzam's face looked pale white so afraid to see the situation Alana, of course he did not want something bad to happen to his wife again.
Without a second thought Azzam swiftly lifted Alana's body and took her to the room, Azzam laid Alana on the bed and sat down beside her. "We're going to the hospital! You gotta..."
"Go away, leave me alone! I'm useless, I..."
"Sstt... Enough's enough!" cut Azzam with a high voice. This time he really was not strong to face the attitude of Alana who always just drove him from that place.
"Look at me this time!" pinta Azzam with sharp bulging eyes. Tell me you don't have any feelings for me! Make me realize that my love only claps one hand!" without feeling Azzam's tears suddenly crept down his cheeks. "Please, Alana! Tell me that you never wanted me!" added Azzam with breath stuck in the throat, while Alana who heard it was only silent a thousand languages.
"All right, I get it. Tonight I will leave, not only from this place but also from your life. Reassure your heart that you will not grieve when you lose me!"
When Azzam was about to stand up, Alana suddenly grabbed his wrist and asked softly. "Where are you going?"
"Don't Azzam, please." sidelines Alana shed tears.
"Why? Isn't this what you want?" azzam asked with blood flowing to the crown.
"No, please.." Alana's gnarled crying as she pleased.
Azzam then fell silent and scrambled his hair in frustration. A second later he rubbed his face violently and inhaled as much air. He really did not understand what his wife wanted.
"I-i..." Alana was increasingly powerless to hold back her tears, saying that she loved Azzam very much. Maybe she could live without her husband.
"Tell me! Whatever it was, I was ready to accept it." said Azzam in a low tone, he clasped Alana's hand with one hand while the other touched the wife's wet cheek. Alana herself just silently stared at Azzam's bead without blinking.
"Yes, I'm really tired of arguing with you. Let me stay here tonight, take care of you and keep you company for the last time!"
Azzam distanced himself from Alana then left the room with a raging feeling. Angry, sad, confused, all flavors mixed into one. Azzam himself did not know what else to say.
Azzam chose to go back to the entrance and pick up the bag of crackles he had dropped. Luckily the food is still intact and worthy of consumption.
Immediately Azzam brought the bag to the kitchen and prepared it with an erratic feeling. I don't know, I'd really like Azzam to scream and destroy the things in the house but it's impossible to remember there's Alana there. She did not want to make Alana even sadder and feel depressed when she was with him.
