Chapter 24.

As Alana was about to open the door, Azzam suddenly hugged her from behind. "Don't go, stay there!" pinta Azzam, she knows Alana has no place to live other than that apartment. Where's Alana going?

Alana shed tears, her chest still claustrophobic considering Azzam's words. "For what? Am I not a nobody to you anymore? I don't deserve to occupy that apartment."

Azzam flicked Alana's hair forward and kissed her nape repeatedly. "You're so precious to me, I don't want to see you suffer out there."

"What if I suffer? Isn't that what you want?"

Alana sobbed considering Azzam's indifference to her, but she had tried to open her heart and learn to accept Azzam as her husband, but a little misunderstanding had ruined everything.

"No Alana, I never wanted that. Please understand, I just want to see you happy. I know what it's like to lose someone we love so much, lest you regret losing the man you love!" shivering Azzam with a quivering voice, his heart sliced saying that.

"How many times do I have to tell you? I have nothing to do with that man anymore. I never met and communicated with him. The meeting was unintentional, and I had no more feelings for her." Alana was emotionally charged.

"Just talk about that guy, I'm tired of arguing with you. If you can't trust me, then what is this relationship going on for? Let me go, if need be I will disappear from your life forever." sob Alana.

Azzam was surprised to hear Alana's words just now, he himself would not be able to lose Alana. "Don't say that, I'll also disappear from this world if you disappear from me."

"Then what should I do, Azzam? You're still mad at me because of that, but you don't want to let go of me either. What am I supposed to do?" isak Alana.

Azzam let go of his embrace and twisted Alana's body, the two facing each other with tears continuously flowing down each other's cheeks.

"Don't cry anymore, please!" Azzam wiped Alana's cheek with his palm, he couldn't bear to see that.

Alana could not help the sadness in her heart and threw her body into Azzam's arms. "I'm sorry, I promise I'll avoid meeting that guy, I'll try to be a good wife to you too."

"Here, don't talk anymore! I've never been mad at you, I'm just disappointed in myself."

Azzam held Alana tightly and rubbed her back with gentleness.

After Alana's cry subsided, Azzam released his wife's body and took her back to the gurney. Although in a limp state, Azzam still braced himself to step up.

Then the two sat on the side of the gurney, Alana resting her head on Azzam's shoulder in a state of sobbing.

"Here, don't cry anymore! I'm going home to the apartment, I'm not going anywhere." Azzam persuaded while rubbing Alana's head fondly.

"Promise?" Alana looked up at her husband's face.

"Yes, I promise." Azzam slightly lowered his gaze back to Alana and wiped her face back.

Without asking for permission, Azzam kissed his wife's eyelids, then kissed Alana's forehead, nose and cheeks gently.

"Why stop?" alana asked after Azzam turned his lips away.

Azzam carved out a smile and scrambled Alana's hair in a daze.

"Azzam.." lamented Alana with pursed lips.

"Hehe... I'm afraid of being hit again, it doesn't feel good." Azzam laughed a little and laid himself in the gurney.

Alana took the keys to the apartment she put in the gurney. He asked for permission to go home, he had not had time to shower because he did not have a change of clothes.

As he was leaving the room, the door suddenly opened. Alana stopped her legs when she found a nurse who came to bring food for Azzam.

The nurse thrust a tray into Alana's hand, the girl took it and put it on the nightstand.

Aware of the arrival of Erni who was not invited, Azzam then threw his face in the other direction.

Alana who did not know Erni suddenly frowned and turned her neck towards Azzam. Alana was confused to see her husband turning his face away.

Then Azzam told the nurse who was changing the infusion.

Azzam expressed his intention to be outpatient because he felt his body had improved.

Of course it was not the main reason, which clearly Azzam did not want to linger seeing Erni's face.

Erni did not say anything after hearing Azzam's words earlier, she instead focused on looking at Alana and invited her outside. There was something he wanted to say to his daughter-in-law.

Hearing Erni taking Alana along with her, Azzam suddenly twisted his neck and looked at the woman sharply. Azzam forbade his wife to obey his mother's request.

Alana herself was increasingly confused to see the cold attitude of Azzam, when the memory of Alana was fixed on the words of her husband a few days ago.

Well, it seems Alana is starting to understand why Azzam is acting that way. Alana tries to convince her husband, he won't be long.

At first Azzam strongly opposed his wife's request, but Alana tried to persuade him until Azzam was forced to allow it.

Arriving outside, Erni invites Alana to sit in the waiting chair. The middle-aged woman was very happy to see Alana who managed to melt the hardness of Azzam's heart, Erni was sure Alana was able to turn Azzam into a better man.

Before saying what he wanted to say, Erni introduced herself first, Erni did not even hesitate to hug her daughter-in-law.

"Thank you for being Mom's daughter-in-law, I'm glad that Azzam isn't alone anymore."

Erni rubbed Alana's hair like a child. She was sure Alana was a good woman, from the way Alana spoke Erni could already judge her.

"Please take care of Azzam for Mother, learn to understand! He's actually a good kid, but sometimes his attitude is too childish. He felt like everyone had left him, he needed attention like a child." Erni explained.

"What actually happened? Why did Azzam isolate himself from his own family?" ask Alana to know.

Erni let out a long sigh and threw it away violently. "The story is long, you don't know how to start."

"The point is please stay with Azzam, I see he is very comfortable with you." added Erni.

"Yes, I'll learn to understand him." nods Alana.

"Again thanks. I'll tell you everything, but not now. Azzam doesn't like to wait long, I don't want to see you guys fight."

Erni pulls out the phone from the bag and asks for Alana's number.

After Azzam recovered, he would arrange a time to meet his son-in-law and tell her everything. Erni believes Alana can make Azzam soften over time.

"Come in!" erni said, then she chose to leave the hospital.

His heart was quite relieved after leaving Azzam to Alana. Erni is convinced Alana can make her wish come true. Alana could definitely melt Azzam's already hardened heart like a mountain rock.
