Married for Slander
Chapters 16.

The next day, Azzam was well dressed. He was wearing a white shirt wrapped in a black suit and matching leather shoes.

After making sure it looked really neat, Azzam left the room and walked towards the dining room.

It just so happened that Alana had prepared breakfast and arranged it on the table.

"Why aren't you ready?" azzam asked as he pulled up a chair and sat down to enjoy breakfast.

"Where are you going?" Alana asked back and brought a cup of coffee and put it on the table and sat down next to Azzam.

"Work dear, where else?" Azzam moved his hand and rubbed Alana's head.

"Well, did you forget?" Alana frowned as she filled the plate with food and placed it in front of Azzam.

"Don't forget, but your resignation hasn't been approved." Azzam grabbed a spoon and started eating his food.

"Leave it, I'm not interested in working for that company anymore." Alana then filled her plate and ate voraciously.

"Why? Is something wrong?" azzam asked turning his neck towards Alana.

"No, I just want to be home." replied Alana with her mouth filled with food.

"You sure? Aren't you going to be bored at home all day?" ask Azzam again.

"Bored for sure, but... I'm sick of seeing his boss, his face is hidden? I have made mistakes twice, I also chose to resign, embarrassed to go back to the company." explained Alana.

"Why should I be ashamed? The name of a human must have made a mistake, the point is not to be repeated again." said Azzam.

"Come on, I-I"

"Yes, finish the food first, then change clothes, I'll wait for you."

"But-"

"It's okay, let me talk to the boss."

"You familiar?" Alana squinted at Azzam.

"Yes, he's my friend." nodded Azzam.

"Friends?" Alana repeated the word while glaring at Azzam. "Oh, means-"

"Yes, I asked him to accept you as secretary." Azzam cut.

"You?" Alana looks upset. "Bas based on a liar! That time you didn't know anything." Alana was about to leave the table but Azzam quickly prevented her.

"Don't be angry, I mean good. If I'm honest that day, you won't take the job." Azzam said.

"But still you're lying." lamented Alana with pursed lips.

"What else?" alana asked with a sharp look.

"Eat it get ready first, then also know for yourself." Azzam carved a faint smile towards Alana.

"Bodo very, I don't want to come with you." Alana got up from her seat and chose to go into the room.

Seeing Alana angry, Azzam rubbed a rough face, he felt guilty.

Then Azzam finished his meal and sipped the coffee that Alana made for him, after which followed Alana to the room.

Finding Alana lying on the bed, Azzam approached her and sat down on the side of the bed.

"Dear, don't sulk dong! I didn't mean anything, just to help. I knew you needed a job and you weren't ready for this wedding. If I gave you money straight away, you would have refused." explained Azzam Lirih as he rubbed Alana's head.

"If you don't want to work anymore, it's okay, you're home."

Azzam got up from his seat and stepped towards the door.

"I want to work, but-"

"But what?" azzam asked turned around.

"I don't want to be a secretary, I want to be an ordinary staff." added Alana.

"Oh, if that depends on the boss. Tell him yourself later!" Azzam took pains to hold back the laughter.

"Yes, wait for me!" Alana jumped down from the bed and rushed to change clothes. Azzam himself chose to wait in the living room.

A few minutes later, Alana came out with a very neat appearance. Her hair was in pigtails with as much natural makeup as possible, wearing a white shirt and black pants that fit perfectly on her skin.

"Already," cried Alana as she walked toward Azzam.

"Hmm.." murmured Azzam gripped Alana from head to toe. Beautiful, but Azzam tried to refrain from saying anything, he did not want to make the mood of Alana drop again.

The two left the apartment and went downstairs. Azzam picks up the car in the basement and raises Alana in front of the building.

"Well car?" Alana frowned, she thought they would ride a motorcycle like that time.

"Hot, I don't want my wife's skin broken." so Azzam stepped on the gas pedal.

"Alah, don't be pretentious to care so, yesterday just let me walk until my feet hurt like this." said Alana smiled bitterly.

"That was yesterday baby, that time our relationship was not good. Now no longer, I will be your driver everywhere." Azzam glanced at Alana at a glance.

Alana did not answer and chose to focus on staring at the streets, she did not know to believe or not to say Azzam.

Then Azzam grabbed Alana's hand and put it on his chest, he wanted Alana to feel his heartbeat and believe that he meant it with his words.
