Chapter 39.

After Kurniawan's death, Azzam's body slumped on the floor, he was stunned by the dark look. His eyelids were no longer able to hold the fluid, all spilled out without him noticing.

What's he been doing? For years he had considered Erni a bad person, his father's usurper even accused him of killing Vienna.

Not once did Azzam insult her twice, yell at her, even hurt her feelings. It turned out that the woman he hated was his own biological mother, the woman who had given birth to him into this world.

Without saying goodbye, Azzam left the house and boarded a car owned by Kurniawan. He drove the vehicle at high speed.

Yes, it did not take long for Azzam to arrive at a company building that he had once refused when applying for cooperation to his company. Azzam had to meet someone, he was sure Alana was hidden by the man.

Unfortunately Azzam's arrival did not bear fruit at all, he could not meet the man. Said a staff member in the lobby, their boss is having some business outside. Azzam had to bite his finger at the woman's words.

The woman even laughed loudly and discussed the matter of the accident last night.

Azzam suddenly rounded his eyes perfectly, he growled but could not speak, he let the woman grumble at will.

But who is this woman? Azzam was silent for a moment after the phone connection was cut off.

Then he contacted Rudi with his cell phone, he sent the caller's number to the man. Azzam had to know who the woman was and what reason would make him hurt Alana?

After Rudi responded to his orders, Azzam cut off the phone unilaterally. He continued on his way to the apartment.

At the same time, Alana was in her bed. He looked sad thinking about Azzam.

From the door of the room, Rizal came and walked up to him. Alana regained her senses and quickly wiped her wet face.

The man carries a tray filled with dishes, he intends to feed Alana to eat but his good intentions are instead rejected by Alana. The girl hit the tray she was carrying until the plate and glass on it fell and shattered into pieces, all the food strewn on the floor.

Rizal let out a heavy sigh, trying to temper the anger so as not to be mistaken in acting. He didn't want to hurt Alana.

"Please let me go, let me get out of here!" pinta Alana with the same gaze.

Rizal shook his head weakly. "I can't."

Alana threw a glance in the other direction, she did not want to see the man.

"You're in the right place. Why get out of here? I will take responsibility for you." Rizal added.

"I don't need any accountability from you. Remember, I'm nobody to you. Realize, this action of yours is not right!" beaver Alana raised her voice.

Rizal just smiled and tried to grab Alana's hand, the girl looked back at him and swiftly brushed off his hand.

"Our relationship has been over for a long time. Now I'm not the woman I used to be, I'm married." explained Alana so that the man understood.

"Your marriage is just a status, I know that." said Rizal lightly, he knew there was no love between Alana and Azzam, so why was the relationship maintained?

Alana smiled bitterly which made Rizal narrow his eyes.

"You're wrong, the fact is I love Azzam and he loves me a lot. So please, stop expecting me, until whenever I will never come back to you. Our relationship's been over since you left."

Degs...

Rizal was really surprised to hear Alana's words, his heart ached,

I was stabbed by a sharp sword. He did not expect Alana to be able to say that to him, there was no way Alana would love Azzam.

Then what about her? His love, his sacrifice and the struggle he has done until it can be as successful as this.

Rizal does all this only for Alana, from the beginning he has promised to return as a successful person, he will make Alana the queen in his life.

Now he's back as promised, but what does he get? Alana does not even wait for him, but instead marries another man.

"Please understand! I know you're a good man, I really appreciate your struggles, but fate has set us on a path, you deserve a better woman than me." alana looked at Rizal with teary eyes.

Rizal was stunned for a moment then blinked, a drop of liquid suddenly falling in the corner of his eyes. "Is there not the slightest bit of flavor left for me?"

Alana did not reply, she just shook her head in response.

Rizal clenched his gaze in another direction, his tears were rushing without him being able to hold back. This was really painful for him, but he couldn't possibly force Alana either.

Without saying anything, Rizal also chose to stay away from Alana, he left the room with a faint heart.

What's all this for? What is the point of trying to achieve success if Alana finally has to leave her life?
