Married for Slander
Chapters 14.

Alana closed the laptop after watching CCTV footage in the apartment. Turns out Azzam was right, he wasn't with anyone at all for two nights.

Alana then got up from her seat and walked slowly away from the room, her legs were still very sore when stepped on.

"Azzam.." called Alana when she caught her husband bowing his head on the living room couch.

Azzam did not say, he just silently shed all the tears that were still left.

Alana dragged her feet and sat down beside her husband. "Azzam..."

The man gasped as Alana touched his shoulder.

Azzam quickly wiped away the traces of tears still running down his cheeks and turned his head towards Alana.

"Sorry, I-I"

"No Alana, you're not wrong." Azzam shook his head and flopped down on the floor and grabbed Alana's hands and kissed her.

"It's all my fault, I'm too happy to have a wife like you. My delusion was too high, I was so eager to prepare all this for you, but I forgot how to keep your feelings." Azzam dropped his head on Alana's thigh.

"Azzam..." Alana pulled her hand and rubbed her husband's head.

"There's so much you don't know about me."

Azzam tries to open up and explain what happened to him in the past. She didn't even hesitate to tell Alana about her mother.

Yes, Azzam does not know for sure how it happened. But according to the story she heard, her mother ended her life shortly after learning about her father's affair.

At that time Azzam was still in the first grade of Junior High. After school, he suddenly found the body of the mother who had hung in the room.

Which child will not be shocked to see the stragic event. Azzam until trauma for a long time.

Several years later, Azzam began to recover from his trauma. However, the wound was again torn apart when the father took the other woman home.

Azzam is getting angry. Not only did it cause his mother to die, Kurniawan even blatantly showed his animal nature.

That is why Azzam chose to leave home. He did not want to see the face of the woman who always reminded him of those bad memories.

"When I look at you, it's like I found something that was missing from my life. My heart feels at peace when it's near you."

"Hehe... I'm a fool, I'm expecting too much from a marriage you don't want at all."

Azzam rubbed his face rough and quickly away from Alana. "If you really want to leave, then leave, I won't hold you back anymore."

Azzam got up from his seat and walked into the room. Maybe it was his destiny to live alone.

"Azzam.." cried Alana.

Alana turned her neck towards the door, but Azzam was nowhere to be seen in her eyes.

Alana immediately stood up and followed Azzam into the room.

Seeing Azzam lying on the bed, Alana breathed a sigh of relief. He was afraid that Azzam would do something stupid after everything that happened just now.

Then Alana turned around and closed the door slowly. He walked into the kitchen to look for a drink, he felt thirsty because of the debate that had just taken place.

After getting the water she took from the dispenser, Alana sat on the dining table chair and sipped the water slowly.

Alana was stunned for a moment. Now that he was beginning to understand the reason for Azzam not divorcing him, Azzam did not want to be like his unfaithful father.

"I won't go, I'll hold on as hard as I can." inwardly Alana, then downed the white water she had in her hand to the toilet.

After convincing herself to stay, Alana opened the blazer attached to her body and put it on the chair. Today he wants to serve Azzam like a wife.

Alana then walked closer to the refrigerator, coincidentally all the groceries were already available in it. Alana wants to cook for Azzam because it's about time for lunch.

Not fancy, Alana only cooks according to her ability.

At around twelve in the afternoon, Alana had finished her cooking at the dinner table. He grabbed the blazer he had put on the chair and took it to the room, waking up Azzam.

Arriving in the room, Alana smiled to see Azzam who was still snoring on the mattress. Alana put her blazer on the sofa and stepped over to the bed.

"Azzam.." call Alana, she sits on the edge of the bed patting her husband's cheek softly.

"Hmm.." murmured Azzam without opening his eyes.

"Eat yuk! It's lunch time." Alana.

"I'm not hungry." replied Azzam as he twisted his body and hugged the bolster tightly. He turned his back to Alana who was still staring at him softly.

Alana immediately smiled bitterly at Azzam who seemed to deliberately ignore her. Is Azzam still angry about the incident?

Not wanting to push herself too much, Alana also chose to get up from her seat and get out of the room.

Yes, Alana was confused to face a situation like this, she seemed to be eating simalakama fruit.

"Why tired of cooking if the edges are not appreciated like this?" Alana stared sadly at all the food on the table and took it to the kitchen.

Just as Alana was about to throw all the food into the trash, Azzam suddenly came and exclaimed. "Why banished?"

Alana was surprised and turned to the source of the voice, her eyes were blackened to find Azzam who was already standing near the refrigerator.

"Why look at me like that?" azzam asked narrowed his eyes.

"N-no..." Alana was confused as to what to say.

"Why was the food thrown away?" ask Azzam again.

"That's it, the food is not good." replied Alana of origin.

"Masa' anyway? Come here, let me taste first!" Azzam approached and took over the plate that was in Alana's hands.

"Don't Azzam, I told you the food wasn't good." Alana was about to take it back but Azzam suddenly glared at her.

Alana instantly fell silent for fear of seeing her husband's sharp gaze.

Azzam took a spoon and tried the food that Alana was about to throw away.

"mmm... It's delicious" Azzam said, staring intimately at Alana.

"Yes, eat it when it's good!" Alana was about to leave but her steps were immediately blocked by Azzam.

"Where are you going?" azzam asked, frowning.

"You take a shower." replied Alana while bowing her head.

"Let's take a shower, help me eat!" azzam Pinta.

"I'm not hungry." replied Alana as if to take revenge, but her stomach was rumbling from now on.

"Don't lie, I know your stomach is very hungry." said Azzam.

"Who's lying?" pissed Alana.

"You want to eat together or take a bath together first?" azzam offers a choice.

Alana gawked in disbelief that Azzam would make such a crazy offer. "Just eat together." replied Alana quickly.

"Yes, bring the food back to the table!" Azzam left the kitchen with a satisfied smile. He would keep pressing Alana to the knees before him.

Alana raised her lips so upset, she seemed like a doll that had no power but to obey.
