Chapter 78 - Uncontactable

A week after her return from out of town, Ela is difficult to contact. The number is still active but like deliberately not picking up the phone or returning the message. Even when it comes to boutiques, there's always no Ela there. For a visit to Ela's residence, Elmer still hasn't had enough courage.

Early in the morning before leaving for the set, Elmer had been to Ela's boutique, the man came with Sam there. As usual, the goal is just one to meet with Ela. It's just that Ela wasn't there.

"Sorry, Sister Elmer, but Ela has not worked in a boutique for almost a week, she always works from home" replied Alin.

"You know why Ela is?"

Alin shook his head, because he really didn't know. He was only given the mandate to look after and take care of the boutique well while Ela worked from home.

Mama Naya is in front of Ela's room. He knocked on the door, but hesitated a little. Until finally, Ela herself was the one who opened the door because she wanted to get out.

"What's the matter Ma?" asked Ela who was confused by her mother who was in front of the room.

"Ah, no, just talk for a minute. Can you?" Ela nodded and followed behind her mother.

Mama Naya takes Ela to the park next to the house. They sat together in a chair and looked at the flowers that were blooming there.

"Mom don't know what you're thinking, and you're working on it. But can you, please don't make my mom worry? You don't look like the Ela you know. What's up?"

Ela slightly lowered her head and closed her eyes then she turned her head and grabbed her mother's hand while rubbing it.

"I'm not papa, Ma. Don't worry."

Mama Naya couldn't believe it right away. Moreover, the glare of Ela's eyes exuded an aura of sadness within them.

"If you can't tell Mom. Tell the people you trust. Mama doesn't want you to hold her alone."

Mama Naya rubbed Ela's hand with her other hand.

"Don't you think mom hasn't known all this time that you've been holding your own problems. Mama knows El, knows it. But mama tried to be quiet, because mama was sure there was a reason why you didn't want to tell mama. But please, don't be alone."

"Mama!"

She hugged her mother. He really did not expect his mother to understand him that much.

"No papa, no papa not to be okay. Everyone has problems in their life. You should get past Ela. Mama always supported you."

"Can I have one request?" ela said as she took off the embrace of her mother.

In between his free time, Elmer keeps asking Sam about Alin.

"Did he call you about Ela?"

"Not Elmer. You've asked that many times. I'm tired of hearing that."

"What do you think of Ela?" Elmer asked again.

"I don't know and I don't want to know."

"It sucks! You're a bitch Sam!"

Sam breathed for a moment.

"Do you want me to visit Ela's house?" sam's bargain makes Elmer look straight at Sam.

"You want to accompany me?" ask Elmer to make sure.

"Yes before I change my mind. But not anytime soon. Your schedule is already very tight. How about next week?"
