Chapter 35 - Realize Yourself

After various ways done by Sam, finally Elmer wanted to get out of the car because the father said, Bella was not home.

The beautiful house he left a few years ago. The atmosphere looked no different, it was still the same as before. Even the photos in the house were not replaced. Still photos of his father, mother, brother and himself.

Along the way into the father's room, Elmer watched him carefully. Nothing really changed.

Mr. Sebastian breathed slowly.

"Don't you miss going home? You've been living outside El for years. We are still in the same city."

Elmer didn't respond anymore. He was waiting for what words would come out of his father's mouth again.

"Because the news about you being a father's son is already known by many parties. No exception, by my own father's work partner. Many of them offered their children to be betrothed to you. Dad didn't answer them directly. Because it concerns you, your future, and your survival. Moreover, you have not yet recovered from your trauma."

"So I mean, if I agree, you're gonna set me up, are you?" guess Elmer.

Mr. Sebastian nodded.

"There's no harm, right? You're still alone anyway. Can not rule out the possibility, it could be that with you married, your trauma can slowly disappear. Relying on you taking a child's heart from Richard feels like it's somehow realized."

"Dad knows for himself. I don't like being forced. I also wouldn't approve if you were to mate with one of the children of your partner's work," Elmer said.

"I'd guess. It's really hard to change Elmer's head. Then how long do you wait for you to get Ela? Until dad's hair bleached all? Until Naomi turns teenage?" ask Mr. Sebastian who is a bit emotional and upset at the same time.

"Dad underestimated me? Just look! In this one year, I'm sure I can conquer Ela's heart."

"If you can't?"

"It could be dad."

"Don't be too confident. Ela is not a woman who is easily fascinated by men. Even his own father had raised his hand, resigned to the will of his daughter."

Sam who had been there could only be a statue that was silent but could hear and see everything. Well, it's only natural that Mr. Sebastian wants his son to get married. Elmer stood up from his seat. He turned his body, then looked back.

"It looks like Dad brought me here just to talk about it. So, I'll go home first."

Without kissing his father's hand, Elmer comes out of Mr. Sebastian's study followed by Sam from behind.

Mr. Sebastian nodded and let Elmer leave just like that.

When she was outside the house, Bella was seen getting out of her car and half running to meet her. Elmer doesn't care about that. He extended his hand to Sam and said, "Lock!"

Sam gave. Elmer then walked into the car and took the seat.

"You're punished. I'm going to go home alone to the apartment" said Elmer.

"Keep me home with what?" ask Sam.

"Yes, I don't know" replied Elmer.

Elmer started his car and turned it back. Bella, who was next to Sam, shouted to Elmer not to go first.

"Els! Let's talk! I will not give up on continuing to invite you to straighten out this misunderstanding!" scream Bella.

However, the car that Elmer was driving in had already walked out of Sebastian's residence.

"Free! What you're doing right now won't change Elmer's decision. You should have been self-conscious Bella. You hurt Elmer that sick before. You don't even feel guilty in the slightest. There's no apology you said to Elmer. Are you human?"

Bella snorted bitterly because of Sam's words. This guy can always make his mood bad. It was as if he was the one to blame the most here.

If it should be wrong yes admit wrong and immediately apologize so that the problem is quickly resolved. Not even add new problems, and make people sick because of it.

If only Bella was a man, maybe Sam would have easily hit Bella's head to realize what she had done. Not that Elmer has not moved on, just that the wound is still there and the scars will not disappear that easily. Even for years, even Elmer lived, the wound was still remembered. Sam had been accompanying Elmer, so he knew how heavy the wound was.

After saying that, Sam walked towards the gate.

You could have fallen in love with a woman like her Elmer. Nothing good at all. Still mending Ela everywhere. If I were Sebastian, I would have kicked that woman out of the house. Very nice taste.
