Chapter 42 - Ela knows Elmer's trauma

"Don't tell a story, because I don't want to share a story with you" Ela said.

"You want to move somewhere?" haggard Elmer.

Because it was Ela who didn't want to leave. Elmer took the ginger candy out of his jacket pocket.

"Eat it, it might help warm up a little bit."

Ela nodded.

Elmer started talking again, even this time it was harder than telling about his trauma. Because he had to recall the most painful memories of his life. When people he loved and trusted seemed to be the ones who hurt the most.
