Chapter 57 - It's not your fault!

Still no words were spoken from Ela's lips after being pulled back to sit by Elmer. The woman's gaze looked straight ahead at the waves rolling in the ocean. The sound of waves hitting the reef became a rhythm that night.

Valdi's breath seemed to be wheezing. The man grabbed Ela's hand. Ela was crying so much.
