Chapter 14 - Your touch makes me better
On set, Elmer was wearing his costume because in a few minutes he would be filming his video. While others were assisted by women, Elmer was always assisted by a male crew. Even for make-up, Elmer always chooses dimake-up by male MUA. This led to many questions from the crew and employees.
"Now isn't it? Why is she such an anti-female? Couldn't it be that handsome guys like men?" ask one of the staff.
"Hus! Where possible! If you talk, do not be careless. It could be that your words were heard by others and even made into news. Then you lose yourself. Talk should be in accordance with the facts do not match the content of our thoughts that are not necessarily true," refuted the other female staff.
The chatter was heard by Elmer. The man, could only sigh in resignation.
Finished, Elmer's dimake-up went straight to the set. Elmer always does his job well. Even the director was very satisfied with Elmer's acting. Moreover, the improvisation made by Elmer makes the character more alive.
"I was never wrong to choose a cast in the drama I was working on. You are the star of all stars" praised Director Hong.
"Ah, there's no need to praise so director Hong. I can float high and snobbish later, hehe," Elmer replied with a chuckle.
"It's okay, as long as you have something to brag about, it's better."
"No ah, I went to director Hong's dressing room first."
"Yes, you'll be no more at 16:00."
"Ready."
Finished changing clothes, Elmer chose to rest in the waiting room while waiting for his turn to take back. He lifted his whole body up on the couch and lay there. He wanted to close his eyes, but he did not feel sleepy. As a result, he just played his phone.
A message came in from Sam who was busy looking for him.
"Wrong yourself, why are you always so busy helping others? I should have been helped, huh!"
Elmer had no intention of replying to Sam's message. Doing good is good, but if it's dry, he's also bothered.
The sound of footsteps came closer to him. Elmer looked over and saw a woman there. His heart was already pausing due to anxiety and nervousness. Does he have to run away now?
"Hi Elmer, am I interrupting your break? Can we take a picture?" ask the woman who is a fan of Elmer and is a staff there.
She refused, but the woman approached her. Elmer wakes up from the fall and turns to sit down. While the female staff bowed her body to take a selfie together.
Elmer's hands began to sweat coldly. His face was slightly pale and the nausea in his stomach was unbearable after the woman touched Elmer's hand when giving Elmer a gift.
The man ran to the bathroom. It made the female staff so confused and left from there.
In the bathroom, Elmer vomited up to pias in the face. He almost fainted. But someone came to help him. That person is Ela.
Moments before Ela walked into the men's bathroom, she was in the women's bathroom washing her hands.
When he was outside the bathroom, he heard the sound of people vomiting from inside the men's bathroom. Wanted to go inside and help her, but Ela was afraid to even be mistaken for a pervert. But if he does not go inside, fear that the person does need his help. As a result, after fighting with her mind, Ela chose to go inside. For what she'll end up like, Ela will think after.
Ela was so shocked when she saw the pias face of Elmer that was like an undead. The woman helped Elmer by supporting the body of the man who was about to fall.
"God! What's the matter with you?" ask Ela.
Elmer could not answer because his body was so weak. But the presence of Ela there made little by little the nausea disappeared even though her body was still limp.
Ela asked Elmer to come out of the men's bathroom. The woman took Elmer to the waiting room and laid Elmer's body there.
However, Ela's hand was instead grasped and placed on her cheek. Ela's touch makes her better. It's even more effective than the drug Sam always gives.
"This once in a while, your touch makes me better" Elmer said softly.
"Huh! Where there is so!" answer the unbelieving Ela.
"There, here's the proof" Elmer replied.
Ela is forced to let her hand be held by Elmer. The breathing that was originally hunting now turned normal. Slowly the feeling began to disappear. Elmer's condition is better than before.
"Have you? I have another job. I have to go!" said Ela.
Actually Elmer isn't this Ela's gone. Moreover, he was alone there. What if something like that happens again? Huhai! Just think about it Elmer's gone weak.
Fortunately, Sam came at the right time. His eyes immediately widened to see Elmer lying on the sofa with Ela's hand held.
Is there something I missed?
"Well, it's Sam already coming."
Ela let go of her hand and left without greeting Sam who was still confused by what had happened.
Even Sam continued to look at Ela's departure and then looked at Elmer with a probing look.
"What's going on?" ask Sam to interrogate.
"Regular" replied Elmer.
Sam could only sigh. He could guess what happened. But still there was something stuck in his heart because of the existence of Ela earlier. For more details Sam will ask later in the car, because it is very unlikely he talks about this in the current location. Fear of anyone who heard and even became a scene all over cyberspace.
"Then why did you hold El's hand? What if someone accidentally takes a picture of you and spreads rumors about you? You didn't think up there?" Sam pulled out his fangs again upset at Elmer.
"Rather than thinking that, I prefer not to faint on set. Thanks to Ela I've gotten better" replied Elmer.
Elmer's reply was somewhat ambiguous in his ears.
"How do you mean?" ask Sam who does not understand.
"I'll explain later" he said.
Sam also nodded. He gave Elmer medicine so as not to feel nauseous. Elmer refused that.
"There are more effective drugs than that" Elmer said with a faint smile.
Sam is confused again and finally complies with Elmer.
At 16:00, Elmer did another take until 20:00. After that, he and Sam went straight home and talked about what happened this afternoon in the apartment.
