Chapter 22 - Am I in love?

Elmer was still there when he got what his father told him. Ela begins to be annoyed with Elmer still sitting on the sofa.

Ela then invites Elmer to speak again and asks the man to come home.

"Go home, I don't want any journalists taking pictures of you in my boutique."

But Elmer smiled.

"Did you forget? I am the brand ambassador of one of your fashion brands. If there is bad news, I will silence him with it" he replied firmly.

Ela was a little surprised, apparently Elmer already knew about it.

"You know what?"

"Know it."

Talks were halted when Alin said goodbye to go home.

"Son Ela, I'll go home first."

Ela nodded.

"Let's Elmer" said Alin to Elmer.

Elmer nodded as well.

"Your employees have gone home one by one. Don't you need my help closing your boutique?" haggard Elmer.

"I'm not a weak woman who always asks for help" she replied, bringing some clothes into the warehouse.

Afterwards, Ela went to her room and tidied up some of the designs she had drawn into the map. Then he came out of the room with his bag. He walked past Elmer and turned around.

"You want me to lock it in the shop?"

Hearing that, Elmer immediately stood up and walked closer to Ela.

When she was outside, Ela locked her button door with two keys.

"You got a car?" ask Elmer.

"No, but I'm waiting for an invitation" Ela replied.

Ela looked at Elmer with a glance. He's starting to be vigilant. Especially if his mom and dad know, he will definitely be mocked and betrothed to Elmer. Ela really doesn't want that.

Fortunately, the invitation came at the right time.

"Dude! Quick in! Brother must come home soon too! Ezra was whining to have his papa come home quickly!" elnan shouted from inside his car whose car glass was already open.

Ela walked towards her sister's car, before getting into the car, Ela waved her hand at Elmer.

The car Ela was riding in had already walked away, while Elmer was still standing in front of the boutique. He was disappointed because his plan did not go well. He couldn't take Ela home. He wanted to find face in front of his mother Ela.

Elmer ruffled his hair then got into the car and threw the paper bag he was carrying into the seat behind the wheel.

The man on the way was always grumbling in annoyance.

Shortly after, he arrived at his apartment. Then he sent a message to his father that he had taken his clothes.

I've taken father's order. If you want to take it in my apartment. Tell me first.

That's how the message is.

Because after all, Elmer still did not want to go to his father's house. Moreover, there was Bella, the woman she hated the most. Instead of anger enveloping him, it's better that Elmer doesn't meet.

Elmer took off the suit he was wearing and hung it. He took off the belt and threw it on the bed.

Elmer ruffled his hair and then rolled on his mattress, before throwing his belt on the floor.

"Am I in love again?" ask Elmer who still doesn't believe. Especially during these 6 years he always avoided many women because of his trauma. If it must be close, it must be because of the demands of work. Even during his career in acting. He never wanted to attend a reality show.

"But how can? I feel like my heart is dead and frozen."
