Chapter 6 - Alpha and the Problem

A week later...

Astrid left for the office by car as usual, their application will be held a week before the wedding of Rama and Intan.

Surely it has obtained permission from Biom and Rissa who let the two first step into the serious level.

In the middle of the trip, his car was forced to stop because a black car blocked his way.

A man came down and approached Astrid who was still in the car.

The man knocked on the door.

Astrid lowered the window and stared lazily at the man nearby, "What else?" resounding.

"How are you?"

"Good waitress just meeting you this morning makes me not okay."

"Why do you refuse to meet and answer my phone?"

"I don't have time to meet you."

"Can we talk outside?"

"Sorry, I can't. I had to rush to the office, there was a sudden meeting this morning," Astrid replied trying to smile.

"Astrid, why have you changed?"

Astrid did not answer, she closed the window and turned on the car engine and then passed.

The man was upset.

"I have to get you again, Astrid!" muttered.

In the car, Astrid mumbled, "Why doesn't she ever stop bothering me? He left me, then why did he feel the most hurt?"

Arriving at the office Astrid's face looks not as cheerful as usual.

His best friend and co-worker approached him, "Why is this early in the morning your face pouting?"

"I'm upset with someone!"

"Who? That Cold Assistant?"

"Not."

"Then?"

"Rin."

"What else do you want?"

"Okay, I don't know either."

"It looks like I have to teach her a lesson" Kayla said.

"Better not, Kay."

"Why?"

"Rino's a rude man, what if you get hurt?"

Kayla laughs.

"I'm afraid, because Rino's a forger."

"You take it easy, I can take care of myself. I'll teach you a little lesson from meeting him."

"But I hope you can hold back" Astrid said. He knows that his best friend is easily ignited emotions, but originally very friendly and polite.

"Yes, I'll hold back if I meet him."

"Once dong, now go back to your room or I'll fire you!"

"Ready, Mom!" Kayla then passed.

Astrid then went into her room.

Grabbing a cell phone and calling her boyfriend. "Hello!"

"Hello, good morning baby!"

"How are you?"

"I'm good. Sorry, we haven't seen each other lately" Alpha said.

"It's okay."

"Astrid, I want to tell you something."

"Say."

"What's our proposal to be pushed back?"

"Why be pushed back? Didn't you promise to propose in two weeks?"

"I'm really sorry, Astrid. I must accompany Rama to his village of Intan."

"So, did we fail the proposal?"

"Not failed but delayed."

"I told my family, they've arranged a schedule. Why did you suddenly change your mind?"

"Darling, I'm so sorry."

Astrid took a breath, then said, "Alright, then. I'll tell my family we're off the proposal!"

Astrid hung up the phone in annoyance.

Before lunch, Alpha comes to Astrid's office.

As Astrid had just walked out of the meeting room, she walked towards her room.

"Miss, Mr. Alpha has been waiting for you in the room!" secretary said.

Astrid immediately entered her room.

Alpha gasps stand when he sees the presence of his lover.

"What are you doing here?" resounding.

"I want to apologize."

Astrid took a breath.

"I've been very busy this month, so I'm afraid I don't have time to take care of this show" Alpha explained.

"Yes, it's okay." Nadine forced a smile.

Alpha approached her lover and clasped his hand, "Darling, please don't get angry like this. I'm serious about you and want us to get married."

"My parents told the rest of the family, didn't you think of that? Two more weeks of the show, you're just talking now!"

"Yes, once again I'm sorry. I don't intend to disappoint you. I promise after Rama's wedding, we'll get a proposal."

"If you have an event after Rama's wedding then our relationship is over" Astrid said.

"Why are you talking like that?"

"You're not serious!" Astrid pointed at Alpha's chest with her index finger.

"I'm so serious, I love you, Astrid."

"Lied!" snapped it.

"Astrid, what's wrong with us two weeks down?"

"Yesterday you said you were going to propose to me a week before Rama's wedding. Now even backtracked. I asked you to marry me first, you refused."

Alpha rubbed his face with his hand.

"If you're serious, we'll propose in two weeks."

"Alright, but I don't have time to accompany you shopping for our cover kit" Alpha said.

"No problem."

The night before going to bed 3 men chatted as usual and happened to stay at the main house.

"Astrid refused to let her application be postponed" Alpha said.

"Obviously he refused, because you promised him" Biom said.

"You know I've been busy for a month" Alpha said.

"Yes, but I didn't have time to go shopping."

"If he doesn't mind, why should you worry?" ask Biom.

"Yes, that's right."

"But if your show is held in two weeks. Sorry, I couldn't attend because I was taking care of the wedding and had to go home to my parents" Rama said.

"Me too, for having to accompany Young Master on a trip abroad" Biom chimed in.

"And I have to look after Miss Anaya and the Princess" Alpha said.

"Hopefully, Young Master gave you permission to leave Young Miss for a while" Rama said.

"Yes, at least I have to go for three to four hours like that" Alpha said.

"Try talking to Young Master" suggested Rama.

"Later I'll talk to him," he said.

Next morning...

While in the car, Alpha who happened to be driving said, "Master, can I ask permission?"

"What adultery?"

"Two weeks I'm going to apply, I'm allowed to leave Young Miss for a while for about four hours. Did you allow it?"

"Why don't you step down?"

"Astrid refused, because I had promised her parents that I would come to propose for two more weeks" Alpha said.

"Rama is on leave and Biom is coming with me and you want permission" Harsya replied.

"If you allow it, I'm very grateful" Alpha said.

"Alright, you can permit for five hours after that return to the main house. Let Anaya and my daughter take care of Nayna."

"Thank you, sir."

"Yes." Yeah."

Astrid had been at the restaurant where she and her partner and lover had lunch. Astrid calls Alpha to meet and talk about their application.

"Where are you?"

"I'm still in Young Master's office."

"I'm here, come quickly!"

"Sorry, Astrid. Young Master hasn't finished the meeting yet, I can't possibly leave him" Alpha said from the other end of the phone.

"How are you, anyway?" his protest.

"Once again I'm sorry" replied Alpha.

Astrid hung up her phone with a cobbled heart, she took a sip of her order avocado juice.

Amidst his annoyance, Rino suddenly appeared before him with his smile.

"Only alone!"

Astrid then pressed the button on her phone, then said, "Come here, I'll treat you to a meal. There's a job for you, I'm in a normal place." Hang up the phone and continue enjoying the avocado juice.

"You're waiting for someone?"

"It's none of your business."

"Astrid, you why 'sih? I just want to be friends with you."

"I don't want to be friends with you."

Soon a woman who was the same age as Astrid was present in their midst.

"What job would you give me?" ask Kayla.

"Look in front of me!"

Kayla follows Astrid's orders, looking surprised at the man she saw.

"Erase him!" astrid's orders.

"Are you able to get away from this table, sir?" please Kayla softly.

"What if I'm here?" Rino challenge.

"But my friend doesn't like you being here, sir. " Answer Kayla.

"I really like it here and want to talk to him, who's going to get angry?" ask Rino again.

"Husband's candidate and I, sir." Kayla narrowed her eyes.

"So, is he getting married?" ask Rino.

"Yes" answered Kayla.

"Definitely her husband-to-be is no better than me" Rino said.

"Maybe Mr. Alpha Arsana, the chief bodyguard of Young Master Harsya Abraham is not as good as you are" Kayla said.

Astrid hears her future husband approaching his friend and whispers, "Why did you tell him my future husband?"

"Let the man in front of us understand" Kayla said grinning.

Rino who heard the name Alpha alone was already frightened especially when it came to Harsya.

"Will it be here, sir?" kayla looked at Rino.

"Kay, please bring food to my room. I'm lazy to eat here and you take care of him" Astrid said. "One more thing, you have to be careful" he continued.

"You take it easy, let him be my business!" kayla.

Astrid got up from her chair and left.

Rino wanted to catch up with Astrid but had her arm in Kayla's hand, "Where are you going?"

"It's none of your business!"

"This is obviously my business, sir!"

"You don't have to interfere in my business!" Rino looked angry.

"Eat him sir don't bother my friend's business too!"

"Are you his personal bodyguard?"

"Please take it that way."

Rino folded his hands, "Don't you know who I am yet, Miss?"

"I know you, a shameless man chasing after the love of a woman he's already dumped" Kayla replied.

Rino lowered his hand, he was so upset with the woman in front of him.

"Never bother my friends again!" Kayla gave a warning.

"You've already called me into war, then you'll know the consequences later, Miss!" Rino put on an angry face.

Kayla just smiled when she was actually scared.

After Rino left, Kayla ordered food for him and Astrid.

Kayla took 2 boxes of food into Astrid's room.

"Has he gone?"

"It."

"He didn't threaten you, did he?"

"Little bit" answered Kayla.

"Little how?" Astrid scrunched her forehead.

"Yes, he said that I had the courage to take the war."

"He said that?" ask Astrid.

"Yes." Yeah."

"You have to be careful, he can do the desperate" Astrid said.

"You take it easy, he must be bluffing" Kayla said.

"Hopefully he's just bluffing" Astrid hopes.
