Chapter 45 - S2 - Elijah Disappears

Two weeks have passed....

Lanny comes with her friend to Randy's parents' house.

"Sister, I brought my friend. She's Madya's former secretary" explains Lanny.

"Include my name Esty!" said the 40-year-old woman.

"Why did you bring him here?" ask Randy's mom.

"Let Brother know what Cindy's true nature is," Lanny replied.

"Cindy's Mr. Abraham's secretary who's very cunning, ma'am."

"Don't say anything bad about my brother-in-law!" angry at Randy's Mama.

"I have no intention of aggravating Cindy, Madam!" Esty. "I just want to straighten out the problems and slander that befell former superiors" he continued.

"You're obviously defending him" said Randy's mother.

"No, Mistress!"

"Just tell me what you want to explain!" tell Randy's Mama.

"When the incident happened fifteen years ago, Madame asked Mr. Abraham to accompany her to the city of B but her husband refused her on the grounds that there were still many jobs. Then Cindy offers Daniel Mr. Abraham's personal driver to deliver the Big Lady."

"Madya's mother rejected him because Daniel had just returned from the hospital. So, there's no coercion here. Mr. Abraham finally wants to deliver his wife but Cindy says the company meeting can't be postponed."

"When Madame also wanted to resign her departure, but Cindy continued to persuade him to leave. And that he did to be close to Mr. Abraham."

"The closeness of the two has also been known to the Madam, but she chose silence. So when Mr. Abraham died he did not want to continue because he was too hurt. But Young Master Harsya wants the real culprit punished."

Hearing Esty's words, made Randy's mother without shock.

"It's so rotten, it's him" said Lanny.

"I can't believe Cindy sacrificed her own sibling!" said Randy's Mama.

"No one wanted it, Daniel's car lost control when it was over to take us to B. That means inside the vehicle without me and Madam" explained Esty.

"So, it wasn't Madya who forced Daniel. But it was Cindy who turned the facts around" Lanny begged him.

"Daniel has also reminded her sister not to play with her boss. But Cindy ignored him. The property company that is now owned by Randy was established with the help of Mr. Abraham's capital" said Esty.

"Why is it as if he gave the company voluntarily?" mumbling Randy's Mama.

"Mr Abraham believed too much in Cindy so he had time to play with fire" explained Esty again.

Elia, meanwhile, has a chance to escape from her husband's apartment. The man gave his trust to him.

Elijah grabbed her bag and her husband's car keys. Rushed downstairs when Randy went to the office 30 minutes ago.

Elijah arrives at the apartment's parking lot, he looks around to make sure people don't get suspicious.

"Gellie!"

The woman gasped in shock when she heard her name being called, looking back at her glance. Elijah opened the car door and entered. Without a second thought, he started the engine.

Randy approaches his vehicle and knocks on the car window, "Elia!"

Elijah immediately left the apartment parking lot.

Randy ran to his car, and he quickly got in and chased his wife.

In his vehicle, Randy continues to curse him for being careless and trusting with his wife.

Nervous and frightened Elijah drove off his vehicle, he had to look in the rearview mirror many times. "Damn, he's following me!"

Panicking and not concentrating, Elijah slammed his steering wheel to the right to avoid pedestrians crossing.

Randy stopped his vehicle, rushed out and approached Elijah's car.

His eyes were round, his heart instantly stopping when he saw Elijah fainting with his forehead bleeding.

"Gellie!" his yell.

Half an hour later, Randy was in the hospital. Elijah is in medical care.

An hour passed, and Elijah was awake and cared for in a room.

Randy approached his wife with a smiling face.

"The play of what else he was playing" Elijah sat down.

"Why do you want to run away?" randy asked withstanding his anger when he looked at his wife's face.

Elijah did not answer.

"What if something is bad with our child-to-be?"

"Kids?"

"Yes, said your doctor is pregnant."

"You don't like having my child?" Randy asked back.

"Very like," Elijah pretended to put on a happy face.

"Never try to escape, if you don't want me to punish you!"

Elijah assented.

Randy's phone rang, and he answered. "Hello, Ma!"

"Hello, Randy. Where are you?"

"I'm in the hospital, Ma."

"Who's sick?"

"Elia, he tried to escape and ended up hitting a tree" Randy replied.

"Geez!"

"What did Mama call me?" ask Randy.

"There's something you want to say that's very important."

"What about Elijah here, Ma?"

"He's sick and he can't escape" replied Randy's mother.

"Well, I'll be there!"

Randy approaches his wife and tells her he wants to see her. "I wish you hadn't done something like that."

"Yes, I'll stay here. Go!" said Elijah.

Randy kissed his wife's forehead and passed.

Randy arrived at his parents' residence 1 hour later.

Randy's mother hugged her son and cried.

"What's up, Ma?"

"We've been lying to Cindy all this time."

"Looking, how?"

"She's not actually sincerely helping us" explained Mama Randy.

"I don't understand what Mama said" he said.

"Cindy slandered the Elijah family, she told mom that Madya forced your papa" Randy explained.

"So, the help Aunt Cindy gave was all from Elijah's father?"

"Yes, but he admitted that he had been working hard all this time" replied his mother Randy.

Randy sat down, he squeezed his face. He has been wrongly accusing his wife's family.

"I have to go to the hospital and apologize to Elijah" Randy said.

"Go, Son. Say sorry to her."

"Yes, Ma. I'm leaving, yeah!" Randy rushed to his car.

Arriving at the hospital, Randy made a quick step into his wife's hospital room.

The bed looked empty and had been clean without any patients.

Randy asked the nurse where his wife was.

"Miss Elijah came home half an hour ago, sir."

"Who with? He's sick again, Sister."

"So there were some men who picked up Miss Elijah, sir."

Randy, completely confused, calls his mother crying, "Mama, Elijah is gone!"

"What's? How come?"

"I don't know who took Elijah away" replied Randy. "I want to find Elijah, Ma." Further.

"Where are you looking for him?"

"I don't know what matters Elijah and my future son back."

"Elia's pregnant?" randy's mom asked from the other end of the phone.

"Yes, Ma."
