Chapter 46 - S2 - Pursuing Elijah

Randy who was really worried about his wife's condition then went to Madya's residence.

Once there, the security guard said that the owner of the house was not in the house.

Randy then goes to Harsya's house to question his wife's whereabouts, again he does not meet the woman there.

Randy continues his search to the address where Mitha-his friend Elijah lives.

"He's not here, since he got married we never communicate again? What exactly is going on?"

"Nothing, thank you." Randy has passed.

In the car, Randy grabbed her hair. He was frustrated, Elijah disappeared because of his mistake.

Randy had thought of looking for Elijah at the Harsya residence but he paused because he did not want to get trouble from the man.

Randy finally chose to go home, when he got home he hugged his mother who was in a wheelchair.

"I haven't found it yet, Ma."

"Mama is sure that Elijah was picked up by his family" he guessed.

"If he had been picked up by his family, I wouldn't have worried. How isn't it?"

"Have you checked the hospital's surveillance cameras?"

"They didn't give permission, Ma."

"Why?"

"Because Elijah left there was no fear and he agreed to be picked up by the men."

"Mama's sure they're your family-in-law."

"I have to find him again, Ma."

"Tomorrow morning, it is night."

Randy assented.

The morning after breakfast, Randy slides into his mother-in-law's house. Once there the security guards barred him from entering.

"I'm the daughter-in-law of this family, you don't allow it?" randy asked annoyed.

"Sorry, Sir. We are just following the orders of the Great Madam," replied one of the security guards.

"What is my wife here?" ask Randy again.

"Sorry, Sir. We have no idea and no right to take care of Mr. Abraham's family."

"I'm sure Elijah's here.

"Sorry, Sir."

Randy watches the entire house building from outside the fence hoping to find his wife.

"Go, Master!" pinta security guard.

Randy has passed. Driving his car, he darted to Harsya's house. Once there, the same treatment is received.

"Mr Harsya and her family are out of town" said one of the guards.

"Is there a Miss Elijah here?"

"Nothing, Sir."

Randy finally left. "Where did they hide Elijah?" muttered.

Randy had just thought if he kept his wife's phone, he rushed his vehicle to his apartment.

Opening the door of his room, he searched for a cell phone he had stored in a wardrobe drawer but could not find it. Not wanting to give up, he ransacked the entire room but the result was nil.

"Damn it, he's got his cell phone!" frangipani.

Randy ruffled his hair, "Where should I look for him?"

In the midst of his despair, his phone rang. His personal secretary's name.

"Hello, Master!"

"Yes, what's wrong?"

"Sir, our client Mr. Adi filed a complaint."

"Why?"

"Reconstruction of the building we made is not what we want" a man replied from the other end of the phone.

"Didn't he agree before?"

"I don't know either, Sir. But he wants us to change it."

"Change!"

"We're going to add another charge, sir."

"Edo, please take care of this. Because there's something I have to take care of!"

"Good, Sir."

In the afternoon, Randy decided to return to his mother-in-law's house. As soon as he got out of his car, a black four-wheeled vehicle had just entered the courtyard.

The woman only turned her head for a moment then stepped quickly into the house.

Randy was about to catch up but his steps stopped with a fence of several large men.

"I want to see him!" said loudly.

"Sorry, Sir. You are forbidden to see Miss Elijah" said one of the bodyguards.

"Gellie!" Randy kept calling his wife's name.

Two bodyguards dragged Randy away from the fence.

"Take me off!"

"Sir, please get out of here. Otherwise we'll be fired!"

Randy heard one of the guards become pity. He also left his in-laws residence.

Elijah could see clearly that her husband was devastated by her disappearance. However, he was also tired of living continuously restrained.

Elijah rubbed his flat stomach, "Son, we must be strong without your papa."

Madya approached her daughter who was standing in the big window of their house. "Do you regret leaving him?"

"No, Ma. I never regretted it, he's been torturing me and lying to me all this time!"

"What are you going to do next?"

"After this child is born, I will file a divorce lawsuit."

"Your mother and sister won't forgive her either, she has hurt you. He's been blinded by the slander Cindy spread."

"Yes, Mom. I don't want to lie to him anymore!"

Her night....

Randy could only sit limp on the living room floor. His mind crossed the shadow of Elijah doing activities in front of him. The woman's smile and laughter made her miss.

Especially before the accident, Elijah had complained of weakness and vomiting continuously every morning.

"Elia, I'm sorry!" ogre.

Randy then went to his father-in-law's house, outside the fence he shouted his wife's name.

The guards were forced to snap at him for making a scene.

"Elia, I have something to say. Please, out!"

The cell phone of one of the guards rang.

"Hello, Master!"

"I don't want him to show up here, get rid of him!"

"All right, sir."

After getting a call from Harsya, the bodyguard informed another colleague.

They also nodded.

One of the bodyguards approached Randy, "I'm sorry, Mister!" he then hit the stomach of the man in front of him until he fell.

Randy grimaced in pain.

"Master, get out of here. Before we give you more than this!"

Randy stood up and called Elijah's name again.

The guards beat Randy again until the man was battered.

Elijah saw from a distance that his husband was beaten until he fell weakly helpless on the asphalt. He pulled the tip of his lips, "That's not how much!" muttered.

The next day, Randy opened his eyes and saw himself in a hospital bed.

A small basket of fruits was on top of the nightstand and beside it a white envelope.

Randy picked it up and opened it, looking like a letter inside. Then he read it.

'Go away from my life, Randy Niel Sudirja. I can be more ruthless than what you did a few months ago to me. I was kind enough to warn you!'

"I won't give up, you and my son must come back" he murmured.

Once healthy, he promises to pursue Elijah and prove that he is not who he was.

Two nurses came to Randy's room to give him medicine and check on him.

"When can I go home, Sus?"

"If you feel better and healthier, this afternoon you can go home. But, wait for confirmation from the doctor first!"

Randy nodded in understanding.

After returning home from the hospital, Randy went to his father-in-law's house and he did not give up chasing his wife.

A black car just came out from the Madya residence. Randy follows the vehicle, hoping he can talk to Elijah.

"He's following us!

"Leave it, Mom. Until when he's gonna hold on to me." Elijah looked relaxed.
