Chapter 38-S2-Give Me a Chance

The next day, after work. Harsya went to her mother's house. He explained the results of his investigation about Randy.

Madya was without shock and did not expect the words given by her first son.

"Eliia's coming home soon, I've told her not to go anywhere" said Madya.

10 Minutes later, Elijah came home.

"El, your brother wants to explain something to you. Come sit here!" Madya.

"Yes, Mom." Elijah sat next to his mother.

"Where do you know Randy?" ask Harsya.

"Randy knew me first, brother."

"meaning?" Harsha asked again.

"Randy liked me seven years ago and he always sends me presents" Elijah said.

"So, he's been all this time...."

"Yes, Mom!" sahut Elijah.

"I don't understand the direction of your conversation" Harsya said.

"Your sister almost every day gets a shipment of various goods, Harsya." Clearly Madya.

"So, he's actually your fan?" ask Harsya.

"Come, Brother. Maybe" answered Elijah.

"You need to get away from him right now!" harsya's orders.

"Why, Brother?"

"Because he's Cindy's niece!" answer Harsya.

"Aunt Cindy? Papa's secretary?" elijah asked doubtfully.

"Yes" Harsya replied again.

"He approached you because he wanted to destroy us!" Harsya.

"I can't believe it, brother!"

"El, your brother can't possibly lie. It could be that he wants revenge through you!" Madya.

Later that night, Elijah meets Randy at a cafe.

Without further ado Elijah immediately asked the man who had just sat down. "Who are you really?" staring coldly.

"What's up, El?"

"Don't ask me back!" his jolt.

"Elia, I don't understand your question" Randy said softly.

"Who's Aunt Cindy?"

Randy flinch.

"You deliberately approached me because of that woman, right!" accuse Elijah.

"El, listen to me. I'll explain everything!"

"Explain quickly!" he said with a high tone.

"Please turn down the volume of your voice, people see us" Randy said.

"Buruan!" his insistence.

"All right, I'll explain. Aunt Cindy's my papa's sister."

Elijah holds his breath, Randy is the nephew of an enemy of his family. That woman who had destroyed her father.

"El, I'm sorry. I don't think my relationship with Aunt Cindy is that important because we're going through everything."

"But I can't accept you!"

"El, why?" Randy pretended not to know.

"That aunt Cindy has made my father die!" reply Elijah.

Elijah then stood up.

"El, where are you going?"

"Never come near me and walk away from my life!" Elijah confirmed his words.

Randy pursues his steps, "El, can't I be happy?"

Elijah stopped his steps.

"Tante Cindy has a mistake, why should I be affected?"

Elijah looked back. "Because my family doesn't like our relationship!"

"I'll prove I'm not like Aunt Cindy!"

The next day, Randy waits for Elijah in front of his office. He arrived earlier than the employee's scheduled return.

Elijah went out to his bag to the parking lot. Randy brought a bouquet of roses to him.

"Why are you here?" ask Elijah ketus.

"Make you!" Randy handed me the bouquet.

"You better take it home!"

"I can't!"

"Randy, don't bother me!"

"El, what do I do for you to accept me?"

"El, please listen to me...."

Elijah opened the door and entered.

Randy knocked on the car window repeatedly.

Elijah started the car engine and passed.

Randy then did not stay silent, he also caught up with him.

Madya left her daughter on the balcony, 5 minutes later Elijah walked into her room.

"I'd better get some sleep, she'll be gone in an hour" Elijah said, looking at the wall clock that had shown at 1 a.m.

Pulling the blanket, Elijah closed his eyes. But, the thoughts in his head could not make him sleep well.

Elijah pulled out his blanket and went down and opened the window. Randy's red car is still parked outside his yard.

Elijah walked up to the nightstand and grabbed his cell phone, and he called Randy. Two minutes later the man answered his call.

"Hello, El!"

"Get out of my house!"

"I'm not leaving if you don't give me a chance!"

"Randy, no chance. Go and find someone better than me. My family is precious, their decision I can't argue with."

"El, I'm serious about you. Don't judge me for what I didn't do!"

"I cannot decide" said Elijah.

"Didn't you love me?"

"Randy, it's not about love but our heartache is too great!"

"I'm sorry for what Aunt Cindy did to you" Randy said.

"I'm sorry you can't bring my father back!" Elijah shut his phone.

Elijah wakes up and looks back at Randy's parked car. Stay the same in his position last night.

Elijah did not want to take a headache, he then cleaned himself and prepared to go to work.

At the dinner table, Elijah and Madya enjoy breakfast together.

"He's still waiting for you outside. It looks like he wants to prove that he's serious" Madya said.

Elijah was silent.

"Why didn't he just give up?" tangent Madya.

"I don't know, Mom. Let him be so, he will soon give up" Elijah said.

"Hopefully."

Meanwhile, Randy is still in the car waiting for Elijah to get out of his residence. Soon, the person he was waiting for appeared.

Elijah drove his car out of his house.

Randy quickly follows Elijah's driven vehicle.

When the streets are quiet and low, Randy precedes the pace of his vehicle Elijah. He blocked the woman's car.

Opening the safety belt, Randy got out of the car and walked quickly to Elijah who was also outside his vehicle.

"What's wrong? Why block my path?" ask Elijah.

"I want to talk to you" replied Randy.

"There's nothing to talk about anymore, forget everything!" Elijah's holding the car knob.

Randy pulls Elijah's arm, "I'm serious with you, El. Tell me how do you accept me?"

Elijah put Randy's hand down. "There's no way!"

"El!" Randy started getting emotional.

"You want to get angry?"

Randy took a breath and then he exhaled.

"Stop!"

Randy got rid of his body.

Upon arrival at the office, Elijah received a white rose and a piece of paper inside the envelope. He then read the contents, 'Give me a chance.'
