Chapter 12 - Back to Plead

Astrid is still working despite her marriage to Alpha having stayed a few days away.

Pinching the grey bag, he stepped foot into his office building.

His steps stopped when he saw Kayla get down from his car Rino, he looked astonished by the scenery in front of him.

After the car left, Astrid approached her best friend. "Why are you together?"

"It's long!"

"Do we need tea to talk?" astrid Syndicate.

Kayla just grinned.

"Lunch later, we'll have a chat. Today you have to treat me" Astrid said.

"I can't buy you this month. How about next month?"

"Why is that? Wasn't it two days ago payday?"

"The story is long too."

"It looks like we should have a chat at home," Astrid alluded.

"Yes, not really. But, I promise you next month I'll treat you and Alpha" he said.

"Oh, fine then."

"Yes, Miss Astrid."

During the day, while eating lunch in the restaurant in front of the office.

"So, you helped pay the debt?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"Then, why'd he take you to work?"

"So she can pay off her debt to me, because there's no way she can afford it."

"But you have to be careful with him" Astrid said.

"Yes, I'll be careful."

"And you must take care of your heart" Astrid continued.

"Why?"

"Usually love will grow over time and the intensity of meeting that too often. Moreover, you say shuttle wherever you go," replied Astrid.

Kayla laughed a little.

"Hey, I'm serious. I fell in love with that cold guy because Harsya always told him to take me home. All the business concerns me, all handed to him. Moreover, Alpha donated blood for me."

"After Biom's wedding, Bibi will send Nayna. Hope he succeeds in persuading your brother."

"Yes, Auntie. I'm sure Bibi can handle it" said Rissa.

"Your focus is wedding preparations, it could be Darrell coming home all of a sudden."

Elsewhere, at the Harsya residence.

"What about Rissa's show?"

"After Alpha's wedding, we'll focus on helping bring Darrell here" Harsya said.

"It's a pity that Rissa's sister, has an older brother but doesn't care much about not having both parents. Different from me having a father and mother but so bad to treat me."

"Don't remember that bad past" said Harsya softly.

"I feel sorry for him, my husband. Intan and Astrid's sister they've been happy."

"Rissa is happy with Biom" Harsya said.

"Yes, but the blessing to unite their happiness is hindered" said Anaya.

"Rest assured, they will be happy" Harsya said.

After returning home from the Madya residence, Rissa called her sister.

"Hello, Brother!"

"What else is it?"

"Sister, please come back for a moment to give us your blessing," Rissa said.

"How many times have I told you, I wouldn't go home just to see you!" snapped Darrell.

"Sister, do I have to die so that Brother Darrell can forgive me?"

"Yes, it's all ruined because you should be the one who's gone forever not papa and mama!"

"Yes, Brother. I was wrong, I was too stubborn not to hear their words. I made mama often sickly left papa. I'm the one who broke our family. I'm sorry, Brother!" Rissa said in tears.

"Rissa, crying blood too. I'll never forgive you!" Darrel hung up the phone rudely.

Rissa sat on the floor, hugging her knees and crying.
