Chapter 49 - S2 - Keeping Randy

"Randy, I'm sorry. Please, don't leave me!" pinta Elijah was crying in the arms of her ex-husband who was lying in bed.

"Miss, sorry we had to take her!" said a woman dressed as a nurse.

"You can't take him, '" Elijah told the 3 nurses.

The three women did not care and pushed the gurney away.

"Sister Alpha, they're taking Randy. Please, stop!" please Elijah sniffled.

Alpha shook his head and hugged him.

"Let's stop them, brother!" Elijah hit Alpha's chest.

"Sorry, Miss!" Alpha said shrewdly.

Elijah let go of his embrace and shouted, "Randy!"

Elijah woke up, his breathing was dull, sweat running down his forehead even though in his room there was a cooler.

Elijah turned to the side as his son suddenly cried.

"Elra, why are you awake?"

The baby boy was just crying.

"You're thirsty, huh?"

Elra nodded.

Elijah took his son and suckled him.

Elra was usually very calm and still breastfed looking fussy, many times she rubbed her eyes and moved.

"What's wrong with you, son?"

Elra came down from her lap and cried.

Elijah was confused by his son's attitude. Crossing her mind about her ex-husband's condition, she contacted Alpha to ask him how he was doing.

Not waiting long, the call was answered, "Hello, Miss."

"Sister, how's he doing?" ask Elijah. Now Alpha who is in the hospital is guarding and monitoring the condition of her ex-husband while she is resting at the hotel because she has a toddler.

"Mr Randy hasn't been around yet" Alpha said.

Elijah breathed a heavy sigh.

"Why isn't Miss at this hour sleeping?" tanya Alpha saw her watch showing at 2 in the morning.

"Elra woke up and kept crying, I don't know why. He was never like this" Elijah said.

"Sorry, Miss. Is it possible that Elra feels that her papa...."

"Without fighting?" guess Elijah quickly.

"I don't want to pry Miss's past with Mr. Randy. It's just that the blood bond between the child and the father is inseparable" Alpha said.

"Then what should I do, brother?"

"Later in the morning after breakfast take Elra to see her papa. If Miss wants to, otherwise it's Miss Elijah's right to refuse."

"Well, I'll be there in the morning with Elra."

After breakfast Elijah took his son to the hospital, in a room that was not too big. She joins her son's hands with her ex-husband.

Elijah's eyes glazed over.

"Pa-pa!" Elra babbling.

"Yes, Son. This is your papa you see in the photo" Elijah said in a trembling voice.

Elra patted Randy's palm with a typical toddler laugh and said, "Pa-pa!"

Elijah pulled his son's hand so as not to touch the infusion hose.

Elra clapped her hands pointing at the grinning smile before her mother.

"Let's go home!" take Elijah gently.

The boy shook his head.

"Papa rest, baby!"

Elra refused to let her out of the room, crying.

"You want to wait for papa?"

Elra nodded in spirit.

"Why do you need a break, will you come here again?"

Elra was crying.

"Dear, relax. Papa will be disturbed," Elijah persuaded by carrying him.

Elijah seemed overwhelmed to silence his son, he accidentally saw the face of his husband. Randy's eyes shed tears.

Elijah rushed out of the room and met Alpha. "Sister, it looks like he's responding!"

"I'll call the Doctor, Miss!" Alpha running to call the medics.

The three of them entered the room except Elijah and Alpha.

A few minutes later, the trio came out and the doctor said the patient heard what the people around him were talking about.

"I ask the family to talk often to him to help him recover" said the doctor.

Elijah and Alpha nodded.

The doctor and nurse passed.

"Miss didn't call Mr Randy's family?"

"I didn't have their phone contact because I didn't know him" Elijah replied.

"What if Miss's lawyer finds out through Mr. Randy's lawyer?" alpha Suggestions.

Elijah thought for a moment and then agreed.

"Let my Elra carry it" Alpha said.

Elijah gave it to her, took a cell phone in his bag and contacted the lawyer who handled his divorce case with his ex-husband.

Half an hour later, Elijah's lawyer sends a message and the mobile number of one of Randy's family.

Elijah in a stern voice contacted the woman who was the cousin of his former mother-in-law. "Hello, Aunt. This is my Elijah Randy's ex-wife."

"Gellie!" The middle-aged woman did not expect.

"How are you?" he continued asking with passion.

"I'm good, Auntie."

"Elia, Auntie doesn't know where Randy is" Lanny said in a voice that held back tears.

"Tante, Randy is with me," Elijah said stammered.

"With you? Where are you guys? Is she okay?" lanny's Cecar.

"Randy is in the hospital and is unconscious" Elijah replied.

"Why is he in the hospital? What happened to him?"

"Randy had an accident, Auntie!" elijah's tears broke again.

"Now tell me where he's being treated?" ask Lanny.

Elijah also gave the address of the hospital as well as the care room of her husband.

Two hours later, Lanny arrived by chance she was in the same city. Approaching Elijah, the woman hugged him and a cry broke out at the same time.

"Over the last few months we never knew where he was" Lanny said.

"He even rented out his parents' house, his cell phone number could not be reached" Lanny said.

"I just met yesterday and we talked for a while but then he left...." Elijah wiped his tears.

"Since his mother died Randy's life was not necessarily direction, let alone you go to leave him. Randy was often sickly and eventually left without news."

"Tante, I'm sorry. I can't be by Randy's side when he needs me" Elijah said.

"Yes, Elijah. Aunty also apologized for being late to prove to Randy's family that your mother was innocent and that they had been pitted against by Cindy" Lanny said.

Lanny took turns to look after Randy and did not forget he told the other family. One by one the relatives started coming to the hospital.

While Elijah is still in town E and Alpha has returned home. He took turns with Biom to watch over his sister and nephew Harsya.

Rissa and Darren and his wife also came to visit. However, they did not stay.

While Harsya and her mother did not want to come to visit because they were still disappointed with Randy.

Anaya can only encourage her sister-in-law through voice and video calls.

The next morning, Biom drove Elijah to the hospital with his son.

As usual, the toddler smiled cheerfully as he entered the room. His body moves as if talking if he wants to get down from his mother's arms and hug his father.

Elijah sat on the chair next to her ex-husband's bed, holding Elra, who kept hitting Randy.

"Pa-pa!" ocehniah.

"Don't hit hard, son!"

Elra kissed the back of Randy's hand with a smile.

Elijah again had to let out his tears looking at the scene before him.

Elra is very active, trying to creep on Randy's body. Elijah pulled and stayed away from him.

"Don't do it again, Mama will take you home. If you don't want to obey" said Elijah.

Elra nodded.

Elijah sat down and talked to his ex-husband. He also touched Randy's hand. "Wake up, I'm not at home in this town. There are still a lot of jobs I haven't finished. Your son wants to hug you. Don't you want to touch her?"

Randy's hands move.

Elijah rounded his eyes, "Randy!"
